Cost: Based on invoices I had from past services, I had estimated the cost after adjusting for inflation. I was aghast at the estimates I was getting back, 2-3 times greater than I calculated. However, One Chimney was the only one who was in my estimated range. Service day: Ben was a total sweetheart! So kind and friendly! He was focused and astutely aware, ultimately providing superb services! Post service: The follow up correspondence was respectful and once again, no surprises, well other than some repairs that I'll need to address, but no pressure was placed upon me to do this post haste. Conclusion: I am thankful to find a company still in the area offering top notch services while not hopping on the "jack the heck out of prices" bandwagon.

The problem with ours was the pilot kept going off & on for several months then completely went off. Asher immediately found the problem. I think it took more time to unscrew the face plate. They said they would be there between 1 and 4 pm. I called them just before 4 pm, and they said I wasn't on his schedule, and they don't service our area. Okay, back to square one, very frustrating.

Now fireplace doesn't work. I asked this company to inspect the other companies work. Give me an estimate. He said the wiring not correct and pilot assembly was bent and not correct and he fixed it. Worked one day and now not working. They ignored my calls in fact hanging up on me. Then finally get the tech on the phone and he accused me of going in to my fireplace and breaking it myself. Ridiculous! Plus he never had permission to work on it. He just did it. Said it was working and then charged me for it and demanded payment that day. Should do estimate and get permission first. I have been patient but I have now called my bank to dispute with them now. I paid for a working fireplace not a broken one. Two companies now are horrible. Where are good companies?
