While I was there he explained to me that he checked everything and certain things did not need to be changed which I appreciated. I wish I could leave no stars for the experience I had with this location. When I first went to get my oil change done from this location, I didn't notice until I looked, that the person working on my car stripped the drain plug. Overall the job wasn't too bad so I gave the benefit of doubt so I went again. Next month comes, Of course I went in for my oil change and this time to get an air filter done as well. Now what typically takes just only a couple of minutes now turns into an hour and by this time I'm getting just a tad impatient, so just out of curiosity I go take a look at my car which has its hood up and I took a gander at my engine bay. As I look around, I notice that the air duct that connects to my engine is cracked, like as if someone didn't know what they were doing and just pulled it out. So I asked the guy who was working on doing my air filter and I tell him " why does it look like that? I look in my engine bay pretty often and it wasn't like when I got here" and he replied " oh wow you have a good eye, uuuuhhhh it's probably from the heat of the engine" now after trying to be made to look dumb, I let them finish their job no reaction and played stupid. I then later called the manager, made my complaint and got my part. Although yes, I am appreciative that the manager did his part and got the job done for me without expense, I shouldn't have to feel like I'm wasting money for sub par work. Visited this location twice to get my oil changed. Service is pretty good, however the two times that I went I've had to immediately go back after leaving. Which is a tad bit inconvenient. I've had to go back twice for the same thing. Every time they change my oil, they forget to change my oil service sticker. The first time they change my oil they also forgot to reset my oil service meter. For that I'm going to have to give them a 3 stars. read more

Unfortunately I would have rated this Jiffy Lube as a 5 star...the technicians and service seemed great. In and out fast. I had an oil change and differential fluid change. The technicians accidentally drained both rear and front--& only replaced one. We had to get towed to the dealership after the entire chassis froze. It caused $7200 worth of damage to my vehicle. We are still waiting for there insurance to pick up fees- people make mistakes -this Jiffy Lube needs to back up there technicians with there insurance policy and cover charges. Jiffy's insurance did cover the error. People make mistakes- I'm grateful we have insurance for such times. read more

Failed my inspection due to "torn wiper blade" on the PASSENGER side. Offered to replace it for $22 (they're $10 at my local auto parts - installed). As you can see in the picture the "tear" is less than 1/8 inch. The wiper was working perfectly, window was clean. According to Texas State Inspection guidelines wiper blade condition can be used as an assessment - this is a GUIDELINE but it is not a law and not a rule. This is a safety inspection, Jiffy Lube. The condition of this wiper blade in no way caused my car to be unsafe to drive. You simply wanted to sell me a wiper blade - and a $49 Cabin Air filter which can be purchased at auto parts for $15. I told him (Edgar, I believe) not to replace it but I happened to glance out from the waiting room and they were doing it anyway. He claimed that "he misheard" when I told him not to replace it. My first experience with Jiffy Lube was great. They were quick and had me in and out in less than an hour. However, the last 2 oil changes I noticed fishy behavior. They would ask me about "changing dirty filters" and "filling empty fluids" and keep trying to up-sale me for more expensive oil changes. I fell for the "dirty air filter" trick once. When I brought it back for the next oil change, they tried the same tricks on me. Telling me my "fluids were low", "air filters need changing",etc. By this time I realized it was a scam and declined everything but an oil change and tire rotation. The mechanic seemed very irritated with me and kept insisting I needed extra work done. I didn't tell him that they had already don't most of these things a few months back with my last oil change. And I hardly drive my car so I know nothing is wrong with it. He final let me alone and went to changing my oil, but came back in the waiting room insisting that I really needed more work done and brought me a "dirty air filter" (that probably wasn't even mine) to show me. I declined again. When he finished and was ringing me up, he proceeded to keep telling me that I "refused to change my filters and fill up my fluids" and even typed it up on my receipt. 2 days later my check engine light comes on and I take it to NTB. They checked everything on my car and said the only thing wrong was with my last oil change someone didn't connect something properly. I told them I went to Jiffy Lube 2 days ago and the guy laughed. He said "did they try to sell you air filters and fluid too?" He knew there scam!! He said he sees people come in all the time after they have been to Jiffy Lube and they say they try to sale them extra things that aren't necessary. He said my fluid levels were fine and my air filters looked good. I have a feeling they purposely left the connection loose thinking I'd come back when the engine light came on. Well this was a hot mess... so I went to get an oil change today. I was told to pull up and the guy checked under the hood of my car. He then told me, they didn't have the oil filter I need, but if I went and bought it, they could then change the oil. I left, and came back... when I pulled into the bay I noticed every one looking at my car. I heard "what is that", "oh I know..." and the guy tells me to pop the hood, as I see him wiping something off the car. Then the assistant manager comes over, and now it like 4-5 ppl standing around my car looking. So, I get out and ask, what's going on. Well, the worker left the oil cap off my car, So oil was everywhere. Then they proceed to attempt to clean up all the oil. I asked a worker (who collected the payment) for corporate number so I could file a complaint. The assistant manager comes back with my receipt, and let me know that, "to be honest, corporate is just gonna kick the complaint, back to us... but if you want you can call the store manager his number is on the receipt. And I went ahead and gave you a discount of $35. So,They finally finished "cleaning" up the oil, and I leave. I get down the street at a red light and a guy let's me know, I have some dripping down the front of my car as he crossed the street. I pull over and it's oil, all over the front of my car again. I go back to jiffy lube, where the manager, tells me to follow him to a car wash, where he pressure washed under the hood of my BMW (I can't make this up). Never have I ever, dealt with anything like like this while getting an oil change. I will not be going back there, I will most definitely NOT recommend anyone to go there. I got an oil change and was annoyed with the long line at Jiffy Lube. When I pulled in an attendant, named Daryl, received me and took my car keys. As he was escorting me inside another car pulled up and a man tried to bribe Daryl to cut in line for his oil change. Daryl refused kindly multiple times and after the man drove off mentioned that fairness means blessings and he can't do that to the other customers. I admire an attendant who operates in integrity and will be back for that reason. P.S. Whoever owns that Jiffy Lube should give Daryl a raise. read more

Any time I pull into this Jiffy Lube, I am never turned away. The staff makes sure you are comfortable with coffee or water in their waiting area. Oil changes are usually no more than 15 minutes. They always explain what they do for your vehicle and recommend additional services that will help, but there is never any pressure. Only problem I have with this location is that after checking my cabin air filter, they leave my glove box insecure without the hinges. When I open the glove box after my visit, everything falls out. Small issue, but it has happened more than once. read more

They're definitely going to lie to you and try to up sell you. I'm not sure if they thought since I'm a woman they could lie and say my coolant was low but, I refused the top off (for an extra charge) they recommended every service after service and I refused them all. Jiffy Lube has gone down tremendously and you can't trust the employees at all. I wouldn't recommend going here at all! It makes sense why they had little to no business. I take care of my car and the last thing I need is a dishonest person under my hood. Will be taking my business else where. read more

These people really raise the bar when it comes to getting your oil changed. They greet you as you pull up, patiently waited for me to get out of the vehicle and followed me to the door and opened it for me (they were doing this for every customer) They topped off all the fluids, checked the air pressure in the tires, and vacuumed out the truck as well. Took my vehicle in for a state inspection on a Sunday morning. Very polite and courteous staff. Was in and out in 20 minutes. No issues.

Been doing business here for specifically oil changes for both cars I own for close to 2 years without a problem. Went in for my normal oil change and as soon as I pull up the attendant ask will I also be doing my inspection sticker. I stated to the guy checking me in that my service engine light is on. I wasn't sure i'd be doing the inspection today. As soon as I get inside they start up-selling the more expensive oil change along with other service items they recommended which is not out of the normal based off of my previous visits. I declined any additional service or up- charges in the oil change. At this point they keep insisting on doing the inspection.(It was not expired as of that day so i was in no rush). One of the service guys runs in and ask again are you doing the inspection? I finally agreed. The guy took an additional 30 minutes to complete the inspection and being I had my daughter with me I asked what the hold up was. The guy starts to finally check me out and walks back outside to talk to the service man. I'm agitated at this point being I've been in there 1 hour and 30 minutes. The service guy walks back in with the guy checking me out and (never once looking in to my eyes and faced bowed down) states that my vehicle failed the inspection. I asked him how did it failed. Points at the paper and says my service engine light was the cause of the failed inspection. I pointed out to him that the service engine was on when I arrived and they were well informed of it especially after completing the oil change. I also asked why he even bothered hooking my vehicle to the diagnostic/inspection machine knowingly that he would fail my vehicle based on the check engine light. FACTS: They were informed of the service engine light before they assumed the work order for the inspection sticker. Also, they knew before they started that my vehicle would fail the inspection however charged the fee for inspection and stated afterwords that it was non refundable and they would not waiver. Anyone doing business with this specific Jiffy Lube location needs to be aware of the shady business practices and culture of of not putting the customers interest first. Based off of my experience I will not be doing future business with this specific location. I encourage anyone thinking about doing business here do the same. read more

Second time took a while BC they had only one of those things open lol not sure what you call it. Im not in a rush so I waited. This is the most unprofessional, untrustworthy Jiffy lube I EVER been to. I'm not gonna get into details because I don't wanna waste my time we these people. Managers and employees ripping women off on extra services, and products not needed. Alan Taylor is supposed to be a manager there that promised he would discount me when I came back just because of the over payment of my wife's oil change, windshield wipers, filters, etc...when she was there recently and wasn't necessary. When I showed up he didn't honor what he said! This place is obviously on the radar and catching a lot of attention because there is always no business there. If any women want to get there oil changes here please go elsewhere or beware of the upsale and dishonesty of what u really need for your vehicle..Take your husband if possible so you won't be taking advantage of. I've been coming to this location since I moved back to the states from abroad (2014). I'd yet to have a problem until today. After writing this review I will be contacting both the district manager Mark Beckett and the Jiffy Lube corporate office. I had my oil changed here 2 weeks ago. When I pulled into the bay I told the attendant at the time I needed an oil change. His response "you need new brakes too". He was absolutely right, he told me he could hear them. I asked him how much they would charge he explained it would be 240.00+ my response was I can't afford that right now, he tells me if I but my own brakes it will only be 120.00. Fast forward 2 weeks I go to a neighborhood mechanic ( I no longer in the neighborhood where this Jiffy Lube is located) he explained that I also needed back rotors as well. l buy the parts but unfortunately he couldn't fit me into his schedule. Not a problem, I call Jiffy Lube Tiara answers the phone she quotes me the same 120.00 for the brakes and I asked her about the rotors she tells me that is an additional 60.00. I drive over to Jiffy Lube, when I get there the gentleman Terence comes up to my car. I get a second opinion about the rotors (trying to save a few dollars) he tells me that not only do I need them (rear rotors), I need front rotors as well. I tell him the previous mechanic didn't explain that to me but asked what happens if I don't get the front rotors? He tells me it will wear down my brake pads quicker. I say that's fine go ahead and replace the brakes and rear rotors and I'll purchase front rotors and bring them back another time. I go inside I'm called to the front by Alan to pay and the charges are 187.00. I pay, I leave. As I'm driving down the road I look over in my front seat and notice the front brake pads are still in the box, wrapped in plastic. I call and speak with David, I explain to him the situation, he asks around and comes back to the phone and says he was told I only wanted the rear brakes replaced (WHAT?! WHY). He tells me to come back in, I turn around and drive back 35 minutes to Jiffy Lube, only to be told that after speaking with Tiara and Terence there was nothing he could do. He explained that I received the service I pad for. I am blown away, we go back and forth with me explaining that it makes no sense to come in and only get my rear brakes changed when my brakes were grinding, I WOULD NOT DO THAT! He calls someone named Patrick (he says he's a manager) Patrick says the same thing I was charged for the service I received. I did not understand how, when two weeks ago I was quoted 120.00 for brakes, that morning I was quoted $120 for brakes and an additional $60 for rotors, I paid 187.00 and only got my back rotors and rear brakes changed. By this time I am so livid I'm actually crying, you are literally telling me you will NOT give me the service I paid you for. I leave and this is the point I'm at right now. I work extremely hard for my salary (as do most of us) and it's unfortunate that a person can be taken advantage of and be left to feel as helpless as I felt leaving the location today. I did my due diligence (multiple quotes for the same price) and held up my end of the bargain (paying the invoice) for the service I requested. Jiffy Lube, however, did not follow through with its commitment. How does something like this happen? Needless to say my relationship with Jiffy Lube has been forever severed as of today. I've contacted Jiffy Lube corporate, unfortunately it was outside their business hours. I've also called Mark Beckett and left a message. I am waiting on a call back. read more

I went to the Humble FM 1960 location near Townsen Blvd on the morning of 6/21/16. After they pulled my 2013 Ford F-150 into the shop I told the tech named BJ that I wanted Motor Craft oil. About 3 min later he was putting pennzoil into my truck. I made them drain the pennzoil all out and replace the filter. About 20 min later one of their workers showed up with a bag of oil from a local auto parts store. BJ had taken a break (before 9am) and another tech had to finish his job. No offer of a discount or apology form management. I've taken several of my cars there over the past few years and now wonder how many times they've used the wrong oil (or even changed the oil). Called the corporate office and left voicemail. Also called the regional manager and left voicemail. I will NEVER go back to that location or any others they run. read more

I came in knowing many of the prices as well as what my car needed done and was called out to the computer to select prices and ranges and even received percentages off helping to fit my budgetary needs from not one, not two, but at least five mechanics thoroughly checking my engine. New to the area & needed an oil change asap. Wasn't sure about Jiffy but came in anyway. They greeted me at my car. Joked about my coupon being expired but gladly accepted it. They told me what was going to be done to my car and how much it was going to cost. When they finished, they showed me that my oil was full, fluids topped off, caps were tight and carpet vacuumed They looked like they enjoyed their work. The worst customer service...they did inspection when my engine light was already on...told them they said would t effect then they charged me 20 after telling me if it failed inspection because of light!!! The GM wasn't there so I left and called them later...The GM showed up later I talked to him on the phone and he was extremely rude and hung up after I was getting frustrated wanting my refund he didn't care I called back and he said don't come back it doesn't really matter........ don't go to JIFFY not worth it bring your car/truck to more quality place for your vehicle!!!!!! read more
