They missed a tire after waiting 3 hours!!! I had a fleet vehicle and came in to get the tires replaced. I came in to get a fleet vehicle worked on and asked them to update/replace everything that needed to be. They replaced the front tires but missed my left rear tire that had almost no tread left. This is after waiting about 3 hours. They pulled the car up and I went out and noticed they had not replaced it. I asked them and they said it did not meet the tire depth for approval. There's no way that was true and I should have had them measure it in front of me. Went to another tire store a couple weeks later who told me the tread was low enough to be approved for replacement. Another customer who was also waiting while I was there told me he had been there five hours for a simple tire change. I would avoid this tire shop and will not be back. read more

I made an appointment on Friday to bring my truck in Sunday when they opened to have a tire repaired.. I was told if I was there at 9 when they opened it would be done first thing and less than an hour. I made the appointment. I was there at 9 on Sunday and I was assured that it would be done in an hour, so I waited. At 10:15 it the truck hadn't even been moved. The employee on the phone was dishonest when he gave me a price for an oil change. He stated it would be $113 with taxes for an oil change. He did not state that that was the price that was reduced already from $129 by a $25 coupon. When I called, I had not told him that I had a coupon and was looking for the price of an oil change after deducting a coupon. By my calculations, the price of $113 should have been reduced by the coupon to around $80. After the work was done, the employee was condescending and mocking and told me the price was $113, and that he would not give me my keys unless I paid $113. I would NEVER have agreed to an oil change for $129 when Subaru dealership price was $69.99, Legendary $39.99, Provision auto $49.99. ( The employee btw told me that $129 was the going rate for a synthetic oil change). I should NEVER have gone to Firestone for any work based on their bad reputation alone, but now I know how dishonest they truly are. read more

Dropped truck off and came back two hours later and my truck had not seen the inside of their bay. Appointments mean nothing here and they are slow slow slow at getting any kind of service out of. Got to firestone at 7am with no other people here. Needed a flat fixed. Took 30 minutes to get my truck pulled into the bay, 20 minutes to get the tire off the truck and another 5 just to get the tire off the rim. Waited for more than 1 hour and 15 minutes before my tire was fixed. Absolutely no care in how long it takes to get a simple flat fixed. read more

These dumb @$$es couldn't mount standard wheels and tires. Kept my vehicle all day, called me at the end of closing to tell me it couldn't be done. Mind you it's an 11.5" wide tire on a 10" wide wheel ABSOLUTELY normal. No stretch. Not only that but the moment I pulled in they were super rude!!!! I wouldn't go to them if I were you. Place is garbage. We took it down the road and the tire shop laughed and said wow, thank them for being stupid and allowing us to get you as a customer. I called about a vehicle inspection. They told me an hour. Came in to the store. After an hour and 15 min, my vehicle had not been touched. I asked the guy about it. He went into the shop and told a worker to move my car in to the shop. He came in and told me 10 minutes. 45 minutes later, I got myself in line to go get my keys to leave. When I got to the front, he's like, hey you're all set... No apology, no nothing. While I sat there for two hours, I heard the associates give outrageous quotes to many potential customers. Be careful here. I dropped off a car for a second opinion on a leak and an quote. They confirmed the leak and quoted me $500 more to replace the rack and pinion. I brought my 2011 Chevy Silverado in for some brake service, oil change, alignment, and a couple of other things. They found I needed some additional repairs so I agreed for them to proceed. Upon picking up my truck the next day, I realized that the brakes were not nearly as responsive as when I first brought it in for service, the brake pedal compressed an additional 3" of travel before stopping. After returning the first time for them to make corrections, they fixed the brake issue but I ended up having to bring it back again because the alignment was off and the truck was pulling to the right slightly but also the steering wheel was clocked -2 to -3 degrees. After correcting the alignment on the 3rd try, the mechanic told me he tested the alignment on their system 3 times, and each time he got a different test result and said they need to calibrate their alignment system. If they let something as critical as alignment go unchecked or calibrated, what else are they skipping or neglecting? How many other customers have had their alignment done by this system that needs calibrating? I also needed to get my vehicle inspected but they said their inspection systems were needing service and they wouldn't be able to accommodate me. Again, there seem to be a lot of things wrong with systems and tools at this shop, and apparently, adequate is good enough to turn customers over and move on to the next one. Everything started out ok and then my 11AM appointment was gonna take until about 1PM. Alright, I'll just get it later... I get a call around 1 saying both of my Tpms sensor bands are broken , which is surprisingly coincidental that 2 of 4 are broken, but what do I know... right?!? They assured me they didn't break them (funny the amount of tires I've replaced over the years this is the 1st time a band has broken let alone 2 on the same day.) Anyway, they order the parts. 51.99/each. Talk about rip off. I asked for the old clamps to be put in the car when I picked it up. Had to go back inside because suprise suprise directions aren't clear. Nobody was inside so I waited a few minutes and then the girl walked into the bay, we made eye contact and then continued to keep walking. So i made my way through the wall of tires (social distancing) knocked on the glass until she came back. Finally got the parts and was on my way. Everything should be set and done by now. I paid (overcharged) and when I get home I noticed all of my valve stem caps are missing. At this point this experience was so frustrating its comical how much they suck. To add to that they said my alignment was "good" HAHAHAHA. I know the alignement is off for a fact. The aftermarket rear suspension has not been to an alignment shop yet (that's my next stop) oh yeah, and the huge fact my steering wheel is crooked. Another sign that this shop isn't only unethical on their upsell but also not mechanically inclined. They recommended I get their lifetime alignement... but mine is good....so I'm confused. What it is?!!? Go through the reviews. You decide for yourself what is acceptable. I did not read before coming here and this is my 1st and last time. Didn't get to check the balance at speed, because of the rain, but it seems to be ok. 1 star because my wheels havent fell off.... yet. Tl;dr -Got tires. -Unreasonably long wait time for appointment -Questionable maintenance costing additional $103. -Poor customer service at desk. -Go somewhere else, anywhere else. This is the worse place to take any vehicle. they try to sneak charges on you hoping that you do not question them and when you do they try to brush it off like a mistake with some bull crap excuse. They tried charging my husband for an extra 20 quantity of oil which didnt work with me as i looked over the work order sent to my email as soon as it came in. Also did a tire rotation and when driving off it was not balanced correctly, went back and they tried to tell my husband to take it to Discount tire and he told them hell no and had to argue with them to get it done correctly. Typically wouldn't write a review even for bad service. The fact that I'm writing one tells you how horrible of service you get from this place. I would never take my personal vehicle here. The only reason I went to this place is because it's a company vehicle and they have a national account with them - wish I could get that changed. From the manager down, this place is run like a like a dump. Routine maintenance with appointment took seven hours (oil change and tire rotation), but what's worse is their dishonesty. My husband has wondered for years if Firestone actually rotates your tires when they say they do. Yesterday he marked our tires to make sure he would know the tires were rotated, and they were not. When speaking with the attendant, he said they rotated the tires. When my husband pressed him, he admitted they had "forgotten " to rotate them. I called Firestone when my husband returned home. They would not give me a manager to speak with and wouldn't even give me a manager's name. I left my name and number for a manager to call me today and did not receive a call. Trust is the most important aspect of an automotive business. Without it, a customer cannot be assured their vehicle is being taken care of. I stopped by Firestone this morning to have the air pressure increased in one tire. I arrived and sat, and sat as numerous employees moved about. NO ONE acknowledged me. I finally got out of the car to find the pump to do it myself. As I roamed aimlessly about the edge of the stall, no one said anything to me until I asked for the pump. I was then told, that they had other customers and would get to me. My response was; when? No one had even acknowledged my presence. By this time, it was OBVIOUSLY that I was being racially mistreated. Instead of someone trying to diffuse this situation, the employees decided to verbally gang up on me; telling me to go away, get back in my car, calling out my plate and advising that they were calling the police. I was so upset, I could have had a heart attack right there. I just layed on my horn and then drove off. Discount Tire wasn't open and my tire is still low. Two weeks ago I bought a Jeep Renegade from a dealership and in the past few days I've heard some squeaking when I hit the breaks. Concerned, I called Firestone and asked how much it would cost to have them check my breaks out. The attendee told me there was no charge for a break check, which I thought was pretty awesome and replied I'd be there soon. I dropped my car off at noon and by 3 o'clock I hadn't heard back from them so I called- car is ready to be picked up and as far as they can tell my car is in perfect condition. When I arrive to pick up said car I am told I owe $21.99; confused, I tell him that when I called they said it would be complimentary... the attendee then tells me they checked everything and that's a $21 charge. Annoyed, because it is a new car and I didn't need them to "check everything" I tried to explain how I called and the attendee didn't seem to care. I left feeling like I was scammed out of my money. I can't help but think if they treat customers like this when there is nothing wrong I'm worried how they treat people who actually have car problems. Won't be back and don't recommend. read more

I went to Firestone today for a replacement tire as my tire was audibly leaking air and fast. I limped it there on 13psi and asked to put my car up on the lift/in the air to take the weight off the tire to protect my wheel etc. A guy guides me in then tells me to stop. He walks away and talks to 'the manager'. Then, he refuses me service because they don't carry the tire size. Then it's we're refusing you service because of the make and model of your car. Then it's we're refusing you service because of your wheels. Then it's we're refusing you service "because your car is worth more than the shop". I ask for the Manager who is refusing me service and was told that "he just left". So they left a female stranded with 10 pounds of air in her tire. I've contacted your corporate office. So, I my husband was trying to be sweet to get new tires for my car. He came in on a Sunday to buy tires. The tires for my car had to be ordered and could be put on that day. He ordered and paid for the tires. All that was needed, was for Firestone to call the next day to let us know the tires were in. My husband never received a call to let him know the tires were in the store. So I gave them a call and asked about them. They could not find the paperwork from the previous day when they were ordered and paid for. After several people I talked to they finally found the invoice that shows they had been paid for and ordered. I then made an appointment at 3:15 to come in to get the tires put on. Well you guessed it, when I got there they once again cannot find the paperwork or even my appointment. Luckily they actually did order my tires and they were at the store. Since they had no appointment for me all the bays were full. I had to wait over 30 minutes for my car to even get inside the garage area. It took one hour and 45 minutes for them to put four tires on my car. They were polite and I guess they did a good job of putting tires on my car. Absolutely we can handle this and as proof, the Manager Steve personally worked the tire install on the wife's rims - ensuring his word of not a scratch of any of the rims, during the install. It took weeks for it to ship to my home in Texas and when I went in to the Texas store they refused to honor the warranty without the tire. I don't usually do this but after 3 trips and it's still not right! The best advice I can give is you need to be VERY CLEAR on what you would like to have done. Don't assume they know you want a simple oil change, and so on. Because it's not that simple at this location they have to many people and your request does get heard. I guess I am just tried of coming here and coming here only to find something new has happened. I will say after Bringing this up to management they did make everything OK and I do continue to use their services. They are doing the best I can. This is the worst place ever. Everything about Store # 356264 sucks. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I dropped my vehicle off for a diagnostic check. I called the store a few hours later to see if they could put back the plastic bottom under carriage that had dropped. I got the shock of my life when Benson the technician on the phone told me to do it myself all because I said i knew what I was talking about when he tried to give me some BS story on how involving putting it back would be. I asked to talk with the store manager. Allan, the manager came on the phone. He was equally as rude and unhelpful as Benson was. This incompetent manager had no interest what so ever in resolving my complaint. A bridge to nowhere. I realize why Benson can afford to be rude to clients. Fish rots from the head first. I got a call a few minutes later informing me my vehicle was ready. Eddie, the service advisor was just as rotten as Benson and Allan. One would think at his advanced age he would have some wisdom. Sadly, not an ounce. To add salt to injury I was told they were unable to do the diagnostic check because the computer was not picking blah, blah, blah. Mind you they had my vehicle for over three (3) hours. They made the decision not to be of service. I cannot help but wonder how many other clients have they treated this way. Heading from IL to Galveston Tx for vacation started hearing grinding and knocking like something was falling off our car, luckily we were within a mile of this Firestone. They were extremely busy and at first said they Wouldn't be able to get to us in until the next day. We explained our predicament and they said they would look at it. Let me tell you these guys were suer courteous and professional. They checked out our car and recommended what needed to be fixed.
