Ordered the philly cheesesteak and was very well done, the chipotle sauce and the cheese matched very well with the steak and peppers.

We had the day off and decided to take a day trip because that's what we do! This was on our list of places today so we could grab the tags in this area. We really loved it here. Street parking was free and the Downton area was adorable! We loved the atmosphere here and there was a lot to look at! We sat at the bar and ordered our beers. They were delicious and cold. We also decided on loaded fries because we had been drinking all day and it was a necessary move. Well we must have been hungry because we chowed them prior to getting a pic! Haha. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend it to others.

Overcooked fish and chips. At least the Tatar sauce was tasty.

Had a girl's day lunch here. I had never been before, so was excited to try it out and checked the menu ahead of time. I had it narrowed down to a few choices. The waitress was eh. It was lunch time on a Friday. I get it. She asked us if we wanted appetizers and then got sidetracked and left with out our appetizer order. Finally ordered lunch and the appetizers. Appetizers came out pretty speedy and were good. Green beaners were delicious. Pretzel nubs were just ok. The dips were too cold to even dip into. Food seemed to take a long time. And boy let me tell you. It wasn't worth the wait. At least not my entrée. I ordered the fish and chips. The "chips" fries were good. The fish was overcooked so much that the meat of the fish actually disappeared. Every one else's looked good. I wouldn't make the 40 mins drive there again.

Brewmaster Burger with fries

First time visiting Walldorff. It was a great walking in to brewery equipment on display. We were greeted with a friendly smile but brought to a booth where the menus and wrapped silverware were tossed on the table. The booth seats have clearly sat thousands as they were cracked and in poor condition. We tried the Brewmaster burger with fries and the Longhorn burger. The fries were delicious and reminded me of a thicker cut McDonald's fry when I was a kid in the 90's. The Brewmaster burger is worth a visit alone. The bee sting bbq has a sweet flavor which pairs perfectly with the grilled onions and bacon. The Longhorn burger is a lean beef which showed in the flavor. I wouldn't recommend without extra condiments. Along with the meal we tried the BS Honey Ale and Bistro Blond. Both were delicious.

Nice bar and restaurant, we couldn't stay as our friends wanted to meet somewhere else. We just had a couple of drinks. My margarita was okay, it seems as if they used sprite or worse seltzer water to make it, and I did not like it.

I enjoyed this place! I showed up kind of late on a week night... so I decoded to play it safe and order easy. This place was a great find.. the sweet potato fries... my goodness.. I'd go back just for them! the staff was pretty great too

Always a great place to stop for food or drinks. Saturday night at 6:10pm (during March Madness) we were able to walk right in and get a table in the bar area. Very cool setting and decor. Every few months on a Saturday night they have a Comedy Club upstairs -$10. Tonight we ordered the Dijon Chicken special and I subbed out the spaetzle and wilted spinach for the cracked pepper mashed potatoes. The special also came with a house salad. Wow! So good The other meal that we ordered was the Bistro Steak which was cooked and seasoned to perfection and a side of mashed potatoes. The French onion was tasty, just a little thicker than I prefer. At about 6:15 the restaurant really picked up and we would have had a 30-45 minute wait. So don't wait too late to go. We also like the fact that they have a pool table, shuffleboard and a bunch of board games.

This is a charming small town brewery. We can count on the quality of the food and brews delivering without having to drive to Grand Rapids!

Amazing service and great food. It's an amazing little hangout, and even has bigger rooms for big gatherings or events.

I've been there twice now…read more First night (Saturday) there was very loud, derogatory rap music playing. Families with kids eat there, they should not have to hear stuff like that. It was very hard to communicate with the server due to the noise. The actual menu is a lot smaller then what is shown on their website. Especially fish options. I had grouper tenders which were small and mostly breading. Not worth it. Fries were excellent. Tartar sauce appeared to be pure mayo, no sign of relish or lemon at all. Ketchup, mustard, and salt were the only condiments on the table, not sure if anything else was available, like cider vinegar or even pepper. It's a pub, you would think all that stuff to be automatic. Second night (9 pm Sunday) I tried to go elsewhere because of my previous night's experience, but not many other options. Most of Alma was already closed. Tonight there was no music playing, so I was able to have a conversation. I had the olive burger with steak fries, my son had boneless wings with Thai sauce and waffle fries. Everything was very good, and a good value for the money. I guess I need a third night to be a tie-breaker.

Really enjoyed our visit to this pub. The service here was great, staffing was limited but you…read morewould have NEVER have known. There was a care for customers that is a little more uncommon during these difficult times. Jen was our server/bartender, she had some great advice on whiskey tasting and mixed some solid cocktails....even has her own creations. Delish! The food was unique too. Really liked the jalapeno/onion strips and battered green beans. Delicious olive burger and waffle fries. If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy a meal, want a taste of pre 2020 service, this is a great bet. This industry continues to be plagued with labor shortages and I don't envy them one bit but it sure is refreshing to hit those high notes during these difficult times while enjoying a good meal and supporting a small business. I can tell that the good people of Braveheart Pub really appreciate it!

The indoor/ outdoor space blends together in the warmer months with cool hangout spaces and game areas. This place is truly a work of art. Drink lists abound, but because it was lunchtime we stuck to food. We were not disappointed. Everything was well conceived and delicious. I can't wait to come back and try the bone bread next time, stew and scrumptious sounding salads. Today we had the kids smash burger, Brussels burger with frites and fried haddock and frites with a delicious coleslaw. The best part? Different sauces to choose to dip the fries in. The curry ketchup was the best (special shout out for *actually* cooking the curry into the ketchup) as it did not taste of raw curry. They definitely don't cut corners here. We noticed, and we appreciated it. We will be back.

Yes, they have a small parking lot, and don't fret if you have the park on the street like we did, as we were seating promptly and it didn't feel too crowded. Since we were seated at high tops near the bar, the bar tender was our waitress, and she is literally the nicest, good energy, engaging human ever! She also whips up the custom, creative mimosa recipes, kudos to her for her awesomeness! I ordered the Shakshuka, flavorful, delicious, would order again. Even as a non-vegan, it was satisfying and would recommend to everyone. Husband had the 1964 Worlds Fair Waffle, and it was tiny. Not what you envision when you think of Belgian waffles. He also ordered the Belgian Forest Bacon, again VERY small portion, so much so that at the end of the meal, he had to order a side of the Smashed Maple Sausage. Both our drinks (I had the mimosa) were fantastic and worth ordering, loved the glassware! Aside from the small portions of waffle, bacon, and sausage, the cheerful vibes here are contagious, and I'd dine here again in a heartbeat!
