I own a 2018 Ford Fusion. This establishment was a disappointment. I went in to get some tires done, which they did, but cracked one wheel. I went in multiple times to have them check out my wheel and tire to find out the source of the problem. Each time they told me it was a valve stem leak. So each time they replaced the valve stem but the tire was still deflating. Everyday I had to fill up my tire. So I go and get my tires changed at americas tire off Brokaw. They inform me that there is a crack. I don't have aftermarket wheels or tires. I have have stock wheels and tires. My wheels were fine before going to firestone to get my tires done. I don't recommend this location to others. I had an amazing experience with Americas tires off Brokaw in San Jose. I would recommend that place. Thank you. read more

One of the worst Firestones. I made the appointment the day before at 12pm for an alignment. Got there at 12 the next day & didn't get my car until 6. 6 hours for the alignment lmao. I then pick it up & only because I pointed it out that the paper showed it wasn't aligned properly, they told me "that was the best we could get it" & told me I needed new control arms when I literally just replaced the whole suspension/control arms/end links/bushings. Took them 5-6 hours to do nothing. I've been to a couple of Firestone's & they always leave it right. Biggest fake it til you make it employees, the people in the front don't know shit. I brought my 2019 Mazda CX-5 for a pre-sales "Complete Vehicle Inspection +". Among the results reported was "Front Struts Blown", with an estimated repair cost of $1200. I took it to another mechanic who said that the struts are fine. When I got the vehicle home, opened the hood to find the plastic engine cover was NOT fastened down, but simply laying on top of the engine. Further, the rubber engine cover mounts on the firewall side were missing. I found one of the laying loose on top of the engine, with the other one not to be found. In addition, a plastic cover to access the oil drain plug and oil filter was not only reinstalled improperly, but also missing one of the two screws. Needless to say, the technician who did this work needs supervision and more training. The inspection did properly identify needing a new battery and rear brake pads, which I already knew. While the inspection got these things right, for obvious reasons I do not plan to be a returning customer. read more

If I could give a "0" I would. I wasted my whole morning dealing with incompetent staff. The first person I talked with took a bunch of information, sounded like he was building a profile for me, and what tires I needed. I told him I bought tires with Firestone before, I need the same tires, I should be in the system. Couldn't find me, the car I drive, or the tires I needed, but insisted He would special order the tires. 3 days later I call back and speak with a different staff member. I tell her to check my profile, all the information should be there .... that there should be an order. She finds nothing, not even all my previous service I have had done at Firestone. I ask..."You are telling me there is no record of me in your system???" She goes on to tell me that the person who took my information is "Off today" ... she cannot check whether the tires were ordered. No call back to confirm anything, no records of all my service ... no real effort to correct the issue, just a prehistoric method of taking orders and hoping to pass-down or remember it after a busy shift ... good luck. She asked me, "Can you call back, we are very busy right now ... in which I grew more irritated and said, no, you are going to deal with me right now. She takes a bunch of information and we hang up on a promise that she would call back. She calls the next morning and tells me she cannot find the tires I need, she says .."We just don't have them..." in which I reply ... "You have to special order REMEMBER !?!?!?!?!" read more

My friend went here yesterday in basketball shorts, a hoodie, and a bandana covering his face for the staff's safety against Covid (he's healthy but taking precautions). The white manager told him "if you weren't a customer I'd totally call the cops on you." Almost 5 his later I called and was told that they hadn't even started on my car. When I asked how much longer she said end of day. Had I known that I would have not dropped off my car. If I could give zero stars I would. Word of advice Firestone. You should have said make an appointment for another day, which I gladly would have done. I would totally understand. Instead you over promised and under delivered. This would never have happened under the previous ownership. Also, no apology from the staff. It's actually a zero star but we are not given that choice. May 4th, 2022, my 18 year old son took his car to this location for a simple oil change at around 12 noon. Got his car back around 5pm, with four new tires plus oil changed. Overall he spent around $450 for everything including the oil change service and the four new low profile tires. They also recommended to have the oil pan replaced but wasnt that of a big issue because according to my son's understanding it wasnt highly recommended. There were very very little to no leaks at all prior to the service. About 17 hours after he got his car back, our driveway had a big spot of motor oil when he backed up the car. It was as if a huge dog had taken a leak on the concrete! Like I said, there were no leak, or any leak wasnt visible before he had it serviced there. That moment we found out of the leak I told my son to take it back to the location and have them explain why the oil is leaking very bad. I'd like to think they did a sloppy job, or that the oil plug wasnt tight enough. It had gotten worst than before the car even got its service there. It's just very odd and peculiar that not even 24 hours later all of a sudden the oil pan is the major issue because it leaked that much oil? They didn't even bother to look at the car to inspect if the oil pug is loose. But they were quick to give a quote of $1179.00 to fix the oil pan, and had assumed it was the issue. I am aware its not cheap because it sits next to the transmission, but they could have offered to do an inspection before giving a quote. Very very disappointing and unsatisfying!! As an out-of-state and long distance customer, I thank them for being flexible in being able to work with myself and the dealership to get a car a pre-purchase inspection for me. They were successfully able to take in the car, develop a quote, and return the car to the dealership. Ultimately, they completed the task and I was able to pay over the phone as well which was very convenient. The problems come up in terms of timeliness, honesty, and communication. Once the car was dropped off for the appointment time, I waited 3 hours before calling for an update at 1pm. Alex said he was unable to look at it yet due to being understaffed, which was understandable. He said he would look at it that day, but couldn't say when. I called again at 5:30pm, as I knew they closed at 6pm, and asked for an update. Alex said they had the car up now, and he would give me a call when the inspection completed. He estimated 30 minutes. At 6:15pm, I decided to call again since I hadn't heard, and nobody answered, as the store was closed. I was a little bothered that they closed without giving me any update. I decided to call when they opened the next morning. I called at 7:15am, to which I was told Alex had the quote ready, but needed an hour to turn the computers on, also saying he promises that he'll call me in an hour. I called at 8:40am looking for an update, and a little upset at not having received any calls and having been forced to continue reaching out for updates. I was told Alex would give me a call in 30 minutes. Finally, I called at 9:40am, and apologized for being a bother, but needed to hear the quote in order to book flights. Alex got on the phone and was finally able to share the quote. Like I said, at the end of the day they did their job and the inspection was at a very affordable price, but the customer service was lacking in communication and reliability. They are the worst people ever!! I should have checked yelp before going to this place !! I originally came here to get a auto inspection to see what was wrong with my car when I smell coolant leaking The advisors told me that it was the the hoses that needed to be replaced and cost me $500. Since it was close to home I just went along with it rather than shopping around. They told me that's the only thing that needs to be replaced and your car will be good to go. After a day, they call me claiming that the radiator is broken and needs to be replaced and if not , my car will not be drivable and they can't put back the hose ... so it's another $600 damage. I was already kind of annoyed at this point because it is out of y budget and not what was agreed before they started working. I thought alright fine. I got no choice but to pay and have them fix.. after it's done I paid $1200 and the car completely died on the freeway after 3 weeks of driving!!! I had to get a tow company to tow my car since it wouldn't drive at all!! I called firestone to render the situation and they told me that I need to pay tow to have the car go to their shop and they would take a look at it for a fee !!! At this point, the trust with this particular firestone was already broken. I had the car go to another body shop to get an inspection. They found that after they replaced the radiator, they didn't connect the hose back !! So the transmission oil was leaking the whole time and dried out the car! So basically hey f up my car and didn't take ownership of the situation ! Wouldn't refund my money back and chose to ignore the situation when I called. I told them that I would be reporting their business and they said go ahead -.-! What kind of junk place is this! Never go there! Customer service is horrible! And they do sloppy job ! read more

Bought new tires from ebay and had them shipped here with caradvise. Pleasant experience with these guys. The shop is usually very busy, so you have to drop off your car and pick it up at a later time point. I was able to drop off my car at 10:00am and pick it up at 3:30pm. tl;dr: followed through on 0/3 of the items they said they would. My tire was demolished while riding on the highway, had to put on the spare. The next morning I called in and got: 1. "I see you're under warranty, no problem we'll take care of you." 2. "We don't have the tires now but at 4pm we will. Come in then" I arrange for a early workday and drive over on my spare: 1. "What tires? No, we won't have them until (two days later)." 2. We make an appointment for 8am, two days later. 3. I drive back home on my spare, then arrange time off for work Two days later: 1. Meet at 8am, give them my car info, told them about the tire, repeated the warranty. 2. Ask how long it'll take and they said, "will be done around 9:30 - 10:30am, we'll give you a call when it's finished." 3. 11:30am rolls by, no call so I go and check on them... they forgot about my car and didn't even start on it yet. 4. 12:45pm (almost done T_T) they start billing me. I see they didn't include the warranty. "Sir, you forgot the warranty". Forgetting everything we talked about he looked at his computer and said I bought the tires in 2019 and no warranty. *Mega sigh...* good thing I brought my papers to show that last year (2020) they had to replace a tire since it also popped on the road. 5. 1pm I finally leave (5hrs later). Two key takeaways are: 1. They're unreliable. If you do decide to go with them (highly advise not to), make sure to double-check everything: if they actually have the parts, your bill, if they even remembered about you and working on your car... 2. I come here periodically to take advantage of their 'Lifetime Alignment'. Truly a great deal! I have always received 5 star treatment and am actually surprised by the poor ratings on Yelp. The ratings on the Milpitas Firestone website are more favorable. Although I can only speak for myself and the service I receive. The shop is usually always busy and parking can be congested but if your able to bring your vehicle during the week as opposed to the weekend you won't have as long a wait period. One particular time when I came to get my car serviced I told them I would probably need front brakes, the mechanic called me over to show me my brakes were fine and had at least another 10 months. His honesty was appreciated and saved me money. I have a few vehicles and each time I purchase tires (from a friend at AT) I always go straight over to Firestone to align the tires. Although it shows on my Yelp that this is my first review, I have been going to Milpitas Firestone for approximately 20+ years, so when I was about 3 years old (I wish, lol). I want to make sure they get the kudos they deserve. **Please note: Just some friendly advice, if a business offers television service (which I appreciate) please be vigilant as to what programs are on. Some of the shows were showing raunchy sexual content. Fortunately there were no children present but it's a strong possibility they will in the near future. I got my tires replaced here months ago and I brought my car in the morning and was told that it would be done by noon. They didn't finish until almost an hour until they were done so i didn't pick up my car until the next day. I came again to do my car rotation I made an appointment at 2, dropped the car off. I called around 3 to see when it would be available I was told 5. Came to pick it up at 5 and was told it's still not ready because they only have one technician working. This is extremely irritating because it messes up my plan for the entire day. I understand if it may be done later than expected, BUT WHY NOT JUST SAY THAT? Why tell me it'll be done at 5 if you clearly know you don't have enough staff to have it done by then. APPOINTMENT go online and make an appointment. It's super easy although you have to wait for a confirmation email that you got the time you asked for. I ended up having to call to change the time because my schedule changed and the guy changed it over the phone no problem. And when I showed up he had my appointment in the computer. I thought they open at 8am but I got there early before 8am and there were 2 other people in the waiting room already. SERVICE I asked the guy how long it would take and he said since my appointment was at 8am it's expected until 9am an hour long. I said I would go to Starbucks next door. At 8:36am I got a phone call that my car was ready. Nice! It didn't take a full hour like I thought it would. Came back to the office and got my keys. Asked him how my alignment was, and he said the back was a little off but nothing major. Guy wasn't overly friendly but he wasn't rude either. Seemed neutral, which is ok by me. INSIDE is a small waiting area with one small tv that was on. The floors are super sticky for some reason and make a squeek noise when you walk. OVERALL my experience was good, appointment made and rescheduled, and car was done earlier than expected and he gave me a call. I feel bad for other people who didn't have such great experience. I'll update my review if any of my future appointments are less or more than 4 stars. read more

I brought my car in during there twice a year big sale.I bought some well needed tires at a great price. Gilbert and Bernadette were very helpful in providing guidance on my choice of tire. Upon inspection of my car they were able to diagnosed a few issues that could have been very costly if they were not addressed. Their mechanic Quan discovered I had an issue with my thermostat and hoses. Gilbert and Bernadette kept me posted on the repairs. I was happy that they provided updates with the cost so I was not taken by .Also Quan discovered I had an oil leak, which could have been a disaster if not address. Thank God It was a simple fix. I waked in with a beanie, hoodie on and of course a mask. The female clerk helped me out who was really nice, and then left to go check my mileage in my car. I was using my phone silently waiting patiently, & The main white manager w/ glasses told me "you know if you weren't a customer, I'd call the cops on you." I have a life time alignment agreement with this location. My wife got the alignment check on the 19th because my front tires wore out twice as fast as the rear. Shortly after she picked up the car the check engine light came on. I plugged in code reader on the morning of the 20th and it reported a "Crankcase Ventilation System Disconnected". When I inspected the engine I found the oil fill cap removed and the car a quart low on oil that had blown all over the engine compartment. I also found a 30 amp fuse laying in the engine compartment on the opposite side from the fuse box. When I reconciled the fuses against the owners manual there was a 30A fuse missing. I do all the regular maintenance on this car so I am certain the tech messed with it. My advice would be to find a different shop, the quality has been questionable and now I wouldn't trust them with my little red wagon!! I will be posting a complaint with the BBB for this sabotage. read more

Keep in mind I came the day before to make the appointment with some rude ass old lady who had an attitude who clearly hates everyone that is a customer. I had made an Appointment on Sunday morning - the very first one once it opened and had asked for a slow leak to be looked at and fixed while we waited. Absolutely horrible! Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Came in about a month ago for two new tires made an appointment for 1pm and sat in the shop for over four hours! What is the point of an appointment? They are obviously understaffed and overbooked and don't care about their customers I complained and they gave me a discount so I decided to give them a second chance a month later when my husband needed some new tires and needed to have his air-conditioning looked at. He made an appointment for 10am. This time we just dropped the car off and went home. At 1pm when we still hadn't heard from them we called to get an update. They still hadn't even looked at the car and had no update for us but insured us they would call us in a bit to give us an update and an estimate. 3pm rolled around and we still had no update. We called again and got the same answer. At 5:30pm we had still heard nothing. We called again and were put on hold for 30 minutes. No one ever came back to the phone so we eventually hung up. When we called back the shop was closed. We now had no way to pick up our car, and they never even looked at it. The next morning we decided to go pick up our car to bring it somewhere else. When we asked what happened they gave the same excuse about being understaffed and showed absolutely zero remorse for wasting an entire day with our car. Do not take your car here unless you want poor quality work, apathetic staff, and low quality customer service. They are absolutely terrible. read more
