My wife and I both had the fish and chips. Wasn't anything like the fish served with fish and chips down south. Wasn't very crispy. On the positive side the server was very friendly and served our food quickly and hot. The outdoor seating on the square made it a pleasant experience. I will get a burger if we go back. read more

Great service. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable of their food. Small but roomy place with clean bathroom. Bring a sweater as a bit chilly. No picture of fried ravioli but it was good and marina was delicious but would ask for that to be heated next time. Pizza was really good. First time trying a cream cheese base but we liked it. This place has such a unique atmosphere and feel to it. It isn't anything fancy by any means. Definitely a bar & grill kinda feel more than a pizza place. They have so many menu options to pick from. Literally something for everyone. They have daily specials that are budget friendly. The service was great and food was out within minutes. Hot and fresh. Mozzarella sticks. Average. But good. Get the ranch to go with them. The ranch is AMAZING. Chicken bacon ranch flatbread- good. Eat fresh tho lol. Pita chips & beer cheese definitely worth a try. Monument Pizza Pub offers much more than pizza. I stopped in with some family after a morning full of shopping around town. We split the pretzel appetizer which came with 3 pretzel sticks and a cheese dipping sauce. They were fluffy and delicious. I had the Buffalo chicken salad and it was very good. Lots of crispy chicken and fresh veggies on the salad. I would order again. My MIL got the fish tacos and said they were great. My SIL got the BBQ chicken salad and said it was very good. We all left happy and full. Service was fast and friendly. If you're in the area, I recommend stopping in for a casual lunch! read more

My family went here at 3pm on a Tuesday. It was great. I liked the inside. The pizza was fantastic. The service was excellent. We had pie and it was great too. I would go back anytime. The pizza was fully loaded with toppings. I like that. The cheese was thick and delicious. I could have used more sauce but I find that is the case at most pizza joints. I would not worry about it if I came back. I would use the word Fresh to describe the pizza and its toppings. They offer beer and cocktails too. My family was very satisfied. I liked being in the circle in Angola too. Great location. The restroom was very clean. All positive things for this locally owned pizza joint! read more

Pizza cook tried to tell me the pizza was done and he was offended I sent it back. Here's a tip to the cook: if you press on dough and it doesn't bounce back then it means it's not done. Also, the pizza isn't done if the cheese isn't browned. Don't get offended by customer feedback, embrace it. Look at the picture, you can't flatten the dough to a paper thin disk with properly cooked dough. I was actually going to give this place a 3/4 star review until the cook got offended and the waitress gave be attitude. I understand COVID is difficult but that doesn't mean you can treat customers like this. Embrace feedback and get some humility and I'll consider updating the review. read more

Solid 3 stars for Monument! Stopped in while in the area on a Friday evening for dinner. It's located right off the round-about not far from Trine University. The interior is pretty plain with seating, a small bar and TV's on the wall. Our waitress was super sweet and took good care of. They were running a special with $3 margaritas so we decided to grab a few. Unfortunately, we got what we paid for. They were super tart and hard to drink. We decided to try the truffle fries to start. They were just okay, and could have used a bit more flavor IMHO. For pizza we decided to go with the Philly Cheesesteak Pizza. It was pretty tasty! A delicious assortment of light lunches and filling dinners! The cost is much less than expected for the type of food you get. I have gotten several items off their menu and have yet to be disappointed. Their staff is always friendly and it's only 1 of 2 restaurants on the mound. We started with the mozzarella sticks and they were really good. I had the monument salad with each dressing. It was really good and very fresh. My son had the plain Jane burger. Great little place in Angola. Used to be Pint'n'Slice but changed names and owners I guess? Came home to visit from Houston and my mom took me here. We were able to sit outside on the patio which was really nice. Had the philly cheese steak sandwich with fries. The sandwich was hot, the cheese melted perfectly, and it wasn't overly salty! The fires were cooked to perfection and crispy, not soggy. The atmosphere was laid back and comfortable. Can't wait to come again when I come home. read more

2nd visit here, wife & I tries the personal pizzas tonight. She had the alacarte meat version, I had th chicken bacon ranch. Very tasty and filling. We also had the onion twizzler app- Not Recommended- try something else. Service was good, and the tap beer is ice cold. We'll come back. read more

The food is very fresh and made special. These are meals with mature chef recipes as they are prepared by one of the local chefs with many years of experience.. The burgers are amazing, using a special blend of meat. And the pies? Whoa! Great food, great atmosphere, service and prices. We were in Angola this past weekend for a softball tournament. There were a lot of people in town and restaurants were very busy. Searching through Google Maps, we found Monument Pizza Pub.
