I scheduled an oil change for 2/27/2026. The price they gave me was good. Later they informed me they could not do the service due not getting the plug out. They said, in order to do an oil change, they would have to replace the oil pan, which would cost over $500. They said that the plug were stripped. I left there and went to the place that did the last oil change. They replaced the plug, cleaned where the plug went out completely, changed my oil, and put in a brand new plug, and I only had to pay for the oil change, which was $60. Needless to say, I don't think i'm gonna be going to that firestone again. I also called corporate after I got home. And they were very passive and trying to understand what it was. Wouldn't change our tires from all-season to winter tires even. Claimed that "we don't have insurance to change over tires if they are used tires." I have never had a tire place not switch out tires if we offered to pay no matter what brand we had or the age of the tires. What tire place can't switch tires from one to another if we pay for a service. I guess I won't ever get my car serviced here. A morning wasted going to this place. Belle Tire, Big O, CaRx, Walmart, and Town Faire tire never had any issues. Don't waste your time and go there instead. read more

Took my truck in for chipping noise. 3hours later, was told " they aren't just going to throw parts in" because they had no idea what to replace. Left and went to pep boys. They replaced the water pump and was on my way! Thanks pep boys, still the best! read more

My car battery died due to being old and coupled with the drastic snow from last week. I needed a new battery fast. After calling different locations, this was the only available to help place a new battery and recode my car. Within an hour of dropping my car, all was fixed and ready to go. I have been going to this Firestone since I was in high school! They have always been so helpful and nice when I need to get my car checked on. This time Dave stuck out to me. He was so friendly and his customer service was amazing! He's really good at what he does and makes you feel special because he remembered my name. Haha! I came in for an oil change and they inspected my entire car. He was great about informing me with what my car needed for the winter and I took his recommendations. This firestone works so fast! They will have your car done in and out no problem. Pros Great service Friendly In and out Coffee in the wait area Communication is great Cons Location is kinda far since I live downtown but not a huge problem. Fleet company called them first to see if they could fix my tire that afternoon and was told, no problem! So I get there and the manager who takes my tire out of the trunk said immediately..."Nope! There's side wall damage. You've hit something on the side. There's also a big cut in the tire so you're gonna need a new one." How ironic that the car only has 5000 miles on it, also I've never hit anything on the side wall as I'm pretty sure I would've remembered that if it happened. Anyway, despite his negativity I leave the tire for the rest of the afternoon, as I'm told the "technician" is too busy to look at it now. The next morning (I assume) the technician calls to tell me that, yes indeed there's a problem with the tire and they cannot fix it however they also do not sell this specific brand of tire so I will have to come pick it up and take it to another store that does. So this I did, beginning day two of the flat tire saga...however, that is a story for another review. Fast forward and eventually after arriving at tire shop number 3 (also day number 3) I'm told that apparently this store didn't even remove the tire from the rim, as if they did they would see that the tire was repairable and side wall damage=some discoloration and said damage was nonexistent. Use this information as you will, as I've already driven 350 miles on repaired tire and no issues whatsoever. read more

Headed from Columbus, OH to St. Louis with a stop in Indianapolis, and wouldn't you know, not five minutes from the motel, my tire blows out. After spending hours and heading to three different places with no luck, Firestone had the right tires for my car in stock, and the staff was super friendly and helpful! Not sure what's going on, but they want $823 to change plugs, replace a manifold gasket and clean the fuel injection system. They want $92 for the gasket alone and $25 for "shop supplies" a spurious additional charge. Time to find a new shop. read more

We have used this location before but now during Covid their service seems to be suffering. Firstly- store opened late (about 15 min). Despite my having reserved service for AC and brakes they did not have a technician available to perform this service. We were not called when car was done, nor told that store closed at 5. When we picked up car it turned out alignment was done incorrectly and steering wheel only pointed car straight when it was turned about 20 degrees to the left! We brought it back next day and now it is still a few degrees to right- but at this point leaving well enough alone! read more

Had a tire surprise this morning and luckily was a few miles from this location. Krystal was the desk attendant and she was excellent! When I arrived she had a very difficult customer on the phone and she was consistently professional and polite while trying to help him. I was there just a little over an hour while waiting for my tire to be fixed and I was very happy to learn that since I had Firestone tires on my car from a few years ago it was covered by warranty! Horrible!!! They had my car for two days to "fix" issues with my check engine light. Price...$1200. Check engine light came back on the next day. Took it in today and waited 5 and a half hours for them to "reset" it. 5 hours later, my light is back on! I will NEVER go back! read more

Got there right at 7 am. The person working was immediately rude, stating I would need to drop it off and he didn't have a technician for another hour. He seemed put out that I would come there first thing when they opened. Not a good experience. I would have been fine dropping it off but the attitude was unnecessary. The manager guy at this Firestone is super helpful and just plain nice, not something I get a lot in Indianapolis. Of course, being Southern, I probably have too-high expectations. Thank goodness for this shop and the wonderful staff members! My car had been making a rattling noise for a while. I took it to a different place and they said they didn't see anything wrong with it. Then my car wouldn't start after work on Friday. I waited for my boyfriend to come pick me up, and we were able to get the car running just long enough to roll it into Firestone's parking lot. I expected to leave it there overnight and to talk to the staff about it on Saturday morning because we arrived just after closing time. However, Jason (service manager) said that they were happy to take the car in so it could be looked at the next morning. The next morning, Jason gave me a call and let me know that the compressor was broken, which lead to other issues with the car. He was extremely empathetic with me because it was going to be an expensive repair (compressors are generally expensive, no matter what shop you go to). He explained the issues to me thoroughly. He let me know that he could have the repair done that same day if I decided to have it fixed. I agreed to have them make the repair. I picked it up that afternoon and the car runs perfectly! It starts up right away, it runs smoothly, and my AC works for the first time since I've owned the car! Having to spend a good chunk of money to fix a car isn't always fun, but it is a fact of life. I was grateful for Jason and his team. I fully trusted them with every penny I spent and they did a wonderful job. This place will be my go to place for any car needs from now on. read more

I've been here a few times and no issues. This time I bring my tire for a flat repair and I was told that it didn't have enough tread to repair and when I looked at the tire and notice the tread was above the tire wear indicators. The service manager stated it wasn't repairable because of where the screw was located. She said it was in a non repairable area and I told her that is a repairable area and went back and forth for 30 mins and ask for documentation showing it's not repairable. She printed some stuff that proved it was in a repairable area and she still refused to repair it. read more

Charged us over 2k for unnecessary repairs and the car was worse after getting it back. They took it back and tried to charge another 1k, I refused to pay that in which they offered to cover it as warranty work. After receiving it back it was even worse and on top of it they lied and told me they looked at my rear tire that kept going flat and it was because of the weather. Went to another shop where it was finally fixed and also found that the rim of my back tire was bent which was causing it to lose air. read more

I called another location and got a quoted price for a battery for my car after it died while I was at work....They guy at the other location quoted me $153 for a new battery. I waited until the next morning and walked into this location at 7:10am right after they opened, I explained my ordeal from the night before and asked if they could check my battery out. They got me right in and checked everything and let me know what my options were. Needless to say I went from being quoted $153 to $98. I will NOT go to the Nora location EVER and will suggest all my friends and family to go to 86th & Michigan Rd. Funny thing is when I told others about my experience NO one was surprised and all said to NEVER go to Nora. College Park location took the time and explained and were completely taken back by the actions of the Nora location. Last time I was for an oil change...I also needed windshield wipers. I was changed $100 for windshield wipers! If they would have given me a heads up on the crazy price, I would have put them on myself. This time I needed an oil change, new tires, and alignment check. I was prompt to my appointment, watched my car be put up on a lift....1 1/2 hrs later, it has not been touched. The people and service here has really become disappointing. UPDATE: I just listen to them check out a woman, who was not happy with them for putting a more expensive oil in her car. It was different than what she always put in her car (she was clearly a regular...asking for TJ). They advised her that regardless of her records, they put in the oil her car called for. 2nd UPDATE: They finally went to check me out and I discovered they not only didn't do the tire alignment I requested on the phone when I ordered specific tires, but they also put a synthetic blend oil vs the full synthetic I requested AND have put in my car, at this location, for the last 2 years. Worst service I have ever had at auto center. Called for an appoint on a Monday and they looked at the car two days latter. They continually called and added services to the repair, even tried to charge 155 dollars for a 70 dollar battery. Not a good experience all around. read more
