Tiffonnie is the best!!! Got to come here to see her and eat great foodwe come 2 a year and never miss it

The good: clean bathrooms. Nice staff. Big menu. The burger was great. The bad: the bacon is like the kind you get at Wendy's. Maybe thinner. Weak. Definitely need to upgrade your bacon if you offer it as a side. Apparently the anti-carb bun option costs $3 and we didn't know that until we got our bill. If I had known 2 small cheese crisps were gonna cost me $3, I would've just said "no bun". They're not big into tellin you about their up charges either so make sure you kno what sides are normal sides and signature sides.

Fantastic service, quality food, great variety, and decent price! Visited with a group of 8 adults and 4 kids on a Thursday evening. We were seated immediately by an enthusiastic staff. They were very gracious with our party size, and patiently waited as we got situated and perused the lengthy menu. There were a couple of very cool specials (BBQ ribs and chicken legs, potato salad), but their regular menu was plenty enticing as well. Being a large group, we ordered quite the variety. Everything was really great. Portions were a little unbalanced, but for the most part tended on large! Flavors were fantastic, and we were stoked to have found the spot on our journey. Check out the photos I'm posting for more!

As someone who loves indulging in food-related experiences, a private, five-course meal at LaGrange County's Fireside Craft Burgers & Brews on Tuesday night was right up my alley. Joining others from the Supper Club of Michiana, Fireside owners, Chris and Marsha, took our group on a culinary journey through their menu - serving mini versions of the most popular items. And while they may not take themselves seriously, their food, drinks, and hospitality are seriously impeccable! The trip to LaGrange to enjoy the craft brews full menu of YUMMY food and fun ambiance is worth the miles and extra calories!

My husband had one of the specials and it was so large he couldn't finish it. The waitresses always remember us even though we don't get down to Indiana every month. Never have to wait for another beer and the Strawberry Mojito after dinner is to die for. Chris, the owner, usually stops by to say "Hi". It's just a corner restaurant/bar but it has the homey welcome feeling when you walk through the door.

Met my bestie for a girls weekend and discovered this place! It quickly became our favorite place for dinner on two different nights. The staff was friendly and suggested great food and drinks for us. Loved the smoked food smell when you walk in. This place is a local favorite, as it quickly filled up as the night went by. Fun, local place to enjoy great food. Felt like I traveled back in time in this area, loved the quaint, small time vibe. We didn't eat anywhere else besides the hotels continental breakfast and here.

Barely any cheese on their macaroni and cheese.

Very friendly staff and excellent service. Food was delicious! Drinks were hand crafted. Ordered Firecracker Shrimp, Ribeye special and Garlic Butter Chicken. The food came out fast and super fresh! Destination 814 (Lagrange, IN) - "modern" bar in Amish county…read more Made a successful trip to try Destination 814 in Lagrange. We have tried dropping in here during a busy Friday or Saturday dinner hour. The wait can be very long as Destination 814 is rather popular in these parts. You can find Destination 814 near the downtown Lagrange area. Head north on IN 3 or I69 about an hour. Destination 814 is a kind of a "modern" bar located in a more rural-small town area. The inside would remind you of a typical small sports bar (see pictures). The whole place is rather small but nicely decorated with sports stuff. The bar is very attractive - lots of back lit bottles to entice you. It only seats about 11 people. The dining room seats about 46 people. It can handle a couple groups of 6-8 people. There is an outdoor area that will seat about 16 people. The team here was very friendly and hustled the refills and food. They had plenty of help on this night. The menu is not overly large but it seem to have something for everyone (see picture). Salads, burgers, wraps, flatbreads and a variety of entrees are reasonably priced in the $15-20 range. They have a large menu for bourbons, whiskeys, beers and cocktails. Note that none of the drinks have prices - which is becoming more common place. We started with the garlic buns. These are pretty popular and have good reviews for good reasons. They are soft and buttery with a slight garlic taste. The beer cheese had a nice taste and thickness. Easy to dip. Not a strong cheese flavor. My wife had the Crab Rangoon flatbread. She really liked the amount of crab in the sauce. The crunchy wontons were a nice add. The sweet Asian chili sauce was fairly standard. The buttered chicken flatbread (Indian style) sounded delicious as well. My cod basket was very good. Three surprisingly large pieces of fish amongst French fries. The cod was fresh tasting and flaky. The batter was thin and stuck to the fish well. Not a lot of distinguishable seasoning in the batter. The tartar sauce was slightly sweet mayo mixture with a very mild dill taste. The fries were a little bit thicker in size and had a slight crisp. The seasoning gave you some salty southwest styling. Overall, I would encourage you to drop in and try Destination 814. Go early, lunch to 5p, if you are making a special trip...if you want to avoid the big crowd.

Someone definitely took the time to make this place look great.. service was wonderful also. We tried the cinnamon roll, the meatballs were amazing, I had the ricotta toast and my son ordered the prime rib toast. We were already a little full from each having half the cinnamon roll (the icing was some of the best we've ever had but the cinnamon roll tasted a little old, maybe a day or two old) and the meatballs again were so tasty!. I was glad to try the ricotta toast though :)

Spoke + Ivy (west Main Street, FW) - another locally unique dinning experience that deserves a try…read more Spoke + Ivy is located on west Main Street - across the parking lot from Redwood Inn restaurant, if that helps. This restaurant is set in an old building that used to house a pharmacy. It retains the character of the building via the hardwood interiors, tall ceilings, large window views of the street and concrete/industrial ceilings. The interior is nicely decorated with inviting green, brown wood and black accent colors. Table settings were very attractive as well. You can park in the small side lot or on the street. Reservations are easily made on line. The team is very friendly and welcoming. All set the stage for a fun and relaxing dinner experience. Spoke + Ivy has a very small food and specialty cocktail menu. This is the second time we have been here. Each time we found the food to be delicious and the cocktails are uniquely designed. Here is a run down on the food items we ordered: -Focaccia Bread: a mildly sweet, dense/firm bread, slightly airy with a touch of herbs to accent. It is cut into blocks so it is easier to share. The vodka sauce is thin in consistency with a smooth Italian seasoned tomato appeal. Both make for a deliciously simple starter. -Lobster Roll Rangoon: decided to give this a try. It comes out as one large Rangoon - not individual pieces. This means that you must awkwardly cut this shareable into pieces. The slightly crispy & oily wrapper is similar to most crab Rangoon pieces. It has a nice crisp. The inside has shredded pieces of lobster. It was not filled with creme cheese sauce like traditional rangoons - just plain. The green lemon parsley sauce was simply outstanding! It's very fresh, moderately thick and has a slightly tart taste. This added "the sauce" to what the inside of the Rangoon was lacking. -Milanese: nicely breaded chicken that was very moist. The breading is slightly sweet. The fresh bed of arugula salad is a nice add -Prime Rib Pho: this sounded really interesting. It's a smaller/healthier dish. The medium rare prime rib was sliced thin and tender. There wasn't many pieces of prime rib in this dish. The add-ins were fresh and much like you would expect from a Pho dish - just not as much volume. The broth has a chili oil base that gives it a spicier flavor. Overall we really enjoy this relaxed atmosphere and character of the building. The delicious food and cocktails are excellent.
