Sitting across the street from the courthouse in Albion is a gem of foodie find! Advertised as a friendly place to meet, the owner served us and was exceptionally friendly to us. Her goal is make the customer feel like family. Today's special was Salisbury steak , mashed potatoes, green beans and gravy. I did not have it but my husband had it and he rated it a 5/5. I had the breaded tenderloin and French fries which was excellent as well. Decor is a nice clean bar/restaurant with beer signs and a huge picture of a steam engine. Overall, a great experience! Ran across this place while ABNB Albion for fishing. Excellent ,fresh food and staff. I had the rib eye which was prepared as asked , juicy and flavorful, hot fresh baked potato. Husband had pork chop whish was cooked to perfection and also juicy and flavorful. Would Highly recommend to everyone. Wow! Terrible service! Sat at the bar for almost 15 minutes waiting for barmaid to tear herself away from a long conversation with someone at the other end of the bar. I ordered a petty melt rare with French fries. Which were ala cart. it arrived in a timely manner However, it was beyond well done and extremely low quality meat. Very tough and hard to chew. The ala cart fries was an extremely small portion! I overheard the lady next to me Complaining that her Burger was also very tough. In my opinion, the cooks are amateurs. This is not the mom and pop local eatery you've grown accustomed to. For a small town, the menu is intriguing and the price point is much different than most places within 20 miles. We shared the hummus plate. So uncommon the chef actually came to the table to ensure we actually wanted the item. Served with red onion, cucumber, olives and pita points along with the worlds smallest baby carrots I've ever seen. The hummus is a little bland. I had the special for the evening: beef medallions. The medallions were very different in size and were served with a choice of two sides. We all had salads with their wonderful house dressing. The medallions were smoked then brought to a medium temp. Tender but not overly juicy. I opted for no gravy which was to be on top. I had the corn hash side which was just okay. My brother had a breaded tenderloin that he said was delicious. We shared the Brussels Sprouts. A large amount of aioli is placed across the dish. I don't think it's necessary as they were good without the topping. The menu is diverse. Good quality food and friendly service. You won't be disappointed. It is obvious that these folks have decades of experience.

Have ate here three times now. First time was dinner with the wife. We had the Rosemary Gnocchi appetizer it was out standing. I had the Cajun Shrimp on Polenta, veggies and pineapple salsa again it was outstanding. Wife had the Noble Pork Burger cheddar cheese, pineapple bacon chutney, and bbq sauce she loved it. Second visit was for a couple beers and a appetizer we had the Gravlax BLT this is one of the best BLT's I've ever had the smoked salmon was top notch. Third trip for lunch had the Pork Stacker pub fries, smoked pulled pork cheddar cheese and bbq sauce. Was very disappointed in this dish the menu said hickory smoked pork I couldn't taste any smoke no smoke ring and no bark. The cheese was almost no existent. I believe the pork was roasted in an oven. I don't know but I don't believe they have a smoker on the property if they are sourcing it from someone else the need to find a better source. I really want this restaurant to succeed. But there are issues. On the positive side the braised brussel sprouts are amazing. The burgers are good, and you'll find a decent selection of beer on tap. Jay, the owner is passionate about the business, but the service can be hit or miss. They are open for carry out which might be the best option until they get the kinks worked out. Wonderful dinner a few nights ago for 5 of us. Several had the fish special. Lightly breaded and not greasy, it was a great choice! My brother had a steak. He is very much a critic when it comes to steak, and he said it was the best steak he's had for quite a while. Coming from him, that is high praise! Salads were fresh and the dressings were great. Scored me a great find for local cuisine today! One10 West Main was outstanding! The ambiance was very casual and comfortable, but they didn't lose their class-not something easily done for sure. I ordered an appetizer called "Fried Cheese"...SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOD! It's a thick layer of melted cheese on top of a bowl of (I think) feta cheese served with sliced bread to dip it in. I haven't had anything like it before and was mad MY TOWN doesn't have it? Anyway, has the grilled chicken sandwich meal and it definitely didn't disappoint either! Wonderful new addition to Albion and perhaps the best restaurant in Noble county. We live out of state, and we come over to see family several times a year. We have often commented that the area needed something special to gather and eat. Now, there is such a place. One 10 west Main is a friendly, comfortable place with a great staff. The food is excellent. We've tried the pork burger with pineapple chutney, the burger, and the rosemary gnocchi. All yummy with sophisticated flavors in simple dishes. The staff is courteous and efficient. We felt very welcome and well served. Lots of craft beers to chose from in addition to the regular bar fare. If you're looking for Casual Fine Dining in rural Indiana, this is the place for you. Out of five trips, I've tried something new each time - it's all good. The ribeye is the best you'll get outside of your home grill (it's better than Fleming's imo). The Main Street Burger (their namesake/signature burger) is out of this world, the secret is the locally sourced beef, and the incredible bacon jam. A decent chicken breast is hard to do, especially fresh (not a frozen breast like Applebee's), and One10 West Main knocks it out of the park - the asparagus and cheesy corn sides were the best I'd ever had (cheese and corn? Yep, it actually works very well together). The Baked Cheese, Macaroni and Cheese, and Pulled Pork Burger are tops as well. Most recently, I had the Cajun Shrimp - I was pleasantly surprised to see how plump and large the prawns were when the dish came out. They were the size of small lobster tails and served with a rich and creamy polenta with roasted peppers for a kick. The prawns themselves were perfectly seasoned, and tasted just like lobster, and very fresh! As I was surprised with the cheesy corn that's served with the chicken -I was equally surprised with the al dente seasoned brussel sprouts - brussel sprouts and shrimp? You bet! It's well worth it, and tasty! The restaurant just finished their soft opening, and has worked out all of their kinks. They celebrated the grand opening on 12/26, and are ready to serve you! is still getting their serve-staff trained. When you visit be sure to start off with one of the 14 beers on draft (all local Indiana breweries, I prefer the PB Sammich), or try one of the signature drinks like the Gateway (made with Hotel Tango Bourbon - a subtle nod to the distillery's Albion roots), and you'll be very glad that you did. tldr: Why go to a chain restaurant with average food when you can have GREAT food for less at ONE10 West Main? read more

We stopped by for lunch. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food was fast and yummy. I liked the variety of unique options. We got a cheese and bread plate appetizer. Very very friendly place which is not a surprise. The bartender was very thankful to have our business. The waiter was young but knew how to work with our very outgoing group. No one was disappointed with their food. They had $4 beers that were also great. We sampled some beers outside of that and they were all good. A nice selection of draft beer. "The best small restaurant/bar in Noble county." Too bold of a statement? Maybe, but in my mind I'm going through the list of local eateries within 15-20 miles, and I don't think anything comes close to this place. Too quick of a proclamation? Maybe. This week is just their "soft open" but everything seemed to be clicking tonight. The menu options look to have been carefully chosen with price points to accommodate all. There is even a children's menu with a few selections, giving the claim of being a "family & kid friendly" environment teeth. 100% smoke free is also a wonderful choice they have made. Food quality, preparation, presentation, delivery and service are all top notch. Pulled pork was excellent, steak was cooked just right, and the chicken entrees were spot on. Sides of vegetables and sweet potato fries all complimented the main dishes. Fourteen craft beers on tap, with several from local breweries, will please any palette. Along with the beer there is a full bar boasting specialty drinks. The pumpkin cheesecake we shared at the end of our meal was so smooth and balanced it basically melted in your mouth. Interior of this old bar has been cleaned up, brightened up, and modernized in places. Love the colors, industrialized fixtures, and wooden floor. The 'old' is still here which adds to the atmosphere. Huge new windows were installed recently which really opens up visibility going both ways. Really cool brass rail cleanly breaks the dining area from the bar, and the lighting fixtures from both areas smartly represent both location and mood where they are placed. Wow! Albion has a fantastic new restaurant! My husband & I ordered the special; Cajun grouper with bacon jam, served with cheesy gnocchi and fresh green beans. It was outstanding in every way! We also shared Portobello Albion, with grilled onions and baked cheese. (They substituted sautéed cherry tomatoes for the red peppers for me.)This was another fabulous & vegan option. They have a nice selection of craft beers, wines, and specialty cocktails. Service was perfect & atmosphere was clean and modern, but classic. What a surprise! Thank you Yelp for guiding us to this new found treasure.Looking for lunch some where near while leaving Chain of Lakes, we ended up at One10 West Main. The gravlax blt and the pork burger were absolute amazing, however it was hard to decide what to bite into because the reg fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned while the sweet potato fries came with a side of caramel that put them over the top. The staff was friendly, the portions were large and it is always fun when the owner comes to the table and treats you like regulars.
