Today of my appointment, scheduled for 1:00 p.m., I was told the service would take between 1 to 2 hours. However, it ended up taking over 5 hours for my vehicle to be attended to. This delay caused significant issues for me, as I had carefully planned my time in order to return to work. Because of this, I lost an hour of work and had to pay for three Uber rides since my truck wasn't ready in the estimated time. Additionally, when I asked about my truck, a woman responded unclearly and unhelpfully, saying that if it wasn't in the front, it must be in the back. My truck was in the back of the building What frustrated me the most was that, even though I had a scheduled appointment, they left my truck for last because they "had work from the previous day." I find this extremely disrespectful and poorly managed. I do not recommend this place, as they don't respect their customers' time or honor scheduled appointments, even if you show up on time. read more

These people take forever to do anything and they give you shorter ETAs then what they actually are. I came in for a simple tire fix and they told me it was going to be a 2+ hour wait. But previously, when I first got these tires they gave a 2 hour wait and actually took almost 5 hours! What is this? I see the A"techs" just there walking slowly and mostly staring at each other of at the vehicles, with no sense of urgency. This is unacceptable, the only savings grace for this place is the deals and sales they have in tires. But its almost not worth the money in all honesty. This is probably the WORST service place. They told me it would take 2 hours for an oil change. Who takes that long? 5 hours later and my car still hasn't been moved from the parking space I left it in. This is a sad place for an establishment and I recommend you never use this place. I've never seen a dirtier restroom/waiting room and the staff walk around doing nothing the entire time. I wish I could give this place no stars. read more

As with most businesses in this human landfill of a city, this business only exists because there isn't enough functional competition to put it out of business. As is par for the course in Laredo, it is under staffed and poorly managed. I'm used to pulling into an oil change location and being gone in 20 minutes. On more than one occasion this Firestone has needed to keep my vehicle over night to perform an oil change and alignment. This is even more ridiculous when the vehicle was dropped off FOUR HOURS prior to closing. On top of that, I have lifetime alignment package through Firestone, and on multiple occasions, I couldn't get the alignment completed because there was nobody on staff or scheduled that day who could perform the service. During our most recent experience, I asked that a brake lightbulb be replaced. Not only did they hold the vehicle over night to complete minor maintenance, but we picked the vehicle up after it had been open for 3 hours and the bulb hadn't been changed. So they had the vehicle for 7 Hours during working hours and couldn't get an oil change, alignment, and brake lightbulb changed. In most other functional areas of the country, this would be deemed unacceptable, but it's Laredo, Texas; where progress goes to die. read more

How do you think how much time it takes to change two tires? I thought one hour at most, but not in this tire service. Here it was done in 5 hours !! Employees of this tire service do not want to work (they walk lazily around the shop), they are not at the workplace all the time. Awful quality of service and high prices. Worst place I have ever been to. The manager is disrespectful and rude! I ordered a tire and he told me it would be there three days later when I went to go get the tire it was not there and he told me that he would put a bigger tire on my car and it would be fine until I asked him what it would do to the other tires and he said it would mess them up. I highly recommend that you do not go to this fire stone for any services on your vehicle. The sales person at the front counter is very pushy and they try to sell your services that your car may not need I went in for a basic oil change and I got a call a few hours later stating that several other services needed to occur to my vehicle. They try to scare you and selling you the services. Again I recommend going to another place maybe discount tire or maybe go to Walmart to get your oil changed. read more

I've always used this firestone for all my trucks service needs. (For over 5 years mind you) Every single time there has been a bit of a delay, even with an appointment, which I've overlooked because of the prices. Today was the last straw. I was told my trucks oil change would be completed by 1:00 PM. I dropped it off at 10:00 AM. So I arranged for transportation and was fine with it. I called at 1:00 PM to verify if my truck was ready for pick up and they told me that I was next in line. (Okay not unusual from the usual delays). I show up at 4 PM to pick up my truck and it STILL HASN'T BEEN SERVICED YET. This is the last time I use this business. read more

The worst service ever. I went to change the brake pads and calipers, when I took the Jeep, it was braking very well but it was time to change the brake pads they are already going for $1,900 dollars because apparently, they are still finding "broken parts". It's been 5 days and they cannot make the brake pedal fall back into place, mediocre service and their answers do not satisfy me as a customer. I rented a motor vehicle for a few days, took it back to the rental company another expense on top of what they are already charging and I took the rented vehicle back to the rental company and my vehicle has not yet been delivered to me. I go twice a day and no answers, they say they are working on it but every time I go my vehicle is parked and nobody is working on it. read more

I took my car last week there for a radiator flush. They took about 45 minutes to tell me it was my water pump was leaking and that was causing my thermostat to mess up. They couldn't fix my thermostat because they needed to fix the water pump first. Mind you the water pump in my car is a year old) they were going to charge me $1,286 dollars for all those repairs. So I took it to 3 other mechanics to see if my car had a "water pump and thermostat" problem and guess what, THEY ALL SAID IT WAS GOOD. My car has been running fine all along. Imagine if I would have paid all that for nothing. It would be a shame! NEVER AGAIN going there. read more

If you do a full diagnostic tests that cost $100 make sure they can fix it before they run the test because they couldn't fix the problem they found with my car. In other words ask what they can repair before running a full body diagnostic test read more

STAY AWAY! I dropped off my vehicle at 1:20 pm and was told there was not a long wait to get my AC checked so I said I'll leave it here and pick it up later so you can go ahead and rotate my tires and perform oil change as well. At 3:30 pm I call and the one female person they have in the front answered and stated my vehicle was almost next for AC check and that's why I haven't been called yet to let me know what needs to be done . I asked has the oil change and tire rotation been done ? She said yes . It's 5:15 pm now so I get someone to drop me off already because something must be wrong since I have not gotten a call . Guess what ? My vehicle was parked exactly where I left it at almost 4 hours ago . Nothing at all had been done yet . Absolutely unacceptable . When I called at 3:30 pm she could at least have told me the truth so I could have found somewhere else to go . Still she says if you wait a bit we can have them do that and you'll wait like an hour . Yeah right . Can't get it done in 4 hours and all 3 services done in 1 . No thank you . Tire rotation at Discount tire in about 30 min and oil change, car wash with AC recharge at grease monkey in about 1 hour and maybe 15 min with outstanding customer service at both locations. read more
