The staff is friendly, and they are good at their jobs, but the turnover is insane. I believe that has to do with the location itself. This is not the best neighborhood, but not the worst either. I first started bringing my car here 3 years ago, when I moved into an apartment around the corner and I could just walk home and wait till they are finished instead of sitting in their lounging area. However, they do have a nice lounge area than most car places. They have a TV (usually set to American Pickers, or something like that, but they will change it if you ask), coffee maker, and a crazy number of outlet/cord chargers for people if your phone dies. Last time I went in a lady apparently didn't understand that a mechanic cannot NOT fix a problem if it is a road hazard. She caused a huge scene, and I did my best to 'read' my book, so I wasn't in the conflict. The poor mechanic though, he just politely took it. Even as she left the store, she swiped all the stuff on the Front desk to the floor. I will say the mechanic handled himself professionally and nicely, he even asked if I was okay after even though I wasn't involved, I was just in ear shot. Overall, would I come here again, yes, they have my car records, and it makes things easier, but now that I don't live close it is a little of a hassle to wait in the lounge. The plus, is there is always entertainment, whether it be from the TV or the customers. read more

I had to get my car towed there after the battery died while driving, they called me and told me they needed to put in a new battery (and charged an obscene amount) after which, they assured me the alternator and all the electrical components were in good standing. After I asked them to triple check because it didn't make sense why my battery died randomly they assured me it was good. Lo and behold, two hours later my car died AGAIN while driving home, so not only did they charge me for an unneeded new battery, but they did not diagnose the actual issue. Do not go here if you have electrical issues. read more

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT go to this place for oil change or any car maintenance. Last year 2025, June, my parents took their Honda CRV 2013 to get oil changed here. 1 week later, we drive to North Dakota and oil change engine came on. My brother in-law who was a mechanic checked and there was NO OIL in the engine. THIS PLACE DID NOT REFILLED THE OIL AFTER EMPTYING it. LAST WEEK 2/17/26, my mom took the CRV for another oil change. And they did not screw the covering for the oil filter underneath the car well and it end up breaking off while they were traveling to their land on the freeway. They crooks will take advantage of you and are SUPER lazy and will not a SHITTY ass job. DO NOT GO HERE for oil changed, unless you want to come out with an extra $600 plus bill on top of the arm and leg they charged you for an oil change. My parents end up paying $600 to get the oil guard replace underneath the CRV. Too bad I cannot give it a 0 star review, because these people are crooks and would want to steer people away from this place so they don't get SCAMMED like my parents did. My parents are senior citizens so this place probably figure, easy people to scammed and took advantage of them. You have been warned! read more

Nolan is AMAZING and super helpful! I was five hours away from and a light came on my car and he was willing to help me without an appointment and also filled up my tires with air! Amazing customer service. read more

Horrible to say the least! Scammed me out of over $500. They promised and guaranteed their repairs, gave me their word, and turned around and screwed me. Never again will I recommend this place, which I had done in the past. Their customer service is terrible. Stay away! read more

I'm always on the lookout for a mechanic who can take care of my car. I have a third party warranty on my car and many places get cranky when dealing with that company. Firestone worked with me and we're friendly the whole time. They were quick and professional and the job was done right. I couldn't ask for more read more

Horrible to say the least. Their customer service is as low as it can go. Was PROMISED and GUARANTEED my repairs and then they turned around and lied and scammed me out of over $500. This place is a joke. Stay away! read more

I wish I could give a Zero. They have a new manager, Scott. In my opinion, he is unprofessional and rude. I have been taking my car to Firestone for over 2 decades and my recent interaction with him has caused me to stop going to that store. If you have any question on whether to go there or someplace else, go someplace else until Scott leaves. Mike read more

We had a flat tire on our way back to Chicago and stopped here for help in December. Alex (the manager?) was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She and her staff assessed the damage quickly, and when they didn't have the tire that we needed, she helped us locate it at a non-Firestone location! They were friendly, professional, and generous with their time. read more

I went to Firestone in Maplewood yesterday and paid $600 to get two new tires and an oil change. I received my car by 6pm yesterday evening. By 1pm today my tire is completely flat. As a place that's main concern is to "help, care, and repair your vehicle" I am beyond baffled that it hasn't even been 12 hours and my tire is completely flat. I knew that they were closed today but I even tried to leave a message and I couldn't even get a voicemail to express my concerns. Moving further to, I will NOT be going here for any problems I may have. I'll be back Simply to have them fix what they have ruined. Other then that I will make sure my family and no one else returns. Makes me angry that I went against all the already bad reviews that were posted prior. I should've just listened. read more

Firestone Complete Auto Care - Flat tire 1 day after leaving Firestone in MapleWood. Was told it was "brand new" - Tires Near Me - Saint Paul, Minnesota

Jay x tried to say that I needed shocks in order to align the frontend because they control ride height. FREAKING TOTAL SCAM!!! Shocks have NOTHING to do with ride height the springs do. And alignment has NOTHING to do with shock absorbers just control bounce. When I challenged Jay X at this Firestone he started yelling at me and threatened to call the police to have me removed from the shop for challenging his false statements and then removed my vehicle and told me that he was personally going to have me banned from ALL Firestone stores read more

Towed my car there on a Saturday with a flat tire cuz they said they probly could fix that day or next. They called back to say they couldn't find the leak and wanted to replace all four tires, redo the suspension, and give me a complete oil change. Told them to just fix the flat. Didn't hear back and when I called them on Sunday, told me again they couldn't find the leak and didn't have time to look. Towed the car to my regular mechanic and fixed in 20 mins for thirty dollars. Will never do business again. read more

This is my go to place for any type of repairment. They are honest, fast, and always friendly. Every time My service is over, they give me a quick call and it's set. I've never had a bad experience here. read more

Manager has worst customer service ever!! Last year I bought a lifetime alignment for my car. I paid a Gripload for it. I went there the first time, and everything was fine. 6 months later I lowered my car and take it to align again and it was fine. They put some ply wood, I took of my bumper and finished the alignment fine. The guys that work that day were awesome. Last week, I bought new wheels and took my car to be aligned again. This is when the fun began. The head manager checked me in then started asking me a lot of questions. Who ok'ed this to you? Did you get it align last time, list goes on. right then I knew something was wrong. After all questions, he took my keys and said ok. As I was waiting, other customers came in and was helped before me. So I waited for a good 30mins. He then tells me he has to charge me another $250!!!!! On top of my already paid $160 lifetime alignment. I asked him why? He said I had advanced suspensions and they were going to have to have to do camber and toe. In my mind I was like, "does he really thinks im stupid? EVERY ALIGNMENT adjusts camber and toe!!" So I tell him, why were your other workers able to do it last time? He tried to deviate me by cutting me off saying this is advanced. I kept repeating that they were able to do this with no problem last time, even his worker working at the registered admitted that. Then he kept on saying, "I dont care what they told you, we can't do an alignment for this car unless you pay for an 'advanced' alignment". I knew he was making this up, because I'm a car guy myself and there really is no such thing. At that point I was pissed!! I just told him to give me my refund. Then he looked at his system for a good 5-10 minutes, and finally says, "this is a different name" (i had my wife purchase this 1st time due to me working daytime). He then goes outside screams his lungs off with, "Hey you fucking idiot with no bumper this is not the same car!" He went closer to the car and saw it was the same VIN# and looked really stupid. Can you believe this?? a STORE MANAGER!!! Cursing at his customer for getting an alignment done! It does not end there! He comes back in and asks me if I have proof of purchase of this vehicle? Seriously?? 1 hr passed and got nothing done and I was called a "fucking idiot" by the manager. I called up the wife to bring her ID along with all paperwork. Not only did he waste my time and gas now he's wasting my wife's time just to shown this clown unnecessary paperwork. Then in a minute, he said, ill give your refund. WTF???!! Don't get me wrong here, i'm a very reasonable guy and would have accepted a simple sorry I can't get your car aligned here's your refund. Would have been a done deal. I usually don't write reviews but I was pushed to the point where I had to do this so some of you wouldn't have to go thru this yourselves. But this is pure example of an elitist non open minded management. If you believe in real people wanting to help other people (customer in this case), don't come to this place. The workers there are fine and friendly, but when you have egoistic Manager such as this, i'm sure most his workers hates him. I will return there and get his name. DO NOT EVER go here EVER! read more

These folks have always been fair with me and don't try to make me buy unnecessary items or services. Waiting room is clean and comfy.

Store manager Shawn went above and beyond what was necessary to make me a satisfied customer. This Firestone Service Center location goes the extra mile to make sure the customer satisfied. I've been a customer of Firestone Service Center's for over 25 years, and every store has treated me fairly. read more

Displeased with the communication here. I called about fifteen minutes before I came in to confirm I could get my tire changed this evening. I drive for a living and needed to get it changed in order to do my job. I was told that whether the tire could be repaired or if I needed a new one, they could fix it it easily and it would be completed in around 45 minutes. Arrived fifteen minutes later to find out that not only could they not take me tonight because they were too busy, they didn't even have a tire in stock that would fit my vehicle. As I was talking to the man at the front who was informing me and another customer that we couldn't be helped tonight, the girl I had spoken to on the phone was on the phone again telling someone else that their repair could be done tonight. I live nearby and would have been happy to come to this location for regular services given that my vehicle gets a lot of wear. However, after this experience, I won't be returning. read more

I ordered some new tires/wheels from Tire Rack and had them shipped here for install and an alignment. People were friendly and answered all my questions and the car was on the lift within minutes of arriving. I appreciate them letting me know my new wheel design was likely to scratch with their alignment system, which is more a fault with the wheel than the shop as I had to call around multiple places to find a different system. If I'd known the difficulty to align I would not have gotten the wheels (along with likelyhood of curbing the wheel). I'd go back again for other general repairs/maintenance. read more

Great costumer service. Front desk was helpful and very nice. Will definitely be back and be telling others to do service here at this location. They even gave great conversation as I waited for my vehicle to be finished up and offered coffee and water as well while we waited. Great service all around read more

I've gone to several car repair shops over the years and this Firestone has become my go-to place. Dana, the manager, and the others I've dealt with provide exceptional customer service. I appreciate everything from the friendly greeting when I walk through the door to the clear explanations of mechanical problems and needed repairs. I also trust their recommendations for what should be done and what isn't needed, which is a big deal to me. This is partly based on two experiences where other shops said certain work needed to be done in addition to the original problems -- and when I went to Firestone, they showed me why those expensive repairs weren't needed. Prices seem competitive and I receive coupons in the mail or often find some online. Large waiting room with coffee, daily newspaper, TV. Open 7 days a week. So with our two cars and a wide range of repairs and maintenance, I've only experienced technical competence, great service and a feeling that these people are honest. Overall, very happy with this Firestone. read more

I would like to give them no star for not being honest on the wait time. Waited over 8 hrs to get an oil change. Understanding there was some mishap on the website and their busy schedule. Just be honest and say we couldnt do it. Freakin people these day are sooo money hungry. Also stated they needed to get me a new part and didnt even call to ask me if that was ok.
