I've been taking my vehicle to this location for the last three years and one thing is very clear, the workmanship and quality control is horrendous. Nearly every time I bring my vehicle in, I end up having to return it because widget xyz was not installed correctly, or something was missed that should have been found during the QC. Bought 4 brand new tires, the next day was of them was flat, bad valve stem, or so they said. They ordered the wrong size tires, which cost me an extra day, then when the tires were installed, the car sat for a few hours and the bad tire was starting to lose air. Like, doesn't anyone check these things before giving the vehicle to the customer?? The front office staff is very helpful, especially Andrea, and I think that's why I kept coming back, but I'm tired now. I'm tired of having to burn leave days from work to deal with returns, or paying for tows that could have been avoided. I would rate these techs as some of the worse I've experienced at Firestone since opening an account with this company nearly 20 years ago. Took my vehicle to this Rosedale location and the service manager Satarian was very lovely with assisting me with my rear brakes and the price! They took my vehicle in the back I was there for only about 50 minutes for pads and they also gave me a few recommendations and taught me a few things that would be beneficial to me. 10/10 services and management will be bringing my vehicle back!! read more

1st issue: Booked my appointment a week ahead of time for 11am for a TIRE ALIGNMENT (They did not take my car in for an entire hour) at that point I requested my keys to reschedule and the service provider said the mechanics where about to take it in, so I let them and the process from START TO FINISH took 4 HOURS What is the point of an appointment when I still have to wait in line behind everyone else plus I could've gone home instead of staying within the area for that time period had someone let me know 2nd issue: My car had scratches on the passenger side from the mirror of the car all the way down to the trunk, they were supposed to call me back about this 9/9/23 and never did 3rd issue: They checked my tie rods and steering rack and wheels Tie rods have play (okay whatever I'll take my jeep to the dealer) But I had just had my tires put on the previous day, WHY ARE MY TIRE WEIGHT FROM THE BALANCE MISSING, they wanted to charge me upwards of $60 for a balance that I had just gotten the previous day In conclusion: stay away from this place unless you want more issues than you came here to fix and to waste your time, in 4 HOURS they did: INSPECT A VEHICLE SCRATCH IT UP LOSE WHEEL WEIGHT WASTE MY TIME Never again read more

Erik at Firestone Lake Murray Blvd in La Mesa California was absolutely amazing. I got a light on dashboard, after calling dealership they informed me that it is a tire pressure very low. So I stopped at this location. I was welcomed by Erik, as if he was waiting for me. He asked about the reason of my issue, as soon as I explained, within a minute he directed me where to park, he proceeded to check them all- all of them needed attention and when I proposed how much: he said: " nothing at all, just have a good day and be safe" what a top notch customer service I received. I made an appointment to have my sway bar links on Monday for Wednesday at 10:00. On Monday, I specifically told the man at the desk what services I needed. One was to replace my sway bar links. Two, that the rotors on my car needed to be turned or replaced due to excessive shaking when the brakes were applied at higher speeds. The rotors were under warranty. Third was that I purchased a alignment policy and that I wanted to have the alignment checked. I returned on Wednesday at 10:00...I was then told they had to first inspect the car...I told the man that I wanted the links replaced and another mechanic had told me the links and the rotors needed work...I was told they do not turn rotors...I said the man on Monday did not tell me this... To make a long story short, after waiting over 2 1/2 hours I was told the links did need replacement...I was told my rotors were fine, which is wrong, and they wanted to know why I wanted my alignment checked. I was also told my rear brakes were worn and needed replacement. He started arguing with me about the rotors...I told him they were under warranty and reiterated the issues that I was having with the front brakes caused by the rotors...He just did not want to listen to his customers and was more interested in selling me rare brake replacement that I did not immediately need... Instead of ordering the parts needed so they would be at the store, they wasted my time...The mechanical service was OK but the customer service was terrible...I would not recommend this Firestone Auto Service to anyone. read more

YOUR TECH MICHAEL (02) CALLED ME A "FUKIN BYTCH". Is that how yall allow your techs to talk to customers? Did he think I didn't hear him? Because he said it right at me If I talked to a customer like that, I would be terminated IMMEDIATELY so it could never happen again I HOPE EVERYONE READS THIS REVIEW How utterly ridiculous. My drivers back tire was completely punctured and flat and this was the closes Firestone. I brought my vehicle here with my fleet information and there seemed to be no issues so i proceeded to leave. The clerk asked me for my number and wrote it down just to throw it away and tell me they couldn't reach me when i called to check status the next morning. That's just the beginning. The next day, I was informed that my fleet program isn't accepted and that i needed to take MY FLAT TIRE all the way to the Firestone almost 30 miles away, (although every other Firestone doesn't have this issue with the same program.) I get my manager involved and finally get approval for repair. I've attempted to call several times just to hear the phone continuously ring or sit on hold for 10 mins. Finally, after hanging up and calling back again, I demanded not to be on hold (again) and demanded a status on my vehicle. They ASSURED me that it wouldn't be a minute past 4:30. I asked several times, "Are you sure it'll be 4:30". They assured me not a minute after. It's a little after 5 pm, and I'm still sitting in the waiting area. If my coworker didn't pull off, i would have gone home and attempted again tomorrow. Now, I'm sitting here stranded while they take their merry time laughing and playing around in the back I will never bring my vehicle back here again. Not my work truck, nor my personal car. Never. Edit: when I came in to check status (this morning), they told me the oil change was already complete and they were just waiting on the tire. It's now 5:10 and their JUST starting my oil change Don't lie to your customers and be more respectful to their time. Had a low pressure tire (15 psi) in the passenger rear and brought it in to get a patch & plug. I had measured all other tire pressures right before coming here and the other 3 tires were at 32 psi. Made it very clear which tire the slow leak was coming from, they came back saying the passenger front tire had 8 psi in it and that they "fixed it". I told them that tire had 32 psi in it 5 mins before bringing my car in, that I never told them to look at the front tire, and they had no argument to prove why all of a sudden that tire had 8 psi (which is essentially undrivable). They said they didn't even look at the passenger rear tire, the one I came in for!! They also pretended like I had said "passenger front" instead of "passenger rear" when I dropped my car off. Don't go here! They'll make up stuff that is wrong with your car and assume you don't know anything based on your appearance. read more

So I have gone to this Firestone about 3 times now only because it's so close to where I live. I feel as a professional business that when you get an oil change everything should be explained to you in regards to if anything is wrong with the car, if there are any suggestions for the car and even if everything is ok with the car. This place does not do that. Every time I leave, I have to figure out if everything is okay with my car. So at the end of the day the representatives should be more customer service friendly and take the time to explain the services that were done, not just give you a piece of paper and send you on your way. I also waited for my car. In the mist of waiting for my car in the waiting area I hear conversations among a couple of the employees with cursing. Personally, I do curse yes, but there is a time and place for everything. These people obviously don't care about the customers in the vicinity. This FIRESTONE HAS TO DO BETTER. My son came here to get 4 tires he ordered last week. He goes last Saturday to get them have them put on and was told they didn't have them, they were at the Timonium store and had no one for to deliver them So they tell him to come back today,a week later. We drop the truck at 7:30 this morning. Its 5 and they still have not finished putting the tires on. The manager said they would be done in 45 minutes, then he went home. I don't usually post to Yelp, but felt necessary since Firestone refused to print my honest review of their services on their website... I scheduled an appointment weeks ahead of time to have 4 tires mounted and balanced on my car. I intentionally scheduled the appointment for first thing in the morning to avoid any chance of troubles with the install, etc. I'm not sure where the disconnect was regarding contacting me, but fast forward 6 hours later and my car is just being raised for the technician to begin work. Somewhere along the line **allegedly** the tire mounting machine breaks and only one tire can be mounted on the car and they won't be able to mount any tires on any car for at least 3 weeks. The tire install shop can't install tires... Mind you the one tire on the car that was mounted hasn't even been properly balanced. I get that equipment breaks and issues arise, but to be told 40 minutes before closing to get my car or I'm out of luck until the next day is completely unacceptable especially when the Firestone website indicates that closing is several hours later. No attempt was even made to help me schedule another appointment at another Firestone location or balance the one tire that had already been installed. For one final kick in the back of the head they had the nerve to try to charge me for not even properly installing one tire. Not even a half mile later the one tire that was poorly mounted on the car starts throwing a low pressure warning, the technician hadn't filled the tire to the proper inflation spec. read more

I made an appointment for the Rose dale branch on Yellow Brick Rd for 3:00 pm for an oil change and front end alignment and I was early dropping it off at 2:30. I made the appointment for 3:00 pm because I get off work at that time. I left the car and waited for them to call me for the pick up and they never did . So I called them and was told that my car was next in the bay. I did't get upset but I was a little annoyed, after all I had an appointment, but instead I waited another hour and decided to go back in and check up on the progress. My car had not been moved from the spot I left it in. I was really upset by this time and just left without getting anything done to my car. I think they were very unorganized and disregarding of my time. Why make an appointment if they are not going to be respectful of your time. My day starts at 4:00 am and for me to have to wait this long and still not get even the oil change is unprofessional to say the least, They need help maybe hire some more people or something. Oh they did offer to do my oil change at 5:30 and do the front end alignment tomorrow at half price except I have the lifetime alignment service that I purchased when I brought 4 tires from them previously . read more

First off, this Firestone has come under new management since some of the previous (negative) reviews were written, so they may no longer be as accurate as they once were. I was very pleased with my experience at this location--I have an older car ('01), so it is hitting the point where it needs some larger ticket items. This trip was new wheel bearings, alignment, tire rotation, and oil change. The work was done as I waited, even though certain parts had to be ordered from another location. Even though it was a busy day and the front desk was short staffed, the manager (Justin Bishop) was friendly, polite, and informative, regardless of how familiar customers were with car service and repairs. (I was there for several hours, so I overheard a lot of customer interactions, and I used to do some car maintenance myself, so I have a sense for what constitutes a basic or an advanced question.) I felt that my questions and concerns were addressed, and didn't feel that any services were pushed inappropriately. I had a clear understanding of what was needed for safety, what was a wise choice but not 100% necessary at that time, and what was purely cosmetic or optional. I also got a very competitive price, and the manager ensured that there were no other lower priced estimates (if there had been, they would have offered a price match). All in all, I'll definitely be back to this Firestone, even if it isn't the closest one available. read more

Very irritated. Service was okay but I came for new tires and they gave me an alignment that I said NOT to do and I had to pay for it. Now before you all say "oh well you needed one", my reasoning was because I had just paid $100 for one not too long ago because I was having some car problems and they said I could come back FOR FREE to get it done again. I needed an oil change and a tire rotation so I dropped my car off here since it's close to where I work. They were having a $24.99 special for these two services. I get a call later in the day at work from the manager Tom Hall and he informed me that the oil was changed and that I really needed 2 new front tires, they were bald. Now my car is only 2 years old with low mileage. I knew that the front tires were starting to wear some on the sides which is why I wanted them rotated but there was no one you could classify them as bald. I did out of curiosity, ask him what the price would be for 2 tires and I felt that his quote was too high. I told him thank you but just do the rotation for now and I wanted to check out other pricing. He said ok, that all services were done and I could pick up the car. After I got home with my car my boyfriend told me that my tires were clearly not rotated at all. I called the store and spoke with the manager Tom Hall and he told me...very condescendingly that no they weren't rotated. He told me that since my front tires weren't in the best shape that they were legally not allowed to rotate them. It was based on some tire law. No one I know has ever heard of this tire law including people that are in the tire business! I had servicing done at this location before and wasn't happy and I don't know why I went back to them. They are extremely condescending and try to intimidate people...especially women in order to make another sale. I will definitely be contacting the CEO of Firestone and let them know about the customer service at this location. There may be some good Firestone's out there but don't go to this one on Yellow Brick Rd!!! read more

NTB wouldn't even look at my flat tire despite the fact that my tires were purchased from them and I had a repair warranty because I arrived at 6:30 pm even though they stayed open until 8 pm so I came to Firestone on Yellowbrick Road instead. These guys not only stayed open later to help me but they stayed open an hour passed their closing time to make sure my car was taken care of! I cannot thank you all enough! Very disappointed. Left my car overnight because I had a 7am first appt. Called a little after 8 that morning was told my vehicle hadn't even been looked at yet. Whats the point of giving appt if they dont follow them. Irritated to say the least. Have another appointment that I'm going have to cancel or find a ride to. Management is always changing here. One of the employees stole my charger out my car like I ain't noticed so I confronted the store manager about it and they try a said I lost it but I knew that one of them took it because I was charging my phone on my way there. But it doesn't end here. Just yesterday I was in a rush and I didn't feel like driving to Towson to get my tires so I just went to the closest tire shop and ended up getting Firestone's tires. I worked up nerve to take my car back there and when I picked it up I found that my 3.5 to lighting adapter for my iPhone where missing. This time I just took for what it was and will not be patronizing in this establishment ever again. These are cheap parts that are easily replaceable so I'm not really upset I'm mostly sad someone would do something petty like stealing a 9 dollar cord out of my car and now I can't listen to my favorite songs I have on my phone until tomorrow. read more

Terrible technicians. ASE Certified? What a joke. I got a lifetime allignment from this place, everytime I go in theres always something "wrong" with my car which prevents them from doing the allignment. I went in exactly one week ago for an allignment and was told my left front wheel bearing was bad which I knew it was bad. I got it replaced and went in today to have them tell me my right hub bearing isbad too. Two things are wrong here: 1. Why was I not told last week? They told me about the left bearing which I had tested and had known about. 2. I told them not to fix the right bearing, got my car, brought it home, jacked it up and checked the right bearing. There was ABSOLUTELY NO PLAY AT ALL. Not one even a millimeter of play. Theres no ABS light, no noise at high speeds, and no play. I asked them why theg didnt tell me last week and he thought I was uneducated and didn't know anything about cars so he made up some crap about how if they checked it, it would put too much weight on the other side or something completely absurd. I purchased 4 tires and a warranty from them. One of the tires went flat. Took it to them to have it repaired and was told I'd have to buy a new tire and that it couldn't be repaired because I drove on it flat. The salesperson became very rude at this point when I asked what the warranty covered. Apparently the warranty only gives a discount on the tire. I decided I'd rather go somewhere with better customer service to get a new tire. read more

The worse experience in my life . I've been going here for 6 years and stopped going for a year because of the service is terrible. I recently went back to get an oil change and diagnosed test . I made an appointment for 10am . Dropped my car off and didn't receive a call , so I decided to call them at 5pm . They had not touched my car yet . ( ridiculous right ) . So they kept my car over night . The next day at 4pm I called them because once again I had not got a call from them . They tell me they couldn't give me a oil change because the screw on my oil pan is striped . And to fix it would cost 1,800$ . So I told them not to touch it and I would be there to pick it up . My fiancé drops me off to pick it up . I go inside to pay for the diagnostic test , my fiancé comes inside and says " you can drive that car , there's two courts of oil coming out of it ". So when I get outside the oil is out of my car completely. We go inside and tell the manager . He gets the guy who worked on my car and they go in the office screaming at one another . When they come out the manager looks at me and says " I don't know what to tell you " . I said " your gonna fix my car . When I dropped it off it wasn't leaking any oil and was here over night , then after you look at it and tell me you didn't touch it , I come to pick it up and can't drive it cause it has no oil in it . So he says we have to file a claim . So we file one with him ( the manager ) . My car sits there for 9 days , I don't hear from them so I call , he tells me he hasn't heard anything so he filed another claim . So after 20 days I finally get a call from the claims department to get my side of the story . Then 5 more days go by and I call the guy from the claims department and he says he's going over everything and will call me Tomar. At this point I am so pissed off because I've been out of a car for a month and they could careless . So he calls me back the next day and says they're not fixing it cause they weren't the last to do my oil change REALLY , that's has nothing to do with this situation. They messed with my car when they said they didn't touch it and I can't even drive it . UNREAL , now I had to tow my car to another place to pay to get it fixed . I had just moved to Maryland from Michigan and was super sad that my mechanic could not move with me, but I needed my brakes changed. To be honest, I called Firestone, because I know who they are and my family has had good experiences with them in Michigan. Plus, I really didn't know anywhere else to go and they were close to my apartment. This Firestone was awesome! They thoroughly looked over my brakes and explained to me (in language I could understand) what was wrong. They also gave me the write up of the inspection to let me know what else would need replacing soon. I went back to get the lower ball joints on my jeep compass (a point of frustration for jeep owners) replaced and they took the time to show me the actual parts that came off my jeep and what was wrong along with another part that needed replacement. I was really happy with the service and the fact that they remember me from the months earlier when I had my brakes replaced and that they took the time to explain everything. had brake problem. took vehicle in for diagnosis since brakes had been done at an affiliated shop. was told calipers were locking up. had them replaced as they were not replaced earlier. vehicle still has same problem as when i took it in and had their "expert" diagnose problem. called shop to tell them and was told my tires are bad! now, they took the wheels off the vehicle when checking the brakes. they put the wheels back on when they finished the job. AND we asked them to check the tire pressure before we left! the tires are in PERFECT condition! took vehicle to a totally different shop and was told ABS issue. light never came on or comes on except when you turn on the key before starting the engine, AS IT SHOULD. found an independent mechanic, bad wheel sensor is the problem! WOW! NOT HAPPY! read more
