I brought in my Nissan Altima 2009 for an oil change. The final price was $71.75 because they said they applied a $50 internal discount, even though I never asked for that discount and it was never clearly explained from the beginning. I only brought a $5 coupon that they had mailed to me. What I did not appreciate was the employee's attitude when I asked about the coupon. Instead of simply explaining it professionally, he responded in a rude and condescending way, as if customers are supposed to understand how their internal pricing system works. Another issue was that nobody asked me what type of oil I wanted. I later noticed they used conventional oil, even though I normally use synthetic oil in my vehicles. Customers should always be asked before that decision is made. On a previous visit with my 2026 Hyundai Palisade, they also told me they could not reset the maintenance reminder because their system computer only worked up to 2020 models, even though the reset process is very simple and can easily be found online. The oil change itself was done, but the communication, professionalism, and customer service were disappointing. This shop was very straightforward. I didn't have the tools to change out my transmission fluid, so I brought my own fluid and they were able to accommodate. Please note: this place is extremely busy! I suggest getting a reservation or talking to Matthew via the Yelp app to make sure he has availability in the shop. I saw a couple people getting turned down because there simply wasn't enough time. Charge me about $100 just for labor which I thought was fair since it involves specialty tools. read more

Yesterday morning, I had trouble starting my car and every now and then it will stall so finally I was able to drive down to the nearest service station which wasn't very far. Matthew and Carlos work on my car had it done by 3:30 and I drop it off at 11:30 that morning so I was quite surprised thinking it won't be ready the next day (Saturday) it would have been a different story had I take it in today. Diagnosis was the crankshaft sensor and they also changed the oil that I request it. They are friendly and knowledgeable and do a good job at explaining what's going on with my car. Today I noticed my car struggled to turn on twice while doing errands. I think I found my friendly neighborhood mechanic. Matthew was professional, warm, helpful, and most importantly, transparent: he broke down what parts and services my car really needed and gave me a fair quote, which I agreed to, and the car was ready for pick up within hours. For context, I am a female who knows little about cars. I had gone to another shop earlier and they told me I needed a full service repair to replace all the fluids, rotors and brake pads on both axels, gave me a quote for 2.7K, and charged me a non-refundable $150 estimate fee on top of that. The interaction felt a little off and the quote too high, so I asked friends for a recommended mechanic, which led me to Precision Tune Auto Care. In comparison, when I spoke to Matthew at Precision Tune, he laid out a better strategy and recommended their oil change package (since my car was overdue for an oil change anyway) which comes with a maintenance inspection. We discussed what services my car really needed after the inspection, which was only a fraction of what the first store claimed (only the rear rotor and break pads needed to be replaced, for example), and the total came out to be less than 1/3 of what the first store quoted. PLUS when I asked Matthew if he knew anyone who could help fix the small bump on the hood of my car, he took a look at it, fiddled with it a bit, and fixed it. That's it. Free of charge, just because I needed help, just because he could give it. I'm not saying that the people here are Supermen and go around saving cars in need for free. They have a business to run after all! But I am saying that they're now my friendly neighborhood Spidermen of mechanics. My experience here has been that they went above and beyond to help me and my car out, and I am very grateful for them! Came here to get my brake lights looked at as all of my lights were not working. I had no brake lights at all! Came here to see if they can check it out and they were finished within maybe 2 hours. I went first thing in the morning when they opened. When it was time to pick up my car they had fixed the problem and it was the brake sensor that was the problem. It was 4pm on Thanksgiving weekend and my smog was due the next day and I had totally forgotten about it... I went to a few shops earlier but they were all closed for the holidays. I was originally headed to the smog shop next door and they were closed as well. I saw the smog sign on the window of Precision Tune and I asked my boyfriend to go in and ask if they had time for a smog. Understandably, they told us they weren't able to due them closing shop soon. We explained our situation and they said they would make an exception for us and do our smog! I was soo happy! We were in & out within 25 minutes and all the employees were super friendly and helpful. This used to be my go to spot for my partner and I for oil changes, but with the new owner/manager, this place has gone downhill. They scam "vulnerable" customers like women and elderly people who go in alone. They tell them they've found an oil leak and that they need extra services, I heard him tell the same thing to an old man and a young girl. Then he told me, another young girl, the same thing. I told him no thanks, and my dad took my car to another mechanic who said nothing was wrong with it and they were just trying to scam me. Plus they stole one of my bolts and replaced it with a random washer. Then my partner took his car for an oil change and they never changed his oil, he paid and they gave it back to him without doing anything which then caused the engine to malfunction since he kept driving it while still needing its oil changed.
