I didn't realize but they were closing just as I walked in because they shut down at 4pm on Saturdays. I mentioned that I was looking to get my IDP and the guy said to come on over and he would take care of it anyway. It was very nice of him and saved me the trip of coming back. I filled out a form, he took some passport style photos (which were free because of my AAA membership), and gave me the info I needed. Within 15 minutes I was walking out with my permit all ready to go and some personal tips on driving internationally in the countries I was heading to. It was an excellent experience.
