The job took (maybe?) 10 minutes and involved the lower panel being unclipped, then two gas valves being turned up a bit higher. No cleaning, no safety inspection, nor were we told before the job what the minimum change would be. The service was fine and our fireplace is now working well, but I think that even the reduced price of $200 is steep for a quick in-and-out job.

Come March 2025 we had a leak. It took quite a while to get them out for a fix. Come holiday time 2025 the leak which had been fixed was back, so we called. The person we spoke to said they weren't sure if someone could come out that day. We waited three weeks while water was coming into our living room every time it rained for a call back. We had to hire another roofing company to fix the leak. They fixed it in three days. We still have to fix the water damage. Then we got a text in January 2026 asking if we still needed to have someone fix our leak....seriously?!

I waited almost two months after the repair to write this review because I wanted to be sure it held up. It has. We have had several rainstorms since the repair, and the ceiling is still dry. It was Saturday morning when I called, a real person answered the phone, and within an hour Luis showed up. He inspected the roof (in the rain) and attic, found that the leak was coming from an attic vent, and explained that the shingles had not been properly lapped over the vent flashing. It was bumped up against a copper wire and literally melting. He quickly repaired that, explaining as he went along. Discovered some other glitches and needed to come back a second time, in 2 days with an ordered part that he replaced. Now the heater is working correctly and that was well worth the money.
