My husband and I brought his car in on 6/13/25. Firestone said the compressor was fine and the ac condenser was leaking. They replaced the condenser and did a bunch more work for over $800. That did not fix it so he brought it back but the guys looked at it and sent him away. We gave up. So we had a car still with broken ac but my husband started a new job and didn't have time to bring it in. We finally took it into Shelly's in Thousand Oaks this week, and they said the condenser was leaking. So we paid Firestone to replace a condenser that didn't fix the problem and then had to be replaced three months later. We want our money back for all the work we did. read more

I took my car there last year to have the TPMS sensors replaced on all 4 wheels and to have the alignment checked, I dropped off the car on a Sunday morning and they called me once to let me know the car was on a test drive, they called an hour later saying it was ready to be picked up. I got there, paid and got in the car. I noticed the dash cover was on the passenger seat, not a big deal, I never got the chance to put the Velcro on, but when I looked at the gauges, my full tank of gas was down to 3/4...I also looked at the trip odometer and it had over 120 miles on it. I got home and called them and they offered to give me money to refill my tank and they only put 2 miles from the mileage in to mileage out! Service is lax - first came in to fix a slow leak in a tire. They supposedly fixed it but 5 hours later it was flat (vs. 4 days previously). Apparently the patch was not tested. Made an appointment for the next day to replace the tire. They didn't check if there was one in stock until I arrived at the store - there were none and the warehouse was closed until Monday. So I had to miss work and come back a third time to get a reliable tire. I have been going to this store for over 10 years because of the consistently conscientious service, but after this incident I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I made an appointment for 1:30 today to get a simple oil change. I showed up on time and when I went to check-in I was told that I would have to leave my car because their scheduling software assumes they have 5 technicians when in fact they only have 3. I left work to get this done, I had an appointment, I showed up on time. I understand that things don't always go as planned, however, they clearly knew when they took the appointment that there was no way 3 people were going to do the work of 5, yet they went ahead and allowed my appointment. No respect for the customer's time, no apology, just you'll need to leave the car and we have no control over the scheduling. Well I would suggest that you contact the mother ship and have them drop the scheduling website because I, for one, will not be coming back again if this is how your appointment system works. read more

My husband was here about two weeks ago due to our other older 2007 nissan which had 175k miles pretty much dying in their driveway. Serious head issues gasket blown, needed engine overhaul. Ralph and his head mechanic were 100% honest didn't charge us to diagnose and allowed us to leave it for a day or two until we found a way to dispose of. We ended up gifting to a car guy friend of ours who ralph and his mechanic spoke with gave him informed details about the repairs . We still have one nissan left -2012 which is still in great shape with 91k so we will continue to have it serviced with Ralph . I can see why this place has great and bad reviews. Not too many in between. A while back, my Lexus started making this weird noise. The same noise you hear when watching Fast & Furious movies. The odd thing was it would only happen when I hit 50 mph or over 70. It started in the front then gradually made itself to the back. So I finally decided to take it in. I came in here on a Sunday. In the morning. Shortly after they opened. It didn't look that busy so I had high hopes. I checked in with Rowan and told her about the issue. She didn't tell me how long it would take so I sat in the waiting area. Two hours later, they still hadn't gotten to my car. I checked periodically to see the progress and it was parked at the very same spot I left it at. After they finally got around to my car I was told the front wheel axle or bearing needed to be replaced. I ended up having to leave it there for them to fix. 6 hours later I went back to pick it up and I was told they had bad news. I was told the noise went away, but when the tech went to test drive it he heard a noise in the back so now I had to get the rear replaced which means I wouldn't have a car the next day. What ticked me off was why they didn't determine the rear needed to be replaced in the first place when it was test driven. You can obviously hear the sound in the front and back. And I specifically mentioned this when I checked in. The only upside was they deducted the cost of the Lyft rides I ended up having to pay to go back and forth to my place. I called the following day to check on the progress and was told they broke something, but that they would replace it at no cost since it was their fault. When I picked up my car the next day, I was told to do additional work. I opted not to because I'm definitely going to get a 2nd and 3rd opinion first. This business has the best customer service I have ever experienced in my life! I was driving through the neighborhood the other day when I heard an odd noise coming from one of my tires. Upon close inspection, I discovered that I had run over a screw, which stuck out at an odd angle. Due to my work schedule, Firestone ended up being the best place for me to make an appointment. Their employee, Rowen, was astoundingly kind and professional in getting everything scheduled. This was my first time heading to their establishment. I had my car towed there despite not having a flat tire (simply to err on the side of caution). They ended up giving me a call to let me know they were actually able to just remove the screw, and that I would not be needing the (very fairly priced) tire repair I was anticipating. And the best part? *NO CHARGE.* That's right: they didn't end up asking me for a penny! No lines, swift scheduling, perfect price points, and the best customer service I've ever experienced. I took my car their for a brake job, which they cranked out in a very short time and at a really reasonable price. When we were about to leave, I noticed the brake lights didn't work (my daughter had mentioned earlier that sometimes they did and sometimes they didn't). It was already like 5:15, but they looked at the car right then and there, diagnosed the problem (a bad switch) called the nearby NAPA for a replacement switch, NAPA drove it over, and we were out of there in like half an hour. And, they still had a garage full of cars! I didn't catch the mechanic's name, but he told me he couldn't let me leave with an unsafe car. I was fully prepared to have to leave it overnight. Olivia welcomed me into the store and was very kind, and reassured me that she would provide a swift resolution for the issue I was experiencing with my vehicle. She quickly determined that the right passenger tire had a breach on the thread and replaced the damaged tire with my spare so that I could use my vehicle to run errands while she patched the hole. Yesterday a good friend of mine had 4 new tires installed somewhere else and to skip or wait to get a 4-Wheel Alignment right away would not be beneficial to the wear and driveability of the car. Having two women who are cool and knowledgeable about cars handling most of the front desk stuff makes it pleasant to drop off and pick up my car. They have a no-contact service process now that saves time and works flawlessly. You can pay over the phone, too. No need to go inside. The sale ended the day I called and I asked specifically ask for Firestone Destination LE2 size 265/65/17. Two were in stock, but I wanted 4 tires. Came in that day to pay for all 4 tires was given the sale price, plus made an appointment for tires to be changed when the tires arrived. Bought life-time realignment, went on a family road trip for Independence Day, and still am very satisfied with this place. I can get picky with my reviews. I look at everything from store organization and cleanliness, how employees carry themselves, and last but not least, customer service. The store looked good, the main shop employees were friendly and did my requested maintenance in under the estimated time, but one thing overshadowed it all. While I was waiting in line to pay, some guy (appeared to be a regular or a friend of Steve's) cut ahead of me. Now, I've worked in CS and retail before, and I know that a rep should stand up for the customer who was first. Steve didn't do that, so I wasn't very impressed with his ethnics, or lack there of. Next time, I'll do my maintenance in LA, thank you very much, and I won't be recommending this shop to my friends or family based on this experience. read more

Had an unexpected battery failure and called ahead to see if my particular model was in stock. Got an affirmative response, so we continued to the store and were greeted by Ralph (service advisor) who was exceptionally helpful in person as he was on the phone. Ralph immediately scheduled our service "to get you back on the road as quickly as possible" and even though every service bay was full, got another technician to swap out the battery. Saul was our tech, and he also was very pleasant to talk with while he swapped out the battery and took time to check his work, remove all tools and check all our electrical systems as operational before releasing our car. Ralph rang us up & explained our charges and we were in an out in under 30 minutes on a busy Saturday without an appointment. Such "old-school" , personable, efficient & considerate service is indeed a rare experience these days and deserves a shout out. Thank you and well done, Ralph & Saul, both of you! read more

If you want a positive experience Do Not Go Here. I booked an appointment Thursday to have a sensor for my tires replaced on Sunday. I was told that it would be done if I drop my car off at 9:00am and leave it there by 1pm. I received two calls from the place informing me that 2 sensors are out. I oked for the work to be completed. An hour later I received a call telling me they don't have this sensor and I need to come back Tuesday of next week. When I told them they replaced a sensor in the past the rep told me no we can do then here come back at 2:45pm. When I arrived at 2:45pm I was told the mechanic went home for the day due to a supposed emergency. Overall the communication and misunderstanding was bad and I ended up taking my car elsewhere. Firestone definitely lost my business and my friends will hear about it as well. read more
