You can dock up, walk in and either dine in or take your food out. Ordering by phone was easy and they texted us when they were ready, pretty quick. Unfortunately the pizzas themselves were a let down. 2 large with toppings and 1 small cheese for $70. The toppings were sparse, compare our pizzas va the photos on their website, and the cheese on the cheese pizza was cheddar. The crust was thin and crispy, similar to Dominos thin. Probably will pass on pizza here next time. The ambiance seems nice here. Also, they serve The Chocolate Shop ice cream from Wisconsin which I did not get to try, but it is says super premium ice, which is ice cream on another level. A few examples of super premium include Costco brand vanilla, Trader Joe's vanilla, Members Mark super premium at Sam's, and Aldi Super Premium vanilla. I think the Kirkland is the best.

I've have their pizza a couple of times and highly recommend it! The restaurant itself is kind of small, which means it can feel a bit crowded some nights. One fun aspect of Dark Horse, however, is that the walls (and ceilings!) are lined with custom mugs, each belonging to a Dark Horse regular. This gives the bar a special charm that makes it feel unique. Something to note is that the service can be pretty slow when they're busy.

It was decent enough for me to eat it all, but could have been a little better. I read other reviews referring to their burgers as dry so when asked how I'd like to have it cooked I said as raw as you will allow. See pic but still well done. Easy solution to dry meat is not over cook it. A higher temp grill with less time. The other recommendation I'd make is have the mushrooms between the meat and cheese. That way the mushrooms have a better chance of staying put. My wife really liked her Reuben.

The team here asked us to order at the bar before being seated. I don't know if that is their normal process. If it is...it might work well for the restaurants logistics but it creates a less than desirable dinning feel for me. The order takers were very friendly and helpful. They hustled to process the train passengers. The seating area is a large open room. It feels like an old factory turned beer garden. The floors are a nice hardwood. Not much decor or atmosphere in this large room. They did have a singer as entertainment which wasn't the best. For food I started with the potstickers. These weren't your traditional Chinese potsticker. They were over fried and tough. The filling was vegan instead of pork. It didn't work for me and wasn't very tasty. Kinda tough and flavorless. The sweet chili sauce really helped. I also tried the BBQ Mac Burrito. The BBQ was good but not very plentiful. It was a bit hard to find that taste. The Mac & Cheese was nice and creamy. The noodles were soft. Served alone I think they would be fine. Stuffed in a burrito....not a fan of. Please be aware that they don't give free refills on soda. We didn't have table service outside of someone dropping off food. Overall I will give them four stars for opening up special for the train tour. Otherwise I was rather unimpressed with this establishments process and food.

There is a lot to see and take in. There is plenty of seating for large groups, a quiet date, or family dinner.
