I've been here twice for a vehicle inspection, both times only $10. My usual mechanic charges $40+ for a similar inspection without any work performed, so Firestone is a great budget option. They are one of the few car repair places that are open on Sunday, which really came in clutch during my first visit. This shop is across the street from Starbucks, so it's conveniently located if you need to drop off your car and wait. Would definitely come back here for standard car maintenance services. read more

Beware of unnecessary charges! When we first went into Firestone, we spoke to Rafael who was fair and honest with us. He explained that it would be $9.99 for a diagnostic exam. No problem! We explained what was wrong with the car and what was needed. They weren't able to look at it until the end of the day, but quickly confirmed what was wrong. He called me and literally said, "you were right, it's the bushing that needs repair". They ordered the part and said they'd call in the morning. A new guy, Elon, called to let us know it would be $249. He also called to let us know we needed a new battery. Mind you, we haven't needed to jump start the car for years, so this came at a very interesting time for us, wondering what they did to drain the battery. Either way, we declined the upsell items he mentioned, and went in to make our $249 payment. Lo and behold, the payment is now over $300. When asked why it's different than what he told us over the phone, he stated that it was a $50 diagnostic fee. I stated that I told Rafael what was needed to be done, so why the large diagnostic fee, when I was quoted $9.99. He said, "well, if you give me the part number that you gave Rafael, then I'll take off the fee". I didn't think I needed to give him a part number. To be fair, I was willing to pay the $9.99 fee that I was quoted, but also thought that was part of the $249 he said it would all cost over the phone. Elon was so smug during the conversation, knowing there was nothing we could do about it. Well, hope someone sees this and knows that if you deal with Elon, you may pay more than you expected, just like I did. Like I said, beware of this shop and the extra charges. FYI - their A/C guy is on leave, so they can't work on that right now. Not sure how long that will last, but sounded like it's going to be awhile. read more

Came in to fix my AC, and paid for a tire rotation while I was there. I was told 1.5 hrs, ended up being 3. Over quoted on the AC fix and they didn't even rotate my tires. What?! read more

Reliable and trustworthy service. It is always an easy time getting my car checked out by these hardworking folks.

The guys working here are real scumbags. My gf got home from an oil change and was offered $400 dollars to replace her spark plugs!!! This place is a scam if you show up these sht heads will add labor and extras to anything. I did the job for $60 bucks in 45 minutes with a ratchet. I can't believe they are praying on women or people who don't know how to work on cars. Get estimates and find a decent mechanic anywhere else. F~ck these scumbags! read more

My husband and I brought his car in on 6/13/25. Firestone said the compressor was fine and the ac condenser was leaking. They replaced the condenser and did a bunch more work for over $800. That did not fix it so he brought it back but the guys looked at it and sent him away. We gave up. So we had a car still with broken ac but my husband started a new job and didn't have time to bring it in. We finally took it into Shelly's in Thousand Oaks this week, and they said the condenser was leaking. So we paid Firestone to replace a condenser that didn't fix the problem and then had to be replaced three months later. We want our money back for all the work we did. read more

I took my car there last year to have the TPMS sensors replaced on all 4 wheels and to have the alignment checked, I dropped off the car on a Sunday morning and they called me once to let me know the car was on a test drive, they called an hour later saying it was ready to be picked up. I got there, paid and got in the car. I noticed the dash cover was on the passenger seat, not a big deal, I never got the chance to put the Velcro on, but when I looked at the gauges, my full tank of gas was down to 3/4...I also looked at the trip odometer and it had over 120 miles on it. I got home and called them and they offered to give me money to refill my tank and they only put 2 miles from the mileage in to mileage out! I now go to the Thousand Oaks location because I know they're not going to mistreat my cars there read more

Was super cooperative with me dropping my car off suddenly with a dead battery and finished the job right away!

Firestone in Simi is the best thy always take care of my cars and get them done on a timely manner. Elane is the man .

My tire pressure light went on as I was heading to a manager meeting, and this location came up on my maps for tire services. Upon arrival, the manager Elon was very nice and attentive. Talk about customer service! I assumed I would need an appointment but he took care my fire making sure I wasn't late to my meeting. I will make sure to purchase my next set of tires from this location. read more

I rolled in at the best time!! Purchased tires- waited no time to get those new shoes on! Around those corners my new tires are gripping the hwy like no other!!! Service was AWESOME! I'll go back for sure! Thanks Firestone & Simi Valley crew!!! read more

Service is lax - first came in to fix a slow leak in a tire. They supposedly fixed it but 5 hours later it was flat (vs. 4 days previously). Apparently the patch was not tested. Made an appointment for the next day to replace the tire. They didn't check if there was one in stock until I arrived at the store - there were none and the warehouse was closed until Monday. So I had to miss work and come back a third time to get a reliable tire. I have been going to this store for over 10 years because of the consistently conscientious service, but after this incident I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I made an appointment for 1:30 today to get a simple oil change. I showed up on time and when I went to check-in I was told that I would have to leave my car because their scheduling software assumes they have 5 technicians when in fact they only have 3. I left work to get this done, I had an appointment, I showed up on time. I understand that things don't always go as planned, however, they clearly knew when they took the appointment that there was no way 3 people were going to do the work of 5, yet they went ahead and allowed my appointment. No respect for the customer's time, no apology, just you'll need to leave the car and we have no control over the scheduling. Well I would suggest that you contact the mother ship and have them drop the scheduling website because I, for one, will not be coming back again if this is how your appointment system works. read more

My husband was here about two weeks ago due to our other older 2007 nissan which had 175k miles pretty much dying in their driveway. Serious head issues gasket blown, needed engine overhaul. Ralph and his head mechanic were 100% honest didn't charge us to diagnose and allowed us to leave it for a day or two until we found a way to dispose of. We ended up gifting to a car guy friend of ours who ralph and his mechanic spoke with gave him informed details about the repairs . We still have one nissan left -2012 which is still in great shape with 91k so we will continue to have it serviced with Ralph . This is an honest shop run with a great business acumen you can count on. Olivia is great too! You can't go wrong here . Avoid the dealer BS . Go see Ralph . Thanks again Ralph Tony & Bonnie read more

Very honest mechanics, they take their time but they won't upsell you on something you don't need. Super nice about explaining the different options for oil changes and what the guarantee includes! I go here often for my maintenance, do recommend. Prices are fair & often with a warranty! read more

Took my car in for an AC performance check today and won't be going anywhere else! Rafael took care of everything my car needed and made suggestions for things that might need care in the near future. He is always honest with what should be done immediately for my safety and what can wait if its not in my budget. Rafael and Bryan provide quality work and always go above and beyond on the cars they work on!! I recommend setting an appointment or calling ahead at the Simi location, it's a tiny lot with limited parking. If you need your car same day the thousand oaks location is great too, its a much bigger location and many more techs to get you in and out! read more

Really good customer service and helpful! I called them 30 mins before closing and told them I just found out about a flat tire and told them I called another place and told me they couldn't do it but the guy that works at Firestone named Ricky and his other coworker accepted on helping me last minute even that it was closing time. Really nice people! Really recommend here read more

I can see why this place has great and bad reviews. Not too many in between. A while back, my Lexus started making this weird noise. The same noise you hear when watching Fast & Furious movies. The odd thing was it would only happen when I hit 50 mph or over 70. It started in the front then gradually made itself to the back. So I finally decided to take it in. I came in here on a Sunday. In the morning. Shortly after they opened. It didn't look that busy so I had high hopes. I checked in with Rowan and told her about the issue. She didn't tell me how long it would take so I sat in the waiting area. Two hours later, they still hadn't gotten to my car. I checked periodically to see the progress and it was parked at the very same spot I left it at. After they finally got around to my car I was told the front wheel axle or bearing needed to be replaced. I ended up having to leave it there for them to fix. 6 hours later I went back to pick it up and I was told they had bad news. I was told the noise went away, but when the tech went to test drive it he heard a noise in the back so now I had to get the rear replaced which means I wouldn't have a car the next day. What ticked me off was why they didn't determine the rear needed to be replaced in the first place when it was test driven. You can obviously hear the sound in the front and back. And I specifically mentioned this when I checked in. The only upside was they deducted the cost of the Lyft rides I ended up having to pay to go back and forth to my place. I called the following day to check on the progress and was told they broke something, but that they would replace it at no cost since it was their fault. When I picked up my car the next day, I was told to do additional work. I opted not to because I'm definitely going to get a 2nd and 3rd opinion first. Review will be updated once I have the 2nd and 3rd opinion from other local shops. read more

This business has the best customer service I have ever experienced in my life! I was driving through the neighborhood the other day when I heard an odd noise coming from one of my tires. Upon close inspection, I discovered that I had run over a screw, which stuck out at an odd angle. Due to my work schedule, Firestone ended up being the best place for me to make an appointment. Their employee, Rowen, was astoundingly kind and professional in getting everything scheduled. This was my first time heading to their establishment. I had my car towed there despite not having a flat tire (simply to err on the side of caution). They ended up giving me a call to let me know they were actually able to just remove the screw, and that I would not be needing the (very fairly priced) tire repair I was anticipating. And the best part? *NO CHARGE.* That's right: they didn't end up asking me for a penny! No lines, swift scheduling, perfect price points, and the best customer service I've ever experienced. Folks, Firestone is showing us how a tire shop is *supposed* to function. I will be coming back! read more

The technicians here at this shop were by far some of the best people I've ever had work on my vehicle. I had brought in my car for a brake service and Eli was very patient and very easy to understand when explaining all the work being done on the vehicle. I took my car their for a brake job, which they cranked out in a very short time and at a really reasonable price. When we were about to leave, I noticed the brake lights didn't work (my daughter had mentioned earlier that sometimes they did and sometimes they didn't). It was already like 5:15, but they looked at the car right then and there, diagnosed the problem (a bad switch) called the nearby NAPA for a replacement switch, NAPA drove it over, and we were out of there in like half an hour. And, they still had a garage full of cars! I didn't catch the mechanic's name, but he told me he couldn't let me leave with an unsafe car. I was fully prepared to have to leave it overnight. Talk about great service and going the extra mile! read more

Firestone Complete Auto Care - Hanging out waiting for my car - Tires Near Me - Simi Valley, California

I have been bringing my car here for at least 10 years since i moved back to CA. they have always been helpful and taken great care of my 18 year old car even though it is held together with duct tape and looks like something a crack head would drive. they treat it as well as as any non duct tape non crack head car. They do great work and have very fair prices I would give them 6 Stars if I could. I was just in for tires and an oil change. they were super short staffed But Ralph, the owner I'm guessing went above and Beyond making sure everyone was taken care of . There is a reason they are always super busy read more

I brought my 2014 Rav 4 because my tire pressure sensor came on. I was grateful they were open on a Sunday since it was my only day off. Olivia welcomed me into the store and was very kind, and reassured me that she would provide a swift resolution for the issue I was experiencing with my vehicle. She quickly determined that the right passenger tire had a breach on the thread and replaced the damaged tire with my spare so that I could use my vehicle to run errands while she patched the hole. Throughout my interaction with Olivia, she was patient and answered all my questions. I will return to this location for my future tire needs and highly recommend it to anyone needing to patch a tire. Thank you, Olivia! read more

I can get picky with my reviews. I look at everything from store organization and cleanliness, how employees carry themselves, and last but not least, customer service. The store looked good, the main shop employees were friendly and did my requested maintenance in under the estimated time, but one thing overshadowed it all. While I was waiting in line to pay, some guy (appeared to be a regular or a friend of Steve's) cut ahead of me. Now, I've worked in CS and retail before, and I know that a rep should stand up for the customer who was first. Steve didn't do that, so I wasn't very impressed with his ethnics, or lack there of. Next time, I'll do my maintenance in LA, thank you very much, and I won't be recommending this shop to my friends or family based on this experience. read more

I have been a long-time client of Firestone, particularly for their 4 wheel alignment and other complete automotive services. I have always dealt with Olivia and the team and she has been nothing but Top Notch from day 1. Polite, friendly, and very professional. Yesterday a good friend of mine had 4 new tires installed somewhere else and to skip or wait to get a 4-Wheel Alignment right away would not be beneficial to the wear and driveability of the car. At 4:25 on a busy Friday Afternoon. I called Olivia to see what the schedule was like and could she do the 4 wheel alignment for my friend? She put me on hold for 1 minute and told me to bring the car right away and she would have it done. She kept her word 100% and the technician (don't know his name) was also very friendly and professional. Well done Team Firestone !!! Thank You !!! read more

I have been going to Firestone for years and they have kept my car in great shape. Prices are reasonable, work always completed the same day, usually within a few hours. Having two women who are cool and knowledgeable about cars handling most of the front desk stuff makes it pleasant to drop off and pick up my car. They have a no-contact service process now that saves time and works flawlessly. You can pay over the phone, too. No need to go inside. The only thing this place needs is a bigger parking lot. read more

Came in for the 4th of July tire sale event because I knocked my truck out of alignment and had two unserviceable tires. The sale ended the day I called and I asked specifically ask for Firestone Destination LE2 size 265/65/17. Two were in stock, but I wanted 4 tires. Came in that day to pay for all 4 tires was given the sale price, plus made an appointment for tires to be changed when the tires arrived. Bought life-time realignment, went on a family road trip for Independence Day, and still am very satisfied with this place. Now that my wife needs tires, I would like to come back to Firestone Complete Auto-care in Simi Valley to have all four of her tires replaced close to Labor Day. read more
