    Smokes Cream Cheese Mushroom Burger
    Paul Yelp N.

Will definitely come back and try something they are more known for like the perch. I had the Smoke Cream Cheese Mushroom Burger. It was decent enough for me to eat it all, but could have been a little better. I read other reviews referring to their burgers as dry so when asked how I'd like to have it cooked I said as raw as you will allow. See pic but still well done. Easy solution to dry meat is not over cook it. A higher temp grill with less time. The other recommendation I'd make is have the mushrooms between the meat and cheese. That way the mushrooms have a better chance of staying put. My wife really liked her Reuben.

I love that they've repurposed the grain mill into a restaurant! The menu offers a good variety of beer/cocktails and American pub food. The service was quick and efficient. We stopped by around 5pm and had no wait being seated. I ordered the smoked mac & cheese with pulled pork and garlic bread. The portion was pretty large and the pork was good. My husband got a BBQ pork sandwich with coleslaw and a side of onion rings. We really enjoyed the draft beer, Crazy Beaver, as well. Would try this place again!

We came in around 3 on a Saturday. The restaurant was pretty packed and all the servers seemed super busy running around constantly. We were seated immediately and our service was quick. Our food came out super fast and our waitress was efficient. The food was freakingggg amazing. We got the nuts and berries salad, the loaded baked potato soup, and the steak Cesar wrap with truffle parm fries. It is very rare that any food outshines a truffle parm fry for me but the soup and the wrap were by far the star of the show. (The truffle parm fries were still amazing tho) the ranch and Cesar dressing seemed to be made in house and were soooo amazing. Overall, recommend this place like a bajillion times over. (Sorry the pics are half eaten the food was just too good)

    Grain Elevator sandwich w/ tots

Very friendly service in a historic building. I ordered the Grain Elevator. It's not your average cold, ham, turkey, and bacon club. This sandwich has grilled ham and turkey with crispy bacon on toasted sourdough bread. Fantastic flavor with fresh produce on the sandwich

We stopped in and ordered all apps! The burnt end hot dogs, smoked whitefish dip, and tater tots. This is such a gorgeous building -just watch your step, the floor is stunning but a little uneven with age! Staff were really friendly. The whitefish dip was good -lots of dill, which I like, but I couldn't really taste the smoky fish. The hot dogs were a dark horse surprise. I made fun of my partner for ordering, but I went back for thirds! They're weird, but oddly good and the Texas toast really makes the meal. The tots were good, ya can't go wrong with tots! All in all, it was good! Price-wise I think perhaps a smidge high ($35 for 2 appetizers and a basket of tots), but not so high that we won't be back at some point.

DATE & TIME OF VISIT: September 14, 2024 @ 1:11pm. They were not too busy (there was no wait line). AMBIANCE & CLEANLINESS: Such a neat place to visit, it is located in the old Plainwell buckwheat mill and all the character is still beaming through. When we were walking up there were many pleasant smells lingering outside. We were seated at a six top table in the center of the dinning room. HOSTESS & SERVER: The hostess was fine, not the friendliest. Our server (longer blonde hair with glasses) was very nice, she explained anything we had questions on. The only thing we would say is service in general is SLOW, so plan to be sitting awhile waiting to order, get food, etc. FOOD: This is what we ordered.... Buffalo Cheese Curds -- Taste: was good, your basic cheese curds with some red hot sauce on it. Portion size: small but did come with a large ranch cup for dipping (we had 3/4 of the ranch left). Price: $11 (OVERPRICED). Fried Green Beans -- Taste: these were very good, not greasy, lightly breaded. Size: small but did come with a large ranch cup for dipping (we had 3/4 of the ranch left). Price: $9 (OVERPRICED). The Bronco Burger -- Taste: ordered "pink" (you are given the choice of pink or no pink), burger was juicy, good flavor. Size: average (normal size for most burgers at restaurants). Price: $14.50, 8oz. Patty with L,T,O. Sub for onion rings which costs an extra $3.00 (overpriced for the amount you get). The Surf & Turf Burger -- Taste: ordered "pink" (you are given the choice of pink or no pink), burger was juicy, good flavor. Size: average (normal size for most burgers at restaurants). Price: $16.00, 8oz. Patty. Philly Cheesesteak -- Taste: had decent flavor but we have had better. Size: small size compared to other Phillys we have had before, not a lot of filling. Price: $14.50. Sub Parmesan-Truffle fries instead of the kettle chips which costs an extra $3.00 (overpriced for the amount you get & we're basically regular fries, did t taste like truffle). Old Mill's FamousWet Burrito -- Taste: good flavor, but was too heavy on the refried beans. Size: small size compared to other burritos we have had before, not a lot of beef filling but too much refried beans. Price: $18.50. (OVERPRICED) OVERALL THOUGHTS: Paid $110 which felt a bit overpriced for the portion sizes. Server was very kind but service in general was slow. It's not a big place so it may be a wait if they are busy. Atmosphere is wonderful, love the history in the building, so make sure you walk around and check the building out throughly. WOULD I RETURN? Yes, but we would not be actively seeking this place out again for a meal.

First time here. Amazing! Excellent atmosphere, fun waiting area with pinball machines, friendly and attentive staff and all of us loved our food (we had pulled pork, olive burger, walleye fish fry, kids meals and a club sandwich wrap). I think this place is underrated! We will be back in a heartbeat.

Now to the real part of why this is 1 star, we ordered food around 6:05 no big deal it was going to take about 20 mins, so we drove into town about 10 minutes out. We got the call from the hostess stating they did not have the pulled pork tacos anymore (this was a weird phone call and interaction), we then placed a different order in, which is no big deal and I figured it would delay the food to come out. I went in and waited about 15-20 minutes for the food to come out. I paid and left (they also had one side of the bar closed, which was kind of strange for a Friday night). Got home with the food and we ordered 3 orders of the fish and chips, an order of the Baja fish tacos, and newly changed, smoked Turkey Reuben. Apparently the menu was changed to just one6 oz piece of fish, instead of 2 3 oz pieces, which honestly you should have 2 6 oz pieces because it is kind of ridiculous to have one piece of fish of fish an chips, I feel the standard is even having 3 pieces at most restaurants. We called the manager and she was polite and understood the situation and gave us a full refund. I just think for the owners, you guys really have to rethink this menu sometimes. Like one piece of fish is not enough to feed a person, 2 pieces minimum should be the requirement.

The kids disappeared into the games so fast I briefly considered filing a missing persons report before realizing they were just... happy. As a parent, I experienced something I hadn't felt in years: finishing an entire meal while it was still warm. I almost cried. The pizza is offensively good. My cardiologist has specifically asked me not to be tagged in any more of my Yelp reviews, but if you're reading this, Steve... mind your own business. Some relationships are worth fighting for, and mine with this pizza is one of them. The beer was fantastic. Every pint tasted like it was brewed by someone who actually enjoys making beer instead of someone trying to impress a guy named Chad who owns three flannel shirts and says things like, "I'm getting notes of pine and emotional unavailability." The place is huge, which is exactly what every parent dreams of. The kids sprinted off to the games, the dog made about 47 new friends, and for a glorious 20 minutes nobody asked me to open a juice box, settle a courtroom-level dispute over whose turn it was, or inspect a mysterious object they found on the floor. I wasn't parenting anymore. I was just a guy eating incredible pizza in public. One Well somehow found the perfect balance between brewery, family hangout, dog park, and therapy session. I walked in stressed, left full, and briefly convinced myself I could handle having more kids. Thankfully that feeling wore off before I got to the parking lot

Started off strong with the breakfast burrito. It was so good! I don't know if it had a cheese sauce or just melted American cheese, but it was a good balance of cheese, hash browns, eggs and sausage. The munchwrap was awesome with chorizo sausage, hash browns, a tostada for crunch and cheese all grilled up in a flour tortilla. Last and our least liked was the Cheddar Bay Biscuit bowl. I like the concept, but the execution was poor. The biscuit had been microwaved damn near to death. It was hard to cut through with a knife. The consistency was somehow soggy and hard while also chewy. Add to that the saltiest sausage gravy ever. We each ate one bite, said no thank you and tossed it. Everything else was so good, this might just be a bad one off, but I don't think I could be convinced to try it again.
