Super fast and friendly. My alternator died on Wednesday night and they had it fixed up by 1pm the next day.

86th and Michigan Rd Location. WATCH THEM CLOSE!!!!!…read moreI went yesterday 9/17/24 for a FULL SYNTHETIC oil change and they gave me SYNTHETIC oil. And was charged for FULL SYNTHETIC . I've been 3 times prior and always watch videos on my phone with the belief that I was being taken care of by honest employees. Yesterday something in my gut told me "pay attention" and thank God I listened. When I let the two employees know that I seen them putting synthetic oil in my car and not full synthetic they both became very rude and hostile despite me approaching them thinking they made a simple mistake and could flush and re-do. The older guy excuse was and I quote "They sent us the wrong stickers and the one that says synthetic is the full synthetic". Despite them playing with my intelligence I remaind calm and the more calm I was the more rude and upset they became. I said "how did they send the wrong stickers ?(the stickers on the big square containers that hold the oil to the right of your car when in the bay). They did not send the wrong stickers because the stickers say what they are supposed to say.(lie #1) Then he says "We accidentally put the stickers in reverse on the containers. So the one that says synthetic is full- synthetic and vice versa"(lie #2). So I ask "If you know that the stickers are wrong (just entertaing their b.s even though I knew it was b.s) why haven't you fixed it?" I was then told "you chose to come here, we did not ask you to come here damnit" I asked "What does me choosing to come here have to do with you two cheating me? If I go across to McDonald's, I chose to go there. But me choosing to go there does not mean it's okay for them to charge me for items but put items tbat cost less in my bag and expect me to be okay with it". One of the guys says "Your receipt says full synthetic. What the hell is your problem" I say "First you need to relax with the attitude because I have not became loud with you two nor have I gotten a attitude. The receipt is going to say whatever you type into the computer. I'm far from unintelligent". At this point I was sick of the lying , aggressiveness and attitude all because they were caught. So I left. I will be contacting the BBB and speaking with DAVE the GM. I missed him today but will be speaking with him Monday. I refuse to let this go because how many people have these two done this to!!! Not to mention I watched him print my receipt and place it on the counter before they were done. When I confronted them the older employee balled up the receipt threw it away and printed out another he had the first one folded in half. I'm sure he was going to hand it to me hoping I wouldn't check the receipt which probably had synthetic on it and not full synthetic. The container closest to your hood when in bay says synthetic (the oil they used) the one closet to your trunk says full synthetic. I'm glad I got pics. I will NOT be letting this go and will 100% staying on top of this till this is made right and those two are put to a stop with screwing over people even if I have to get the news involved

Watch you wallets--thieves and cheats work here!!!…read more My son, who just got his driver's license, went & ordered the cheapest oil change with no extras, which is advertised as being $35. Imagine his surprise when they hit him up for $65?!? I called to ask and "Josh" explained that a 2011 Corolla requires the full synthetic (+$20) and, apparently, an upgraded filter (+$4.60) and he is not allowed to use a lower grade than what is required.... Amazingly, the Toyota dealership is unaware of this law & has been using the wrong oil all of these years. Do not support thieves & liars like these guys--go elsewhere.

It seems the Best-One team across Indianapolis and its partners across the map work as a team with customer service as a priority. I always get excellent Customer Service. At this location, Jim always does me right. We come here for more than just tires. They have worked on our full car tuneups, breaks, AC, water pump. I haven't had an issue they haven't been able to solve. I also like coupons. Most of the time, Vavolinae works with them to offer their customers discounts. My next oil change will come at $7 off. I am a fan! I've been coming here since they were IndyTire. And we came when my 32 year old son was a child. My son now says the same - he uses and trusts Best-One!

Would give zero stars if that were an option…read more I originally went to Best-One of Indy in Castleton for new tires and had a good experience, so I returned for an oil change. Big mistake. The oil change itself took about 30 minutes. Then they told me I needed a cabin air filter. Fine. What they failed to mention was that I'd be sitting there another 20 minutes waiting for someone to deliver the filter from the parts store. Then came the bill--$120 for an oil change and cabin air filter. They claimed my car required extra oil, which supposedly justified the higher price. I've looked into it and can't find anything that supports that claim. Unfortunately, that wasn't even the worst part. Within days, my car started acting up. A warning light came on, it struggled to accelerate, and the dealer found a cylinder misfire. The code cleared, so I drove it home. A short time later, while driving around 35 mph, the engine shut off completely. Thankfully, it restarted, but it began idling high, and there was a metallic clanking noise coming from the engine. I took it back to the dealer. After running diagnostics and performing another oil change, they determined that the aftermarket oil filter installed by Best-One was causing the problem. I had to pay another $285 to correct an issue that never should have happened in the first place. As soon as the correct filter was installed, my car ran perfectly again. I emailed Best-One twice requesting a refund and reimbursement, and provided all documentation showing them that it was caused by their faulty oil filter. No response. I filed a complaint with the BBB. Still no response. I've now filed with the Indiana Attorney General. My only other option is to file a credit card chargeback and absorb the $285 repair bill myself. This wasn't just poor customer service--it was a complete lack of accountability. They took my money, created a much bigger problem, and then ignored every attempt to make it right. Avoid this location. I drive a very common vehicle. There is absolutely no excuse for an oil change to end with an engine shutting off in traffic and hundreds of dollars in additional repair costs. Don't find out the hard way like I did.

I was in the Castleton area tonight, and I decided to stop by this location that is a few months old and sits around the corner from the new 7 Brew (noting that you can not simply go across from one to the other - getting to Take 5 actually mandates taking a different road). I like Take 5, though I do tend to find it a bit pricey. The top oil change is about $100, the next is $83 (this is the one I got). You can get a basic one for $56. While the prices are higher, I will admit the customer service does tend to be stronger and more consistent with Take 5. As I drove in, I was handed a bottle of water and a fun-size Reese's Take 5 bar. It's a fun touch. Rob was the service manager. I wasn't paying good enough attention to catch the names of the other folks. I pulled in at 6pm - about an hour before closing, but they were perfectly hospitable and I was in the bay in a few minutes. One nice touch here is that you can visit anytime between your next due date and get fluids topped off and even air in your tires. They do have online coupons. They did honor a $15 off coupon tonight. The service was speedy. The employees were personable. Recommendations were made, though there was no hard-sell. Overall, this was a solid visit. While I still think it's a bit pricey, there's no denying the stronger customer service and as I drove off there was also no denying the car was running more smoothly. There's a new Take 5 fairly close to my home - I may have to give them a chance, though I won't hesitate to return to this location when I'm in the Castleton area.
