*MUST READ* I see they only respond to 5 star reviews. I will NEVER EVER EVER take any vehicle or recommend anyone take their vehicle to ANY Firestone location in the whole USA! Long story short, my company spent over $3,000+ for spark plugs, ignition coils, and a code reset and the check engine light is STILL on. I sat at this Firestone last Thursday (4/30) since 8:45 AM to 3 PM!!!! Didn't EVEN have the courtesy to drive my vehicle around front for me like how they did everyone else's that day, I literally had to walk around back of the shop to get my truck. Whatever you do, NEVER take your car here. I came here at 3:20 because I needed to get my brake fluid reservoir fixed. After waiting until 5pm with my truck not even being touched yet I go and ask them how much longer it would be until I could get my truck looked at. If they gave me any indication that it would be a while longer I would have just taken it some place else, but they said I was next in queue so I chose to wait it out. By 6pm, an hour before closing, I leave to go get dinner and hoped by the time I came back they would be working on my truck. At 6:45 I come back and I see my truck in the bay, so I go back inside to wait. At this point I'm sitting there and look out into the garage and the hood is not open and no one is working on it but I figured they would get to it. At this point it's 10 minutes after closing and an employee notices me and asks what I need and I tell them that I'm there waiting on my truck. They ask for my name and what car is mine and I tell them it is the truck that is sitting right there in the bay. She then asks what I'm there to get fixed and I explain it to her, and she asks if the technician came and talked to me about what the issue was. I tell her how no one has talked to me at all. She goes back out and a few minutes later comes in and tells me that the technician was not able to look at my car today. At no point did they communicate that information to me beforehand. She says they can pull my car out and let me take it away and I say yes. I walk outside and see that the garage door is closed with my truck inside of there. Were they planning on just keeping my car overnight without even telling me anything? This was by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with auto repair. Called on Sunday 0902. Amp, the manager, answered and gave me a quote on 4 tires. Arrived there about 0920. They installed them and also performed an alignment (this car has been hard to align in the past). The alignment took a little bit longer than expected because of the car. Price as expected, drove the car and it was great! Hasn't driven this well since we got it new in 2009. Great job and Thank You! read more

Whatever you do, stay far far far away from this location! I scheduled an appointment for 11 AM and dropped off my vehicle at 10 AM. I get a call at 5:18 PM and was told that my vehicle would not be ready today. What is the point of scheduling an appointment and why would you call me seven hours later?! I called the store and spoke to Amp who stated that he cannot foresee the future. A whole day wasted waiting on them when I could've taken it anywhere else. Wow, after the techs secrectly destroyed my rack and pinion, strut and ruining the suspension. Someone sound nice to tell me to report it. No need to. Such a disgrace and dishonest from the start. Been to the Humble location twice to get my vehicle fix. Both times when leaving I always find another issue wrong with my vehicle. When you enter I will say the ladies make it their job to be nice and make you feel comfortable. Once they get the diagnose they start going over the stuff you need and for some reason the prices always are RIDICULOUS. Then they try to sell you this credit card cause they know you may not be able to afford it in one shot. My dumb self got caught up and accepted the card (worst decision). Once I went to change a light the bill was over $1000! The parts and labor was ridiculous and they had me there the whole day. By the time I got home and parked I noticed another light was not working which was working prior to them fixing (didn't notice because the vehicle had to be turn off to be notice). Explain to them and they basically try to say it blow once I got home lol. Next time (only because I had this damn credit card and was low on funds) went to get a minor fix the bill was over $1000 again. I told them that's way too much and I was hopping it will be the most $500. They stated the parts was expensive and they will try to get it down. Fast forward to end of day I got no phone call so I called. Only to find out they got it to $800, started without authorization and will be ready tomorrow instead the day of. For some reason when I paid they didn't give me a hard copy of my invoice (they usually do) and told me it will be send to my email. Once checked I noticed the parts were literally less than $100 and they charge me over $700 just for the labor! Again once home the next day I noticed my coolant was leaking overnight in my garage. Mind you this was not an issue before as I just paid someone to flush and change my coolant a couple of days prior. They literally broke the tube the coolant runs through while fixing (because they needed to remove a part next to that tube). It was so noticeable ( no mechanic will see that and not tell you). Long story short STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They hold your vehicle to over charge you and there is always another issue and they have workers who will lie in your face just to cover their BS. I had an appointment scheduled for 11 am today to get a bulb replaced in my headlights. I went for a walk and took phone calls. Two hours passed without a word, so I asked for an update. I learned that my car had been sitting for an hour and no one bothered to call me to go over the service technician's assessment and recommendations. I was told the manager would handle and I sat and waited for another 40 minutes making my entire time waiting at the facility, three hours to replace a light. I paid for the service and was shocked that the manager didn't even bother to speak to me personally to apologize for the error. I was helped by two office team members and neither apologized for the extremely long wait. This issue could have easily been resolved with a minimum amount of communication. This was my first time coming to this Firestone service station and will certainly be my last. read more

LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS, DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANY REASON! Amp and his team are glorified gas-lighting con artists. I had an unfortunate situation where my vehicle died about a mile from IAH, about an hour before my work trip, and had to have the vehicle towed to Firestone without my presence/without the key present. I had called Firestone to advise them of the vehicle being towed there without a key, and had asked if they had a contact with a vehicle locksmith so that a diagnosis/fix on the vehicle could potentially be accomplished before my return from the work trip. Amp told me over the phone that he would get me an estimate for the locksmith, and would get back to me the next day. The next day, I was unable to be with my phone the majority of the day, and had my girlfriend call them to see if they had a quote for the locksmith, to which they quoted her $310! Because of the steep price, she told Amp that she would speak to me first. When I was able to get to my phone, I called, and Amp's associate told me that the replacement key had already been made, and I was responsible for the $310 plus the cost of diagnosing the vehicle (None of which I had authorized!). Amp's associate blamed me for authorizing the replacement key being made, and then almost on a dime flipped blame on my girlfriend for authorizing the key to be made! Amp was not available until the next day, to which I called him first thing in the morning. He immediately got NASTY, accused me of lying to him, now flipping blame on the key authorization back on me. I very bluntly told him that I wanted access to all of our call logs, to which my surprise, he pulled and sent to me. Just as expected, no authorization was ever granted by me. As a true liar would do, he IMMEDIATELY flipped blame back on my girlfriend! It was like dealing with a child caught in a corner! He then pulled my girlfriend's call logs, and after seeing nothing was authorized on her behalf, then and ONLY then issued a half-a** apology. After only agreeing to give him my business after a steep discount, I arrived at the Firestone, only to find out that my current keys/fob were DEACTIVATED! Amp again went into defensive mode, claiming that "Since he isn't a key guy, how is he supposed to know?", but it gets better, he offered to get me in touch with someone who could reprogram the keys/fob for another $200! All for something that was never authorized. I almost never write Yelp reviews, and there has to be seriously atrocious things happen to be deserving of me to write a negative review. On July 27, I made the unfortunate decision to visit Firestone on 1st Street in Humble. I arrived around 1:20 PM for a simple oil change and brake check, and was told it would take two hours. I left my car, expecting the job to be done promptly. How wrong I was. By 4:20 PM, I hadn't heard anything, so I called to check on my car. After being left on hold for a staggering 25 minutes, I was finally told that nothing had been done. The oil change and brake check hadn't even started! They claimed they'd get someone on it immediately--a "guy standing around" was apparently their best option. At 5:46 PM, I received a call saying I did need brake service, but assured me they could finish before their 7:00 PM closing time. I arrived a little before 7:00, prepared to pay, only to find my brakes still incomplete. I watched as various employees aimlessly wandered around, occasionally helping the lone mechanic on my car. This guy clearly had no idea what he was doing; he even hand-tightened one lug nut before using an impact wrench, a basic mistake that could've caused serious damage. Then, they lost a lug nut. When I confronted the assistant manager about the 2.5-hour delay and the missing part, he offered no apology--just excuses. They were short-handed, had long work weeks, and blamed "anyone" who might have misplaced the nut. Not a single "I'm sorry" was heard. He tried to reassure me by saying the mechanic was new but "very methodical." Methodical at being incompetent, perhaps. As if that wasn't enough, when I finally got my car back at 8:20, it was filthy--grease prints all over the steering wheel cover. The real kicker? The brakes were barely functioning. The pedal sank to the floor, barely stopping the car. When I brought it back, the mechanic casually suggested I "pump the brakes a couple of times." The assistant manager had to pump them himself to get any response. And still, the brakes failed. Bleeding the breaks is a basic step in servicing brakes and my mechanic apparently had no clue. The worst part? When I, the car's owner and the person paying for this mess, asked questions, the assistant manager had the gall to ignore me and address my friend that had provided me the ride and was waiting around to see if my care was going to be capable of making it home - just because he's assumed he was my husband and that he should talk to the man. When I told him to stop and talk to me, I had asked the question, it was my car and that I was paying for the repairs, the assistant manager actually said "He is the husband that is why I am explaining it to him". It didn't matter that I have a background in mechanics and have managed a parts house; he just assumed the man should be spoken to, completely disregarding me the actual customer paying for this ordeal. To recap: the service was abysmally slow, the customer service atrocious, and the mechanic dangerously incompetent. They were more concerned with closing up and going home than my safety and doing the job right. The assistant manager was not only disrespectful but blatantly sexist. If I hadn't insisted on a test drive, their negligence could've caused a serious accident. Firestone on 1st Street is a disgrace, and I will never set foot there again. read more

I had a 9:00 appt at the 264 1St West, Humble, TX 77338 location to get an alignment done and a diagnosis of the front end suspension I had done at a Firestone, in March 2024. Saw no movement on my car. Checked at the front desk. Was told that Robin, the Lead Tech, had just pulled my car into a bay, there are only 3 bays. It is 10:15 am! While waiting, there were at least 8 people in the shop (they had run out of seating) and at least 3 people waiting outside. I talked to 4 customers in the shop. We ALL HAD 9:00 APPOINTMENTS. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? It is when YOU DOUBLE AND TRIPLE BOOK! We were all there for alignments, tire rotations, etc. At 12:27 I ran out of patience and told them to give me my car back. I left the shop WITH NO ALIGNMENT DONE!!! And a RECOMMENDED BILL FOR THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR CAR REPAIRS. I have used Firestone for many, many years, and will now look for another repair shop!!! Staff's only response to why the long wait was, "Oh, this is what happens during an Epic sale." LIKE THIS IS ACCEPTABLE!! This is Bull!!!! read more

Saw the 2.7 average rating, but figured we'd give them a chance. Nope, they earned this crummy score. People, this rating accurately reflects the staff at this location. Went there for some very basic maintenance, but they failed to do the very basic things. Had an alignment done (hopefully, doubting if it was really done now) but they didn't even bother to fill up the tires with the recommended air pressure (in case that what was causing the shaking). When we informed them that they failed to air up the tires (prior to test driving it after claiming to have done an alignment), the staff was rude about it and put us back in line... when it should have been one of the very first things the mechanics should have done. Then the mechanic said that it was still shaking... which, may have been due to the fact the tire pressure was very low on all 4 tires. But, they wouldn't know that because not only did they ignore the notifications on the dash, but they didn't even check the tire pressure before test driving. Even after the oil change, they didn't bother to reset the dash or put a sticker for the next oil change on the windshield. Just makes us wonder if they really did anything at all, except bill us. read more

If I could give a place no stars, this would be it. I came in today to ask for a headlight bulb replacement quote. They wanted to charge me $64 for a bulb and $250 for labor. I drive a honda civic 17 and the reason why the labor was expensive is because apparently the bumper needed to be removed to get to the bulb. So I took my business to AutoZone next door. Steve H. replaced it in less than 10 minutes. Did not need to remove the bumper nor waste my time to try and sell me a lie. Never go to this firestone unless you are willing to get ripped off by one of their salesman in the front. Do your research so you are not getting scammed. Go to Steve, he is a honest guy. read more

Super Star Joshua!! he understands "road ready" we drive to Central Arkansas a lot, and Josh makes sure I am able to get on the road at a moments notice. Josh is honest, and lets me know whats coming up for service and what can actually wait....he doesn't build a "dire need" got get it done right now scenario, plus if he can't fix something he lets me know and I so appreciate that so much! Hard to find that in mechanics now days! Josh has kept our 2008 Nissan, and 2013 Armada in mint condition and road ready...he has caught and fixed items the Certified Nissan Mechanics at the dealership missed. We have a 10 year car rule, and we have put off buying a new vehicle for the last 3 years because of Josh and this team. read more

I've been going to this Firestone for years, and today was the last day. After sitting in the parking lot since 6:15, I waited on a Saturday morning (like I always have in years past.) Never had I been told I needed an appointment. I walked in and asked for an oil change and tire rotation. The person (whom I found was a manager asked if I had an appointment. As you can tell from my previous statement, this went downhill pretty fast. Even the customer behind me was pissed, but he had time to wait. The least this smug manager (and he was very smug) could have taken me in (as there were no other cars), changed it and told me to make an appointment next time. After over seven years of being a loyal customer, I could have been granted this one courtesy. I guess they don't need the business. Worst first impression - RUDE!! Upon arriving, I went inside and there wasn't anyone there in the front. I waited a few minutes before walking into the garage area. Several people stared at me but no one said anything. Finally someone told me to wait inside. Point is - it took almost 15 minutes for anyone to say anything to me. I should have left. Then after waiting for almost an hour, someone came and told me that the manager wanted to offer me a free a/c check (valued at $10) if I came back another day. If I could give no stars I would!!! Today my husband was robbed by this location. When he calmly alerted the manager about the thief the supervisor went on defense and got angry. His exact words were, "We dont steal here you can call the cops" which he keep excessively chanting. My husband is not a confrontational man, so he simply stated "its okay may the man who took it be blessed, he must need it more than I do" yet the supervisor stayed on the defensive. We are not to make assumptions but inspector, James Jones or Technician, John (or the other gentlemen who handled my vehicle) will never be servicing my vehicles again, nor will we be doing business at this location in the future. read more

I took my vehicle for service and THREE out of the four hubcaps were loose upon return. Had my husband rotate tires and lug nuts were either halfway tight or loose depending how you look at it. I was told that a tire needed REPLACEMENT due to a defect of the wall with it being flanged. Absolutely NOT TRUE! I had my husband remove and inspect all four tires there's absolutely no defects. It was someone trying to upsell a tire on a false basis of safety. True BS! Of course now I have a spare tire should I need one. read more

There was only one person in the store when I got there and I was quoted 30-45 minutes for a tire replacement and a rotate and balance... An hour and 45 minutes later they FINALLY finished! My husband and I use this Firestone all the time for regular maintenance on our cars, and then some. We're always treated nicely and have never had any issues or complaints. As a matter of fact, they just installed my new rims and a cold air intake on my Mustang. They did a wonderful job and didn't charge me an arm and a leg like some other places. I literally always have issues here and for some dumb reason I keep coming back because I'm trapped with them since my tires are under warranty here. As soon as I left the lot Friday night, my low tire pressure indicator went right back on after they had supposedly just fixed it, but they were already closed. I had to wait over the weekend and came back on Monday over an hour before they even close and they say there's 5 cars already and they can't take anyone else! I told them that's unacceptable since it's their fault I'm back here and I'll wait however long it takes. This is the last time I will waste my time here again. I don't care that my tires are under warranty here or that the guy convinced me to get the Firestone credit card. They do shoddy work and they are all lazy with poor work ethic! How dare you try to turn away a paying customer over an hour before you close to fix your mistake! read more
