This place is the ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE TO DEAL WITH!!! The managers , assistant managers, service advisors are all incompetent . No one ever knows what is going on . I dropped my car off for an oil the change , fix a flat that they never fixed initially , and to check / replace a separated tire I purchased from them. They had it for almost 24 hours and still had not touched it. it was dropped off at 10:30-11 Tuesday and told them I needed it by 9:30 Wednesday morning because I'm going to Flagstaff. This located should be closed down and demolished ! it's the biggest waste of space and a liability for the community. I went to this place to get a new spare tire for my car. As soon as we got there, the guy was kind of rough. I believe his name is John. I hope I'm not wrong. Anyway. When we said we wanted a tired, I have an accent in my English, so, when I said it, he started right away to be racist at me. I saw the price for the tire in internet for 69 dollars, so when we asked, the guy said "it's gonna be 120", so, I turned to look at my girlfriend, and he said right away "or you guys can go to Walmart to find something cheap. Why? Because where aren't white people? What is that racists comment? So, he stopped to talk to me at all and ignored me, and my girlfriend (with a better accent than mine) had to have the conversation with him because he was so rough at us. We went in to get the oil changed and they talked themselves up and sold my wife a new set of tires "which we needed" then sold her a radiator flush and brake flush. She went with the sale and left the vehicle there to grab dinner. They said it wouldn't take long. Came back and the truck was still on the lift and found out they put the wrong tires on. Needless to say we left the vehicle there for the evening because they close at 7:00 and they were still doing the flush. I truly believe they deserve the 2 star rating that's advertised!!!! We have been taking our vehicles here for years and will not be returning for any future services. Horrible horrible experience. We called in to see if they can change all 4 of our tires. We spoke to John, who I believe is the manager. We ended up going with it and he said he would call us back with an update on the tires and when they would get here and it would be either later the same day or early the next day. We never got any call so we had to call ourselves. We took the car in the next morning and John said it would take 2 hours, dropped it off at 8 and at 10 am we called to check in to see if it was ready. John told us they haven't started yet and it would be another COUPLE HOURS in the end of the call he ended up saying that our car is going in now. We were already so disappointed because we had plans to go to Sedona later that day. We ended up just showing up right after that call to see what was up. The car was still in the lot and just sitting there. So they lied. We just took our car back and left. These people do not care at all and are just all liars. Management sucks. We purchased 4 tires for $672.00. One tire in the right rear sidewall was ready to blow out so my wife had to stop at a tire shop not near firestone and get a new one immediately. OK so I let that go. Then a month later the left rear sidewall bulged out and had a flat spot. A flat spot creates a lot of noise when on the freeway. You can see in the photo the tire is like new but a flat spot on it. Went to my mechanic to check Rear end of car and he said your tire is bad and was almost three years old before purchase. That means it was sitting in a warehouse for almost 3 years. This is Arizona. You cannot have old tires put on your vehicle as the sun will do it's damage. So I went to this business where I bought the tires. He immediately said the tires were not rotated. I said we do them every 5K. Come back tomorrow and talk to the MGR. Next day the Manager comes out and says the Honda Civic 2016 is light in the back and caused the damage to the tire. I said you sold me old tires. He said we can it's legal. But I said this is Arizona and you should have told us they are old tires because we would not have purchased them. Honda has been making great cars forever. He said sorry you have to buy new tires. However, but when I arrive, the man at the desk was condescending to me and treated me like some sort of idiot. And only to have the younger gentleman, whom of which appeared to be the one I spoke with on the phone, come and correct the older tech at the desk that I did infact come in for an evacuation. So I left them my vehicle to evacuate the freon and when I came back, they charged me nearly 200 dollars (which I called another firestone and they said they would have only charged 50 or 60 bucks) and didn't even give me a written recipt for my service. Not willing to put a new set of winter tires on a mercedes sprinter van.. because it does not fit on the lift. They new the vehicle, they know their lift clearances let us come to the shop to have it mounted and then don't want to do it. Not a heavy sprinter vehicle and was completely possible with a regular floor jack. And still trying to blame the customer. No customer service blaming and not a can do mentality. Kenneth Store Manager *BEWARE* STAY AWAY!! I dont normally write reviews but i have to this time. I went to this Firestone on 6/12/21 to get my brakes done on my 2001 GMC Yukon XL. $977 for new pads and Rotors with a fluid exchange. 3 days later im on the US 60 Highway getting off the Exit and my brake pedal went to the floor. My Caliper fell off the Rotor! Just about had a heart attack and after gaining my composure called Corporate. Was advised Nick the Area manager within the corporate system would be calling me. Kenneth, the store manager called me and when i asked for a full refund he lost it and became Irate and hung up on me. There was no empathy that i was even still alive let alone killing somone else. He is a wolf in sheeps clothing. I said Nick will be calling me and Ken said "Nick isnt calling you, im it!" Low and behold Nick called me and refunded my money and was grateful noone got hurt. Ken needs to Go. Attached to this review is my Caliper that fell off the Rotor. I do not trust this Firestone with my life anymore. read more

I hate to give this Firestone on Reems even one star. This Firestone's Manager Ken is rude, lazy, incompetent and unreliable. This shop replaced my rack and pinion and did not tighten the bolts to tork. The bolts started to come loose,it took the bolts about 9 months to come completely loose. I kept taking my car back to Firestone, Ken continually told me it was always something else wrong he never bothered to look at the real problem. I went to Mexico. On my return I came very close to being killed, the rack and pinion caused my car to swerve into the left lane if another car had been there, we would have both been killed.. When I got back to Sun City West I took my car to Sun City Tire and Auto Repair the mechanic said my car was so unsafe to drive they put it directly into a bay and found one bolt missing and the others loose on the rack and pinion. I am unable to get my money back I was promised by Ken for the work Sun City did to make my car safe for me to drive. I was also told I would get money back for my inconvenience which i havent seen as of right now. I wanted the $300 for the original labor but was told, no way in hell was I getting that back. Just heed my warning this Firestone is not the place to go to get your car worked on..I'll certainly never go back.. read more

Absolutely not. Called ahead to ask what the wait time was and Ben stated, "oh I have enough guys working just head on over and we will get you in." We get there and my boyfriend stated "yeah we called, just looking to get a quick oil change", to which Kenneth responded, "oh we don't do quick oil changes here." Secondly, Kenneth told us the wrong type of oil for the car we had as we had JUST read the owners manual. Lastly, as we are checking out he tells us it will be an hour and a half to complete the oil change. My jaw hit the floor. I commute 70+ miles one way to and from work so I am always needing to get oil changes and not once have I ever had to wait an hour and 30 minutes from when they touch my car to when I get it back. I recently purchased an older truck from a neighbor knowing it needed tires,brakes etc. they recommended a local shop for service so I gave it a try omg not. I suppose they are not used to women knowing something regarding auto repair. I walked into Firestone and spoke to Jimmy G and Chris I was impressed with the professionalism and working to get best price on tires for me not trying to up sale me into something I could not afford. I usually do not complain, but I could not let this one go. My engine light went on in my car, so I took my car to Firestone in Surprise AZ. My husband and I had gone to them in the past and had been pretty much satisfied with their work and service in the past. They charged me $107.51 for diagnostic test and was told they were quite sure they could fix the problem. I made an appointment for Saturday the 25th of July; was charged $400.08. Along with hopefully fixing the problem, I had a few other things done. My husband recently died, and I had no other transportation. I was used to them taking us home if necessary. Not this time had to take Lyft. Paid for Lyft again when it was time to pick up my car. When car picked up was told my engine light was not on and confident fixed. To my disappointment engine light came on same day about 10 minutes later. Took back to Firestone Chris ran another test and told me unfortunately I would have to take my car to the dreaded dealer. Chris told me he had my back and would refund my money if dealer told me they that Firestone had done something unnecessary. "Thought that was an odd comment" The dealer had my car for a day and 1/2. Told me Firestone put in an aftermarket part and not the right part. That visit cost me another $400 (approximately). They did however pay for my rides which was comforting and no more engine light. When I went into Firestone, Chris was not in, spoke with Sales manager who could not help me. Next day spoke with Chris; he told me dealer had a different code and he could not help me. I just cried and hung up on him. I will never go back to Firestone and will sure tell my friends. This is just not right, not professional, and unbelievably bad service. Firestone Complete Care is the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. To my surprise, after only 30,000 miles and less than a year, two of my tires had extreme bulging and were no longer safe to drive on. I brought my car to Firestone Complete Care and expected it to be resolved promptly because I was under the 36,000 miles required by the warranty. Unfortunately, the manager informed me that my warranty was invalid. He asked how many times I had rotated my tires and blamed me for the defect. He also informed me that although I was purchasing new tires, they were in fact manufactured 2 and a half years prior. Another item they failed to disclose. He said he wanted to work with me to give me a discount to purchase two new tires but would not honor the warranty. This deceptive practice was very disappointing and I chose to contact Firestone customer service directly. After speaking to several representatives, I was finally told that although I was never given a paper copy of the warranty, I should have reviewed it on their website. They also informed me that this type of damage could only have been caused by hitting a curb or driving over train tracks. I was not aware that those occurrences that happen often while driving voided their warranty. Due to the unsafe condition of their product, I have had to take my business elsewhere to purchase new safer tires. I am extremely disappointed by the unprofessional nature of this company and surprised that they allow their employees to use deceptive practices to get out of replacing defective products. read more

I took my vehicle in with a coupon for an A.C. check. The coupon was for 9.99 plus a charge if refrigerant was needed. The refrigerant was 2 ounces low so I told them to go ahead and add it. The charge for the two ounces of refrigerant was 7.98 BUT there was a $90.99 A.C. Service fee added. Seemed high. Questioning the charge with management got me nowhere. The moral of the story for me is that the coupon worked for Firestone. LOL. I will find a more reasonable mechanic. read more

Lazy, poor customer service. Scheduled an appointment for 5:00. When I got there they claimed to have been calling me all day to try and reschedule (no missed calls). They hadn't even asked my name or phone number yet, but were confident they called me. They said they couldn't do my oil change because they were busy... meanwhile there was 3 cars in their 7 working bays and 2 guys were at the desk in an empty lobby. They mentioned one their guys was on "lunch" until 6:00 and they close at 7:00... makes sense right? Just a couple of people who didn't want to work late on a Monday night. read more

Had work done on my 2004 Lexus ls430 done at a Firestone in el mirage the work ran me 3800$$ come to find out they had some young buck do the work striped my new motor mount bolts they half assed a lot of the work but luckily when I had to do more work on my car like trans gasket leaks valve cover and a few other things I decided to take it to this Firestone on reems rd in surprise the gentleman there named Eric notified me that who ever worked on my car should be fired because my whole car could have been damaged or I could have gotten hurt he called the Firestone that did the work and stood up for me because I paid a lot of money for half assed work. I found a screw in my tire and pulled into this location at 4pm on Sunday. As I walked up I saw all the bays full and the hours posted on the door open until 5 and I'm just hoping at this point I can get the repair done. Chris walked out checked the tire and said he can do it but it will be awhile. He could have easily said he did not have time and considering they don't charge for this type of repair sent me on my way, but he did not. At 5:05 my car was done and I was heading for home. I also noticed almost all the bays had emptied out as well and Kenneth my tech was still working. I worked in retail as a manager for over 30 years and know all about customer service.
