My little Red Ranger was in need of attention. They gave her a CVI (which I recommend). It brought up all the issues. Some crucial, some not so. And while I didn't have all of them done, what I had done the work was top notch. All personnel conduct themselves as professionals. What a joke of a business, technician almost killed himself... I already knew what was wrong with the vehicle and asked the manager to address that issue only and directly. He proceeded to try a full car diagnostic anyway. The manager also made it sound like it would be looked at "right away" to later tell me it would be one to two hours before they even look at it. Despite all their time on my vehicle they did not diagnose the problem I came in for directly and sent me to a dealership. (I had previously diagnosed the issue at a mechanic that was too busy to fix the problem). Then the manager gave me a cockamamie explanation as to why they couldn't do it and it would need a specialized mechanic at a dealership. What?! (Ball bearings dude, ball bearings). My truck had a camping topper attached at the time of service, I am surprised the technician didn't kill himself: first he jacked up one side super high shifting the center of balance and the entire load precariously to the other side. He eventually corrected by lifting the opposite side. He placed a heavy duty jack on the center of the rear axel (good), but without knowing the vehicle weight with the camper proceeded to in one swift move remove the jack from the left side dropping the vehicle and entire load too fast to the center jack. The truck, topper and all almost flipped over onto the technician. The weight alone would have killed him. Said technician AND manager got annoyed that we pointed out they should raise and lower the vehicle more gently (not to mention all my stuff flying around on the inside of the camper after that stunt). I went to Firestone as an emergency, on a holiday weekend, as a last resort. I can certainly tell you this experience has made it so I never return. read more

A quote from them at $359 has somehow become over a $1000.(i had an appt. at the $359 price to get the work done. Brought the car in and left it for the day. They didnt do the work, but insisted on the higher price. Seems like a scam tactic to me. There is no one to call for help, no manager exists and Firestone national help center DOES NOT EXIST. This location made an analysis of my A/C system. In writing they quoted me a $2000 bill because my system needed to be completely replaced. Suspicious I took to Lexus dealer only to find out I only needed a $40 filter. I returned to Firestone and showed the manager their quote and the Lexus $40 bill. He became angry and denied. Use with caution! While the service was great and courteous. The wait time was a little long but overall not bad. I even got a complimentary 'inspection' one would think great my car is doing great since nothing was found. Also of note, nothing had been wrong with car, just went for a tire rotation and balance. 2 days later I noticed some sort leakage in my garage. I look under car and sure enough oil is slowly dropping. Coincidence? I think not. I ask my friends and one says they did same thing to my wife's car. Overall its a shady ass thing to do. read more

Sooo disappointed in this establishment. I dropped by to get an inspection done since my other spot was packed and was told the technician was not in at the time. So made an appointment to have it done at 8 the next day, only to show up early and have to wait 45 minutes for a 15 minute inspection. Why schedule me at 8 if you're going to just make me wait like I was a walk-in?!?!?!?! Overall, I will not be back. Poor customer service means poor workmanship in my book! read more

An employee at this Firestone location followed me into another business to talk to me about my car when he could've easily called me or waited for me to walk back to Firestone. (They were hours away from closing, so that's not why.) He followed me to talk to me about windshield wipers, so it was no emergency. All the employees of the other business were stunned that a Firestone employee followed me inside. It's was very inappropriate and unprofessional. In addition, the state inspector at this Firestone location literally said there's a lot of "shit" wrong with my car. When I asked what that means, I was told the windshield wipers need replacing and possibly the battery soon. That's it. They offered to replace 2 wipers for a cost of $45 plus tax. I declined and failed inspection. I'll be getting my inspection done elsewhere. I hope to continue to trust the Firestone name, but I will never visit this location again. read more

Hmm.... tough to rate them poor and tough to rate them great! They were nice to buy tires from except that they are so expensive!!! My husband loves Bridgestone tires so we go to Firestone. They did the job right, gave us great tires, but $2100 for four tires was insane, no alignment included! My hubby had to have these performance tires which were also oem. I just felt they could have worked with us done or thrown in an alignment but nothing. So in summary, the product is excellent, they did a great job BUT work with the customers more than you do is my suggestion. Since buying the tires, we've found them for less pretty much everywhere, our mistake for not shopping around first. read more

Staff always bend over backwards to help find more ways to separate you from your money. Seems like if I go in to get new windshield wipers installed I walk out $1000 poorer. Ok I'm kidding sort of. They do carefully check out your vehicle thoroughly and point out every maintenance item you have neglected or overlooked. This is good because it lengthens the usable life of your vehicle. So you can pay them now or pay the dealership later. They do pretty much the same maintenance schedule your dealership would do Plenty of options for every tire need and budget. Provides most maintenance and repair services. Prices are competitive. Friendly and personable staff. They're pretty good keeping you up to date on the status so you don't just sit around all day wondering when. read more

Don't come here, go anywhere else but here. We took my dad's 2010 ford fusion to them a few weeks ago because the AC wasn't working. They identified a connector issue and took a full 3 days to fix it. We paid over 700 dollars for then to fix this issue and to get the AC working. The AC works now but it discharges the battery so much that the car wouldn't start. We had to take the battery to O'Reilly so that they could charge it up for us. We took the car back to Firestone so that they could find the issue with the AC. On the first day that they had it they told us that there was nothing wrong with it. On the second day they told us that there was a short somewhere but they couldn't find it. On the third day that they had the car they once again told us that there was nothing wrong with it. So now we're 700 dollars short, an AC that still doesn't work and in some respects its worst off than when they first touched the car because we can't leave it connected, and we also didn't have access to this car for almost a full week. So please don't ever go to this estblishment and I would advise you to never go to any Firestone. read more

These guys are pretty straight forward when it comes to repairs for my vehicle. I was having issues with my AC not putting out cold air and making weird noises. I had done some research on my own and discovered that the compressor could be the culprit. I took it to firestone and they did an AC performance Check and sure enough it was the AC compressor giving out and it was leaking. They suggested a new compressor and AC lines to help with the leaking. The price was fair given that the labor was pretty intense and the parts were warrantied for life. I was sold. Not only did they fix the problem but it was done the same day. read more

I stopped by Pep Boys on 4/25/20 (Friday night) at about 5:15p.m. with a tire off of the vehicle, that needed a new tire valve stem put in. Now, I've changed tires all through college, and bet on even a slow-paced effort, it would take 7-10 min to change a valve stem. Note, I did not even need the tire filled with air, just simply break the bead, use a valve stem puller, pull the old one pull a new one in. Done. I would have gladly paid whatever asked as I work during the weekend and need the car. The guy that helped me was mopping the floor when I walked in and I stated, Hello, can you put in a new valve stem in this tire (the one in front of me off the vehicle) I'll even leave it. He stated no, we are too busy currently. Shocked, that I couldn't even leave it, I said ok, and I left. It's ok, though, I went to Fire Stone on Sunday morning (Jesus helped me) and in about 7 minutes, had the valve stem fixed and didn't even charge me. Know, on Monday during my video conferences I will tell my story to the members who maintain a fleet of vehicles. Word of mouth is the best/worst advertisement. Great Job Fire Stone read more

Wow. What an experience. Limit yourself to oil changes here as the customer service is atrocious and they will pull classic unnecessary upsells. Here was my experience. I've had issues with my A/C for a while. Took it to other car repair shops that failed to identify or correct the issue. Firestone stated they found the issue, that the A/C wasn't blowing cold because it had been overcharged at previous car shop. They cleared the coolant and refilled it. Cold air blew for a couple days and then stopped. I brought it back in a few days later on a wednesday morning (I had off). They then identified that there was a leak in the compressor and I needed a new compressor. They also said I needed new tires and asked me if I wanted to see a crack on one of the tires as proof. I said yes (this started the dog and pony show). Sure enough there was a crack in an area that I was uncomfortable leaving alone. So I agreed the tire needed to be replaced. They then strongly pushed that I replace all four tires (two of the other tires were 4 years old so I figured although I probably didn't need it it wasn't a bad idea). Yet I thought I remembered just replacing one of the tires a year previously. I checked my records and yes, one of the tires was less than a year old and they were pushing me to replace it. I told them I would only be buying three tires. They rang me up for four regardless and I had to correct them. Back to the A/C issue. I brought the car in around noon and they stated they had to get the compressor from another shop and the labor would take approximately 7 hours so they would just barely not be able to finish. I was leaving town that Friday so I didn't need the car. I told them I could drop it off Thursday afternoon and pick it up Monday. They agreed it would be ready. I dropped the car off on Thursday afternoon at 4 pm. On Monday afternoon, I flew back into town and call the store. "Oh no sir, your car is not ready. It should be ready tonight." I call 30 minutes before closing and they say it won't be ready until Tuesday at 10. This is obviously a massive inconvenience since I wont have my car for work the next day. I work out travel arrangements with my gf (thanks for being amazing babe) and at 1000 am I call Firestone. "Oh no sir, its not ready yet. It should be ready in two hours tops. We will call you." They don't call. I call again. They say it will be another two hours. Finally I show up at 2pm and its till not ready. I decide to wait until its ready. 45 minutes later its ready. As compensation, they offer me a $50 discount. Oh, and they charged me to refill my A/C (keep in mind they had previously charged me for the ineffective first recharge where they claimed they had identified the problem). They make a point to show me the greasy compressor (why is a compressor greasy?) and identify where the leak was. They also say the delay took so long because they hadn't seen that type of compressor before. I drive a 2010 Ford Focus. Only one of the most common cars in America. Additionally, after I picked up my car my driver side door no longer properly closes, and there is an audible valve-like sound coming from A/C under my steering wheel (the compressor may be too large for the car). But hey, I still have cold A/C at the moment so that's a blessing I suppose. To sum up, absolutely terrible service. They said it was a 7 hour job. But despite having an entire weekend to do the job, failed to do it on time again and again. My car has new issues (the door) since getting their service. I would bring it in to be fixed but I'm worried what else might happen to it. And they tried to convince me to purchase parts (a new tire) I clearly did not need. Very poor service. My son left his Ford Focus for an oil change and for them to see if they could remove a mud flap that was touching a tire. They said that it would be $16 to do the job and that they would call me. They never did so when I got a message saying that the car was ready I called and talked to Juan who went to check the car and told me that he did not see a mud flap and that they were only charging me for the oil change. Thinking that it sounded weird I called my son and told him to check for himself before he picked up the car. Sure enough they did not remove the mud flap, told my son that they would have to charge him $100 hr to do the job and that they was not enough time for them to do it any more. The last time we went they charged us $15 for them to install one of their battery. Usually if you buy a battery from a place, they install it for free. I guess not them. Kind of hit or miss. I've taken my car in for oil changes and they've been pretty quick and efficient. But I've also had them give me the hard sell ("Here are 45 things you need to fix today."). That's the kind of thing I hate. I'll be back for another oil change I think, but I'll keep my hand on my wallet when I'm there. read more

My experience with this Firestone was superior, even though they could not do the work. My car broke down 100 miles east of El Paso and I had it towed to this Firestone in the middle of the night. They looked at it in the morning and let me know that they work was beyond their scope and suggested someone who could fix it. No pressure. When I came to meet the 2nd tow truck driver, I had to wait 45 minutes with my dogs. The counter guy (I didn't get his name) was so very generous letting me sit inside the lobby with my dogs. It was almost 100 degrees outside, so air conditioning was a major need. He also let me use his landline, since my cell service did not work in El Paso. All of this was offered to me even though they knew I was not going to do business with them that day and there was no chance of future business since I live in Las Vegas.
