I read the reviews so I called to make my appointment (loads of issueswith online), despite calling the store number I've learned that it was transferred to a Firestone call center. I arrived 15 minutes early to be told by the person at the desk in the least apologetic way possible "I sent everyone emails to reschedule this morning, when would work for you?" Took about an hour, came back that we needed expansion valve and a pressure switch. Said it would take an hour to get parts and two hours to fix. It took two days. It cost $ 600.00. Drove off, the car started blowing warm air. Brought it back next day, they kept for another night, then stated it needed a compressor. It would cost another $1300.00. I stopped in here to get a new tire for my travel trailer. I have used Firestone service stores many times in various cities and towns. I travel constantly and live in New Mexico. I needed a new tire. I dropped off my wheel with the dust cover attached to the wheel. I know this because when I showed up to pick it up, the wheel looked different. I didn't even think it was my wheel other than my name was scrolled on the sidewall in huge letters??? These people are clowns. As I mentioned I'm traveling and camped in my trailer about 25 miles from this store. The gal in the store said she would call when it was ready. I anticipated that and had no concerns. The call was never made. I had to go into Mt Pleasant anyway the next day. I called before I left and they told me it was ready. As I mentioned, I walked into the store and saw a new tire on a rim that I didn't recognize but knew it was mine because it had my name on it in huge letters I could have read from across the street. I asked where the center part of the rim was and they pretty much just shrugged and denied it came in with it. The bozo technician was called in to question him about the missing dust cover. He denied it was on there and said I probably had it and when I find it " a written apology would be acceptable". No attempt was made to correct the situation, just pay and get out. The dust cover was not where I took the wheel off. I assume they threw it away, not a particular expensive item, about $12 on eBay. The problem is I have to drive back to New Mexico without it. The reasons I give these clowns a 1 are their lack of concern and any attempt to resolve my issue. No call to let me know it was ready and the sarcastic attitude of the bozo tech helped me in my decision to rat If this is Southern hospitality you can have the South. read more

Worst service experience. Took my vehicle in to rotate tires & and replace 1 tire (50,000 mile Firestone rated tire problem after 24 miles). Technician Ryan in his ineptness broke a tire knuckle, ABS sensor, needed to replace a ball joint & 1 other item). How does replacing a tire escalate to that level of problem??? Day 4 without vehicle. Matt & Shannon (front of store) tell a different story each time I call. Registered a formal complaint with Firestone Corp Customer Service. No response from Area Manager. This Firestone is about a 10 min drive from my home, so it's very convenient. I take my Infiniti here for tires, oil change, battery change and brakes. The technicians are courteous and get the job done as promised. They are always very busy but never reflect that on the phone. I recommend them and have been going here for years. read more

We called on Saturday to see if they could put new rims on our vehicle, they said yes bring it in and they will have it ready on Sunday early afternoon. So we dropped it off on Saturday and confirmed it would be done Sunday afternoon, called Sunday morning we were told it would be done between 3-4, we hadn't heard anything and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone so we went by at 4 it still was and we were told "yeah it takes like 3 hours and no one wants to do it, best case it might be done by the end of the day Monday." My daughter made an appointment for the front left tire on her husband's car to be replaced as it had the temporary spare tire. I took the car to Firestone & arrived a few minutes ahead of the appointment time of 2pm today. Went inside & told the man behind the counter that I was there for the 2pm appointment & gave him my daughter's name. He then asked how she made the appointment...in person, over the phone or online. I told him I did not know as she had made the appointment. Without checking he told me that online appointments were not " authorized" appointments & could not be honored & he was booked for the day. Since at the time I was unaware of how the appointment had been made I asked why allow online appointments at all since they felt they did not have to be honored. He really had no answer to that. I told him I thought that was not a very good way to do business & left the store. Talked with my daughter within the hour & she had booked the appointment over the phone. Will never use this facility again & would advise others to steer clear of the business as well. Took 5.5 hours to put a new tire on the rim while I waited. If they had told me an honest estimate, I would have made other arrangements. A few days later, we stopped by to drop off another flat tire from our other car (yes it was a bad week for us). There was a sign on the door stating they were short staffed and wouldn't take walk ins. It was after 7am, the time they were supposed to open and the door wasn't unlocked. Called them back 3 hours later and they say "oh well we thought you said 4 hours would be reasonable (a lie, no timeline was ever set), but now it looks like it'll be more like 6" FOR 1 TIRE?? I brought my car in for a vehicle inspection. Got it inspected. They said I had to get new tires. Got new tires. 4 months later needed new brakes, rotors, calipers. Got the fronts done. Then found out my back tires was loose or something wasn't tightened. Went back and got it inspected. They said I need an alignment (bc some piece "came loose"), two new back tires... I told them that I just had my car done there and that they probably didn't tighten something in the process. Then they called the cops and gave me a notice of trespassing.... I manager that gave it to me said I wasn't threatening him or aggressive. So cops came and kicked me off the property bc I was telling him that they didn't tighten a piece back... Claimed that under a full inspection they would not have "known" that I needed an alignment... when my tire sounded like it was about to fall off. Absolutely Amazing! My grandma and me were in the area for her doctor appointment and noticed wire showing in my front passenger tire. I decided to stop here to ask them to just put my spare on and the bad one in the trunk (please note: Im fully aware and capable of changing a tire, I'm just pregnant and have restrictons on lifting) They were so nice, said that was no problem but there would be a wait but we didn't mind at all! got home and my husband noticed I really just need to get all 4 new tires so a week later I called and ordered my new tires, happily drove a hour and half (there's like 5 more firestones closer to me but I wanted to go here) and waited again and got new tires, oil changed and a alignment. Wonderful, nice, professional people, would 100% recommend and will no doubt drive a hour and a half back if I needed to! They even went out there way to make sure my grandma had a chair to sit in while my tires were being done. It's the attitude that counts the most for me and they were outstanding! read more

So it is sad that I even had to do this but I would like to know how this business treats it's customers and hopefully if you read this review you decide to take your business elsewhere. First of all, we have given this business plenty of time to right their wrong but guess what ; they have not. I will try and keep this as short as possible. My son took his car in to replace a rim , mount 2 tires and get an alignment done on his vehicle. Work was done , but my son noticed when he was leaving the establishment that his left front tire air pressure was not coming up on his dash. The service person said give it some time and if it still doesnt work then bring the car back and they will take care of it. Well it didnt so he made an appointment and came back. They wanted over $100 to fix a tpms sensor that was bad. If u dont know where this sensor is; it is located behind the valve stem inside the tire. I called them and wanted to know why we were getting charged. All 4 sensors were working when my son brought the vehicle in ! Now one is not after he picked up the car and they worked on the tire and rim where the sensor is now not working. We went back and forth with no resolution. I even contacted their corporate office and was supposed to be contacted within 2 business days but guess what ??? Yep , no contact. The other issue was when we got our report for the alignment done , we only got one print out. You are supposed to get a before and after so u can see what happened. I asked for the before and after reports and still no reply from the person I spoke with. By the way , a sensor is $40 at any auto parts store but it is easier for Firestone to replace since they have the equipment. We will never visit Firestone again and I hope you now have information that helps you steer clear of!!! read more

I was given an appointment, arrived and was told they were hours behind. They did not call me. I was told to come back 2 days later at a particular time. I called ahead to find out they still couldn't take me. Finally, a 3rd appointment arrived. They started work 45 minutes after the appointent. They got grease stains on my tan leather arm rest and center console, left white lube on all four wheels after changing tires, and inflated new tires to 41, 44, 44 and 47 psi, when an 8th grader could read on the door tag that they should have been inflated to 33 psi. It's hard to imagine a tire dealer getting so many things wrong! Never again. read more

Firestone is the Best Tire Store in Mount Pleasant. Thank you Eric (Store Manager) I had a major problem with a set of Michelin tires & alignment for my 2016 Volvo from NTB - Mount Pleasant that I purchased a little over a year ago. I made a appointment to get into NTB this past Sunday @ 2PM to address concerns - they called me as I was pulling in to cancel my appoint because a tech called off. They had no appointments available for Monday. I contacted Eric at the Firestone Store in Mount Pleasant (Oakland Park) on Monday an he told me to come in at 9AM for a tire rotation, balance, and check for alignment. They discovered that the tires were improperly balanced, and had 50% wear on 2 tires with only 14,500 miles on 80,000 mile tires. The wheel alignment that I had paid for at NTB was bad,adding to the problem. Tires also were worn on the inside, and cupped because of bad Install at NTB. Tire sounded like I had 8 Ply Mud tires on a 4WD Pickup truck. I had the choice to go back to NTB, get an adjusted price on a new set of tires (If they could ever get me in and keep the appointment) and have NTB Install the new set of tires... and repeat my mistake. No way, it was time to cut my losses. So I asked Eric at Firestone if he could yank my Michelin's off, and install a new set Firestone's. Within minutes he had located a set of new Firestone's for my car, and said he would make it happen today. I went over and grabbed some lunch... next thing I know Eric is calling me to say my car is ready. Wow, what a pleasant surprise to actually deal with a professional like Eric, and a reparable Dealer like Firestone. Thanks Eric. You really over delivered. read more

We brought our Toyota Sequoia in to have 2 new tires and an oil change. We were called later that day and told the car needed new brakes as well. We told them to go ahead and do the brakes. They then called at the end of the day and told us they needed a special tool to put the new tires on. The car has over 200K miles and we have replaced the tires many times. We had never ran into this issue. We called the next morning and were told they were still waiting on the new tool to arrive. Later in the day we again called and asked when the car would be ready. We we're told 2:00 but we told them we needed the car back asap. We eventually picked up the car around 1:15. When we asked the service person what tool they needed we were told they didn't need a tool rather their tire machine was defective for the type of rims we have and they needed to send our tires to another shop. Since they lied to us about the tool did they also lie about the brakes? We will never know but we will also never use them again. BTW, neither new tire had valve caps on them. They have 0 pride and lie to the customer. read more

I stopped in yesterday and was told to bring car in this morning before 9 am. I returned at 8:30 this morning and was told my name was not in their system and they are too busy to service my car. Going downhill. It's been more and more difficult over the past two years to get quality timely service here. The last few times I requested an appointment they called back and said they don't have any appointments for several days, this time they said it would be over a week til they could take my car in. It's a shame, I've been a loyal customer to Firestone for over 15 years in the last three places I've lived. I've never been called multiple times and asked not to come in for an appointment. Upon arriving at Firestone, I was not checked in untill 30 minutes after I arrived because one of the managers told me to wait and had forgotten that I was there. We initially came there for an oil change and two front tires which took 2.5 hours to do. The manager convinced us to get new rods and an alignment as well because it was their deal day once a month on Sunday in which she said would be done by the end of the day ... It took TWO full days seeing as how we brought the car in at 10AM Sunday morning. We did not get it untill late Tuesday night at 6:30PM ... 30 minutes before closing. THEN it gets even better ... My car doesn't even start. I tried three times and the engine spurted and turned off. So immediately I knew there was something wrong with my car - and my engine and car was working perfectly fine. As a disgruntled customer who just paid $1046 for an oil change, two tires, and new front rods ... and two days later ... I want my car to be running... frustrated I told them that they messed up my car ... the employees reacted in a rude and unlike manner. Didn't say one word but got into my car and REVVED MY ENGINE ... HARD right in front of me. None of the employees or technicians told me what was wrong with my car took it, messed around with it under the hood, while angrily banging wrenches and I can hear this and see this right in front of my face. All of the employees were avoiding me so finally I came up to one of them to see if anyone knew what was going on. The technician TOOK my bottle of corosion spray in which I HAD BOUGHT sprayed it on my battery saying it was my battery because Lexus restart the whole system during the alignment and TOSSED my bottle out. I saw this .. I no longer have my bottle.. was not informed he would be using it. Once he messed up my car by letting all of the tools he use fall through the car which I had to get fixed today ... I tool it for a test drive and my check engine light was on as well as my VSC light after he messed around with it - AFTER the initial start up of the car that was my main source of info that they had FUCKED up my Lexus real good. So of course I turned around and said this car is not good to drive you guys fucked up my perfectly good lexus. Once they told me they couldn't do anything about it and I would have to wait another day basically kicked me out ... All of the employees were in the back parking lot...just avoiding me after they ruined my car. I took it to Lexus today and it turns out, it had NOTHING to do with my battery and it was in good condition. but ... 1.) the initial oil change they were supposed to do was not event standard. NONE of my fluids were topped. 2.) My Check Engine light was on due to the fact that they performed a FAILURE CODE on my system. 3.) My Air Filter Box was left OPEN and 4 BOLT were missing and the others were not secure. 4.) The roaring of my car while driving it as well as upon startup that I was concerned about was because they had caused an EXHAUST LEAK AT MY Y PIPE and GASKET! Which explains why my car didn't turn on and was sputting when I got it to turn on. 5.) MY SPLASH SHIELD was hanging loose ... because the technicians didn't put it back on properly after they had messed around with my car! MY FRONT SHIELD IS COMPLETELY DAMAGED because I had to drive with it hanging. 4 Days later and my car is still NOT working efficiently and it has taken days to resolve this issue. Visiting family and needed tires. I made an appointment in advance online, so all I had to do was check in. I can't wear a mask for medical reasons and was told I needed to wear one after already waiting in line, inside, for over 5 minutes without one.. there's no logic to any of this. Especially when the only staff member there wearing a mask was the man behind the counter and the rest of the mechanics were in and out of the same room I was.. ALL OF THEM WITHOUT MASK. I took my business somewhere else. And for the record: I understand wanting to keep people safe, but I won't follow protocol for a business when the staff openly is breaking the rules they are enforcing. read more

Absolutely horrible experience at this Firestone location. I went in to get some warranty work done to my car and then one of the managers insisted that I had this major coolant leak the entire time and wanted to charge me $400+ to fix it. I refused and told them that they needed to fix it and I was not going to pay for it. They did; however, when I got my car back, it was not running correctly. The engine was off and there was a speaking belt, so I took it back to them. They fixed all of that for free and then I got my car back again. Within 3 miles of leaving, my car stopped working and broke down on the side of the road. I called one of the managers and he had the car towed back to Firestone. Then, I talked to Rob--horrible individual by the way--and he said that they were "pretty sure" it was the fuel injector pump, but they were not going to work on it anymore because they were not 100% sure. It was an absolute cop-out. They just did not want to pay for it anymore and so they wanted me to take it to someone else and when I wanted Rob to clarify what he was saying, he snapped at me. He raised his voice and said "we are not working on your car anymore, you need to come get it and take it somewhere else." I hung up on him and called the district manager. The district manager was pretty helpful; although, all he was going to do was "talk" to Rob and he apologized to me. I told him that that was not good enough. That I had paid over $700 on the initial work and that I wanted the money back. He finally agreed and they sent me a check. This occurred only after he said to me, "I don't know what you want from me." Well, duh, you idiot, I want my money back... Long story short, I will NEVER take a car back to this Firestone and, if I can help it, I will NEVER take a car back to a Firestone and I will tell everyone I know not to either. Very bad experience, 3rd time, which is why we've decided to write a review. This visit was because one of our "Firestone" tires was flat and it needed to be repaired. Employee rudely told us "no" we can't help you, maybe another store can, you can leave your car for the day we might get to it. Employee went on to say we can't help you because the people ahead of you have appointments (there were 2 people sitting waiting/6 hours until closing). We have to make flat tire appointments? It's not like we expected to jump to the head of the line-its just that being this is a tire store, customers needing tire repairs should be expected. We went to another company, they were extremely busy at the time with many customers ahead of us and some with appointments. We were told it would be about a 45 minute wait which was fine because we were just glad someone could repair our tire today. However, to our surprise they not only gave us 5 star customer service before/after they patched the tire (found 1 nail) but, we were out the door within 15 minutes of check-in AND there was no charge for the service! read more

I feel like I have to dig deep into the details of every transaction I make with this store. (1) I have had tires put on where I have had to clarify every detail of the cost/price of the tire. (2) Most recently, we had a pair of tires put on my son's car. The tires had a rebate. We have now spent several hours over several months dealing with Firestone and the company offering the rebate and no rebate yet. (3) I had break pads put on my car. They make terrible noises and feel squishy when I apply the breaks hard. I took them back twice to have firestone check them. They said they were fine. When I took them to my regular mechanic to have them checked, his comment was "These pads will stop the car but that's about it. They are cheap and I wouldn't put them on my car." I trust my mechanic and have been using him for years. I regret having firestone do this work. (4) some friends of ours had breaks put on their car just before taking a trip. On the way home their breaks failed. It turns out that something was done incorrectly when the breaks were put on their car. read more
