The guys who work here are very nice and honest! They do the work to try to get an accurate history of the car in order to know what might need to be assessed. Then if they think something needs to be done they explain what that portion of the car does and why it might need to be changed to better run. It was very helpful for someone like me who knows basically nothing about cars. I ended up getting an oil change, new tires, and changing my coolant. Great service all around! This location isn't too far from me so it's very convenient. I love that you can make an appointment for your service. This allows me to wait in store while my car is being worked on. There's plenty of seating indoors and free Wi-Fi! Daniel and Crystal provided great service in my last visit and were very helpful in answering my questions. I appreciate the transparency and value for the services offered. The location is kind of difficult to access since it intersects a major cross street but there's plenty of parking available. And there's restaurants nearby within walking distance to visit in case you need food while you wait. read more

After getting quoted over the phone for two different types, I came in to get two nails out of my tires. Then after getting the assessment, the mechanic tells me I can't mix run flats and normal tires. I wish this were communicated prior to the appointment or I wouldn't have came. I think they should give a discount for making you wait an hour for your tire. The tires were not cheap, and a lot of other tire shops had them for less. If you can wait, I'd call around to other places. read more

These guys have been great, I've taken the car here at least 3 times now, last time they aligned my wheels and spotted an issue from a previous shop down the road. They use the hunter hawkeye elite alignment system in this shop now and it's spot on accuracy allows them to quickly get you back out on the road with silky smooth steering. They've also been quite good about other general maintenance items without trying to upsell everything like some other shops. read more

Competent and kind! My husband and I were traveling in our Ford F250 truck with a camper atop when the starter began to act out. We didn't want to be stuck out in the middle of nowhere, so in Raleigh we began calling around to all of the Ford dealerships. We were dismayed that noone had time to even evaluate it for over a week! We were referred to this Firestone Complete Auto Care center by another mechanic during our calls. The Service Specialist here, Charmeka Menefee, was terrific! She was kind, patient, and extremely helpful. The mechanic was not only able to evaluate the problem, but also able to replace the starter with a Ford-certified part the same day. Hello, I received a call that my car was ready for pick up. When I arrived to the Firestone on 5058 North New Hope Road in Raleigh, NC at 4:23pm, all doors to the store and bays were locked and the store and bays were empty of staff despite the fact that the store closing time was 5pm. My car is locked in the bay on a Sunday afternoon. We finally reached corporate and the area manager said there was a medical emergency with 2 employees which caused them to have to close the store early. I was never notified and there was no regard for arrangements so my car could be picked up. I further do not understand how as a corporate service center how a store can just be locked and closed randomly despite stated business hours. This is horrible customer service and the area manager was not remorseful and showed no initiative for us to get my car until he was verbally pushed to do so. read more

On July 07, 2015 My husband went into this location to get a new spare tire for my car. He got that, put it in my trunk and went on his way. August 27, 2015 I had the opportunity to use that spare. The second we put the car down we realized it was FLAT! Never had this happen. Its a brand new tire. I put air in it using my compressor, air is just hissing out. So I overfilled it hoping for the best and proceeded to the Firestone 5058 N. New Hope Road. I encountered John S. (The Service Manager) who was pleasant enough to use soapy water to see where the leak was coming from. Which It showed there WAS in fact a leak. He grew UNpleasant when I asked for a new tire. Its the right thing to do OR repair it for free. Besides this is my safety and the safety of my child we are talking about here. He refused. Saying you didn't purchase Firestone's "Road Hazard Protection" so there's nothing they can do. Why would a tire lose air in just a MONTH in the trunk? Oh Its corrosion they say, maybe the tire wasnt sealing to the rim. I said "You gonna have to bear the wrath of my husband. He's super pissed about this" He says, "Call him, I'll talk to him and say the same thing." as if it were some kind of challenge. He and my husband did speak, It didnt end well and John S. refused to talk further with my husband. I told him i wanted to speak to the manager, Rich, came out to speak to me and proceed to shift the situation BACK to John S. I told them to take the tire off, find out exactly what is making the tire leak, fix it etc. My husband calls back and says "there's a checklist attached to that receipt of the spare tire purchase. Whats checked off for Tire and Tire Maintainance"?" I saw there was nothing checked off. But they made sure I had washer fluid, thats for sure!!! they didnt even check off anything about the tire/tires. Oh there's corrosion, what corrosion, we'll see them later. I brought this up to both the Service Manager and the Manager's attention that a Robert Higgs(Technician) didnt do any double check of my tires. Good reason for you guys to cover your butts and just give me a new tire and shut up. The Manager walks away and simply goes in the back cleans the corrosion off the rim and puts a new tire on. Comes back in and hands me a receipt to sign and sends me on my way. We believe to this day that they saw corrosion on the alloy rims and ignored it, figured we'd be back in about a flat spare and they would bear the bad news that we didnt purchase the "Road Hazard Protection", Sorry guys, you have to pay us more money. But that plan backfired on them and so they gave me this jacked up tire. Let the record show this place is fraudulent and knows NOTHING about customer service and do not care for your safety as you are on the side of the road almost getting hit to put air in a tire that should of had air in it to begin with. I've had the worst experience of my life trying to get one tire. I had my car towed up there around 1 pm on Tuesday. I called and let them know it was headed up there. They told me they would call me soon once they get to inspect it. I called again around 4 pm to check the status of my car and they told me they hadn't had a chance to look at the car yet and I should expect a call soon. The call never came. Finally around 12 pm on Wednesday I get a call saying my car was ready. I receive my paperwork but they can't find my key. After 15 minutes of waiting they still couldn't find it. I left and received a phone call that they were going to tow my car to have new keys made. They said my car should be towed in an hour and that they spoke to the dealership and my keys should be made priority. I called the dealership and asked if my car was there yet almost an hour and a half later and it still wasn't there. I'm writing this post still without my car. Apparently tomorrow I should get my car back 3 days later for one flat tire. read more

My significant other and I originally went to Firestone Complete Auto Care to get an inspection and our rear brake pads changed. We ended up only getting an inspection because we bought our brake pads from another company. This was understandable as to why they couldn't put the brake pads on. While there, John called my significant other to the front desk and said that Todd would be more than happy to replace our rear brake pads if we came to his house. This made us feel very uncomfortable. Once the inspection was completed we went to get in our car to leave and we noticed that the hood release was completely broken. We know for a fact this wasn't like this prior because we went to a mechanic the day before to get an oil change and before heading to this Firestone location, we were cleaning out our car and noticed everything was fine. My significant other went back inside and told John what happened and he was on the phone the whole time and his response was "I don't know what to tell you." Todd's response was "we don't know what you're talking about." Then, they both changed their response and said we had to use pliers to open your hood. Then, they tried to say they would super glue it back on. I mean come on? I know we are women, but we felt very discriminated and honestly if we were men, this wouldn't have even happened. I am smart enough to know that superglue isn't going to fix it and if it does it is just for a short period of time. My significant other was very upset, so I went back inside to speak to John in hopes of them rectifying the situation. All I got was attitude from him. I demanded to speak to the manager, and was told that Rich Michie wasn't in. I then, said this was going to have to be fixed. Another employee of the name Shae walked in and kept laughing and saying he hated dealing with customers and didn't know how John handled customers all day. I then told Shae that this wasn't a laughing matter. Shae then started screaming at me calling me a bitch and telling me to get out of his store. He also called me a stupid piece of shit. He was in my face yelling and the whole time none of the employees did anything to get Shae out of the store or to calm him down. I then called the cops. The cops came there, and then the employees were changing their stories saying it was me who was yelling and that Shae was trying to protect them. The cops didn't believe this story however and knew they were lying. Tood, then said he would fix our hood release with JB glue. He said if this doesn't work, I will order and replace your hood released. I agreed to this; however, it didn't work. It wouldn't even stick while we were there as he was fixing it. So, Todd then said he was going to go inside and order the part and to come back the next day. I called the manager the next day to make sure everything was good to go and the manager, Rich Michie, acted like he believed his employees and acted as if he wasn't going to go by Todd's word of replacing our hood release. Rich even said our part was never ordered after Todd told us it would be there. I then called corporate. While on the phone with corporate, Rich called me to say the hood release was available, but upon corporate advice, I picked up the part from Rich and took it to a different Firestone location for them to fix free of charge. This is unacceptable behavior. As a women I felt harassed and discriminated. No employee whether be a man or women, should ever act like that to a paying customer. I can only give my personal opinion upon this review, but I would never go to this Firestone location at 5058 N New Hope Rd here in Raleigh NC if I were you! read more
