Today I had a tire that had been punctured and needed another tire, and once again they took very good care of me. One thing I have noticed about Omega Tires over the years is something you do not find everywhere. The moment a customer walks through the door, someone acknowledges them and says hello. You are not left standing there wondering whether anyone has noticed you or is going to help you. They make you feel welcome from the moment you come in. I don't know a great deal about cars, tires, or motor vehicles, but I do know when I am being treated respectfully and fairly. I have always felt that Omega Tires treats me honestly and fairly. I have never felt taken advantage of, and I have confidence that what I am being charged for is what I actually need. I have never been unhappy with any tire Omega Tires has sold me, and I have never felt that I overpaid. I have always felt that I received good value for my money. Eddie, the manager, is always so nice. I really cannot think of anything negative to say about him. He treats customers with respect and even makes a point of asking whether you are comfortable while you are waiting. When I left today, he said, We'll see you later. It's a small thing, but that kind of friendliness makes a difference. Flo, who works out in the garage area, is also very nice and treated me very well. Another thing I appreciate is that the wait is not long. Even when they have several customers, they do a very good job of getting people taken care of without making them wait unnecessarily. After going to Omega Tires for years, I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for my tires. I like doing business where I am respected and where I can have confidence in the product, value, and service I receive. Omega Tires is highly recommended! God bless! Mark N Tim

I am so disappointed. In all my years of living in Birmingham this is the worst car repair…read moreexperience I have had. These guys are the full price specialists. Watch out the service manager really run up a repair. The owner was unsympathetic and acted like he had better things to do than listen to my concerns. I needed my truck fixed. Their initial quote was higher than another by $140. They have a great looking building on the outside and I assumed I was paying for top notch work. They assured the truck's return later that afternoon, knowing I needed the vehicle for work. They called back and suggested a radiator on top of the requested water pump. They said it would be cheaper to do both. My radiator was working fine, but it was older and I should replace it now. Next, they acted like it was a real challenge for them to fix my vehicle. They had a hard time locating a GM radiator and then kept it through the weekend and again all day Monday. They literally charged me 3 times what it would be from a wholesaler. For a common Chevy radiator, they acted like they did me a favor finding one for $500. I went to them looking for my new repair shop. I feel like they took advantage of me being in a hurry to get it fixed and they lost a potential solid customer. Oddly, they told me my temperature gauge was broken when I went to pick it up. I had already told them to allow the motor to warm up properly. Apparently they didn't bother, the gauge works just fine, but they wouldn't put the time in to really check. Next they accused me of trying to get the gauge fixed for free by lying that it worked when I brought it in. I was flabbergasted, I had to pay a premium price for their late repair, then I got called a liar because they wouldn't even bother warm up the motor on a new radiator installation. I bet they are good mechanics, when they want to be, but they mishandled my repair, wasted my time, and then demanded top dollar after admitting they had no idea how to get my gauge working. They repeatedly told me the diagnostic machine didn't give them an answer so they couldn't fix it. The owner basically called me a liar when actually they were not very thorough with their assessment. Who tells a client you broke his gauge, can't fix it, call him dishonest and then still be wrong about the gauge even being broke? They have lousy people skills and I can only assume they are lazy mechanics. They still have no idea that my temperature gauge works and they just let me leave upset. They offered me no compromise of any kind.

Christian Brothers does pre-purchase vehicle inspections. They have two types of inspections. One is basically visual inspection and the other is an in-depth check of the car. Of course, I chose the more detailed inspection. When I went to drop the car off, I was greeted warmly by the man at the first desk. He recognized me from the phone. I received text messages letting me know when my car was being serviced, when it was ready, and a link to a report of their findings. The report was thorough. They even attached a video clip to demonstrate something that needed to be fixed. When I picked the car up, they reviewed the report with me further. They didn't push me on trying to have repairs done with them. The helped me decide to purchase the car. Joshua Stone, Service Advisor informed me there would be no problem and would take me in right away. The service department was very slow and 2 advisors were talking amongst themselves about football. They were going to take care of my rear tail light on my 2023 Ram truck that has 9000 miles which was not working. After 2 1/2 hours they did not even look at the truck. I then spoke to Joshua and asked why it was taking so long, I was the only person in the waiting room. He said they were trying to get the water out of the tail light and thought that would work. I decided to walk around the huge service building to see if I could see my truck getting worked on and it was still sitting in the parking lot. When I asked Joshua why he lied to me he said the mechanic lied to him. I told him to just get me a new rear tail light. He finally ordered it while I was there and I waited another 1 1/2 hours. I asked to have all the red warning lights cleared. There were 3 that came on, also to have my tires inflated to the proper levels. I paid and then left as I was pulling out of the driveway all my warning lights came back on. As I walked back in furious Tom Williams CX coordinator approached me quietly and pulled me aside and explained about all the problems they are having in the service department. Those problems included, hiring mechanics and training all service advisors. It is now 4:30 pm and Tom was shocked I was still there. He thought the repairs were done long before this time. I asked Tom to have the owner of the dealership call me. Being there for 4 1/2 hours I did a lot of walking around the sales lobby. I had 2 different conversations with 2 different sales people about what had happened to me in the service depart. Each sales person told me that the service department was a complete mess and one actually suggested I go to the Dodge Dealership in Hoover for my next repair.
