I found my car with a flat tire after getting off NJ Transit train. I called them minutes before they closed for the day. They told me if I brought car over, they would wait for me. I currently have taken my car back to them for the third time in two weeks. The first time they fixed it and I paid for the parts and labor (they're not cheap by any means) but when I drove my car the next day the engine light came on again. So I took it back again. The second time I get my car back it's filthy dirty in the inside and outside of my car. I was surprised to find it in that condition. I purchased my tires online and had them delivered to Firestone. The process to book an appointment was very easy online then I called and confirmed. I been to this location about 3 years ago so I was familiar with them. The day of my appointment everything was good. I did take a star away because it took almost 3 hours. But I put it back because I received 10% discount. I will definitely return to this location for service A few days later after having my tired installed I got an error message "Tire Pressure low" I took my car back and they made the adjustments with no problem or wait. read more

WOMEN BEWARE! My husband went in to get the tires checked and got a quote to replace the front two tires for $429 for the tires and alignment. When I came back with the quote, suddenly the tires were out of stock and the only available tires were $850 for the tire and alignment. I asked Marlon if there were any options in between $429 and $850 and he told me "no". The blatant "up charge" for women is ridiculous! I walked out and took my car to All Star motors in South Orange, where they quoted me $500 for two Goodyear tires plus alignment. read more

This place is so unprofessional! Its slow, inaccurate, and will give you false time frames. Two whole days they had my elderly father with disabilities come out there and wait until the dead of night to turn his excursion into three days of coming out there. These people have no conscious or concerns of other well beings. Its disgusting how inhumane the staff are. Terrible customer service, unreasonably expensive, unprofessional. I turned my car in to be evaluated last Friday, the Indian man otp gave me a ridiculous quote. I had gotten a quote from another mechanic who offered to come and tow the car to their facility. When he arrived to tow my car, Apparently Fs lost my car keys that same day, preventing the new mechanic that I sent there to tow it to their facility. Therefore my car has been sitting there all weekend until they majestically found the keys on Monday. My car was finally towed to the other facility yesterday (Tuesday) after 4 whole days of sitting there. The sad thing is Firestone never called me to tell me my keys were lost or anything, I had to call the other mechanic to attain this information. I was away for the weekend when all of this transpired, however if they would have communicated this with me I could have provided them with a spare to speed up the process until they found the keys. Instead they wanted to be sneaky because they were at fault. Ridiculous, it will be a week tomorrow and my car just began being worked on yesterday because of their carelessness and terrible lack of communication. I will never support this unprofessional business again, they have no empathy towards their customers, they're unprofessional, and they are literally robbing people in plain sight 0/10. read more

Have never had any problems with firestone. I usually go here or the Montclair location as does my family. They do a pretty good job with services offered and will go back to correct mistakes if something didn't turn out right, like a satisfaction guranteed. Rarely have I had any which is why I mostly go here. I also like the online scheduling which is a fast easy way to make an appointment for service. One great thing about firestone is they have coupons and deals for service both mailed and on their website. This actual location is nice. Its got a spacious waiting area with tv and coffee. The area is ok lots a fast food in the area and even then you'll have a slight walk if you go get something to eat while you wait. It appears a wide range of people come here for service and Firestone seems to be very good as far as chain auto maintenance shops go. read more

He paid for the service and left but the same problem he took it in for was the same problem he left with. Poor job on their behalf. I desperately needed new tires and made an online appointment one day to get new tires installed at this shop the following morning. I even paid online. When I arrived the next morning a half-hour before my appointment, I was told by the nice man that they had no record of my appointment or payment. When I showed him my payment confirmation with the time and date of my appointment, he kindly offered to install the tires later that day, which would not help me at all as I needed the tires immediately (before work). I had to scramble to find a different place to get tires installed that morning. The conclusion: Nice people but don't trust Firestone to help solve your problem; they will only create a worse problem for you. read more

This place is slow and a fucking scam. I took my car to these guys for a tune up because my car was backfiring in cylinder two and to install new tires.unaware to the mechanics I have a diagnostic scanner in my car at all times. Not to mention it took 7hrs to do. I get a call saying your car is back firing and the diagnostic tech isn't in. I tell him ok do the tune up. Upon receiving my car it was still misfiring and now saying there is mass air flow or volume air flow sensor circuit. I left but stopped at another mechanics on the way home . When I popped the hood we noticed the sensor was unplugged and the coils in cylinders 1&2 weren't changed yet cylinders 3&4 coils were new and the coil in cylinder 2 was left lose. The other mechanic felt bad and took me to get the 2 new coils with his discount and only charged me $20 to install. My car is now running like new again. This was done under the assumption that I would have to come back when his diagnostic tech was in and have to pay for the same job twice. This is so disgraceful and underhand especially in this time during a global health pandemic when a lot people are struggling without employment. I will never go there again . Horrible Manager, prevented proper resolution of my slow leaking tire. He actually told worker not to repair flat.

Pricing for tires are pretty ok. I just didn't like they took my car out for a joy ride. They dropped my top and didn't know how to put it back up. They had to call me and when I asked they all had their heads down and looked so guilty. I went in to change tires. Nothing to do with top. Ugh. You trust people and they will take advantage in any way possible. read more

Bamboozled!!!!! I took my car to this Firestone dealer for a oil and filter change, tire rotations and new windshield wiper blades. I arrived at 7:45 a.m., there were about 4 or 5 customers seated when I got there. The service person that waited on me told me it would 2 hours before my car would be ready and he recommended that I leave it and come back; they would call me when it was ready. At 12 p.m. noon (4 hours after I left) I called to see if my car was ready and was told it was in for the tire rotations at that time, they had a couple of appointments come in which caused my work to be deferred, but it should be ready in another hour. At 2:15 p.m., I called again and explained that my care had been there for 6 hours now and I needed it to go to work. I was told it still was not ready. Since I really needed my car, I told them I would come get it right away and would just pay for the work they completed. Imagine my surprise when I got there and saw that my car was the same place I'd left it when I dropped it off and was then told NO WORK HAD BEEN DONE!!!! THEY LIED!!! NO EXPLANATION was given as to why I was given false information about the status of my car. It is obvious to me that when I left my car, at their insistence, they worked on the customers that waited for their cars to be worked on first and figured since I was not there, the work on my car could be deferred. Businesses that lie to customers can't be trusted. I won't ever take my car their again and recommend if anyone goes there, to sit and wait for the work to be done!!!!! PISSED OFF!!!!! read more
