Location is excellent. Grounds are fine. We have a 40' motorhome and didn't have any issues getting in or out. We RV so I didn't use the bathrooms. I can't speak to cleanliness and maintenance in that regard Biggest complaint is that we decided to stay an extra night, and they said that would be no problem, except that we'd have to change spots since the one we were in was booked for the extra night we wanted. This was fine. However, after they charged us, they said we would have to leave the premises at checkout and return hours later at check in. This was unexpected and didn't work with our plans to explore the park. Being in a 40' motorhome, we didn't have any place to leave our RV for 4 hours. That was the whole reason we booked another night. We lived and traveled in our RV all over North America for a year and this has never happened. They said they needed us to leave to "clean" the site. I'm not sure why you need to clean a strip of gravel. When we asked for a cancellation and refund of the extra night literally within hours of asking to extend the stay, they refused because they said cancellations must be done within 24 hours. Which was impossible because we only asked to extend the stay a couple hours ago. Super weird and unreasonable situation. read more

Do not stay at this place, pass it up. Horrible RV park. For $125 a you get no wifi, DIRTY COLD SHOWERS. RV spaces are packed in so tight maybe 10 feet between each site slide ins can almost touch. No dog park ,weeds, insects just filthy. read more

First off, we had to go to another part of the park, not connected. Second, very difficult to move a large rig, ours a 33 foot with a tow dolly and car. Third, the gravel pad was not wide enough, both my outside wheels were in the grass. Fourth, you could not park your car on the grass, so I had to disconnect the tow dolly and slide it under my rig. Fifth, the sewage was on an upward slope and my lifers would not go high enough, so I had to undo the connection and lift the end of the pipe to empty all the waste. Last, the ground was so uneven I tripped several times trying to move around my rig. We camped at Fireside Buffalo Valley RV Park in a Motorhome. read more

Dirty, gross, park. ZERO stars. When i was checking in, the two people checking me in were fine with me pulling into my site because they thought I was in a truck towing a RV. When I said that I'm actually in a drivable RV and towing my Jeep, they suddenly insisted that I unhitch my Jeep before turning into the spot 'because it's a really tight turn, and we're trying to keep the grass nice'. I told them I've been in tighter sites than this without unhitching so I'll be fine. They tried to argue with me about it! So you're ok with my truck towing my RV, but not my RV towing my truck? There is no logic in their thinking. As predicted, I had no need to unhitch. As far as 'trying to keep the grass nice' - there was no grass! Only green weeds and dead areas and maybe some grass mixed in but it was awful. There are rodents & their holes all over the campsites! Mosquitoes are abundant even though they claim to spray for them. The bathrooms and showers are DISGUSTING!! Spiders everywhere, dirty, old paint on the walls that's bubbling up and falling off. I doubt they clean those showers ever. So gross. I read the reviews before I booked but I booked anyway. Buyer beware. read more

Very nice campground.... Nice views of the Tetons... Checkin was easy and someone guided us to our site. Plenty of space although a bit tight exiting once all spots were filled..... we are a big rig though 42 ft 5th wheel and a 350 dually pulling her. Shower and laundry looked clean and although there's no fences in dog area there are big grassy areas to walk them in. read more

Who locks their bathrooms overnight?!?! They allow dry/car camping (no tents), and we need to go to the bathroom at night!! Nice store and the bar was the place to be. The two younger girls at checkout were super nice and helpful. Great name for the place, but a lackluster RV "park". And NO wi-fi! read more

Other than the location, this place is terribly run and the workers are rude. Let me preface this by saying there was a significant amount of rain before we got there and that didn't help the situation. I was directed into my spot from a 12' wide road to a 10' wide spot. It was newly renovated and had soft dirt on both sides of the space. Because the angularity of the spots is too sharp for large rigs (I'm 57' with truck and 5th Wheel) I sank in the mud up to the axles. They had to get a small tractor to pull me out while I drove backwards in 4 wheel drive. After 30 minutes they were successful wanted to put me in a spot 2 slots down with the same issue. I asked to be moved where there was some grass and was told they were booked and couldn't move me. This was a lie because I looked in the park during the week and it was about 70% full until the day we departed. They said they would refund my money but at this point, where would I go? You have to make reservations several months in advance in this area. I also overheard one of the workers make a rude comment that I didn't know how to drive. I've been driving a 5th wheel for several years and have never had an issue pulling into a spot. When I checked in, I was told no rugs on the new sod. I put my rug out to cover the muddy tracks (no sod in this spot) and at least have a place to put my chairs and after day two of my rug being out with employees passing by several times per day, I came back to my rug being removed from its spot and stuffed in my steps with a nasty note taped to the door. No stopping to talk and ask me to move the rug, just a nastygram left. I give it 2 stars because at least it had full hookups and the location is 5 miles from the Moran entrance but they are definitely taking advantage of the location and the price is about double of what the place is worth. Good luck if you choose to make your reservations. read more

The location was perfect. Pretty much in the middle of everything. The people who check you in are wonderful. Please make sure you check in at the gas station first so you know where to go. The only real complaint is the cost. This is not a RV resort or a campground really. If you just need a place to park your rig so you can explore this is a good place. read more

While we were going to see the parks close by we picked this RV Park to stay in. The office is in one location and where we parked was down the road. Where we did stay was gravel and very close to other RV's. You couldn't have a fire or open our awning. Then wen we were ready to leave, we had to really move up then back up 3 - 4 times to get out. Not a great place. My suggestion would be find another place that has good WiFi, cable, more room and not as dusty. For what they charge, things should be a ton better. Pick another park. read more

The good: super location, scenic view from the back of the park, fast WiFi, quiet The OK: clean bathrooms and showers The bad: super close sites, unusable fire pits For the price, I expected more from this campground. It was super convenient to Grand Teton National Park, so that was a huge plus, but otherwise it was just like parking in a field. I was looking forward to having a campfire, but the pit was dug in a super odd location and we would have been sitting right by the road. I did not use any of the other facilities (was there anything other than a laundry? I don't know!) If you're just there to crash at night, it's decent, and I guess the prices reflect how conveniently they are located. Just don't expect much! read more

My family and I enjoyed this place! Everyone was friendly including the women on the phone when we had to call a few times. I mean, it's bare bones, but we're not looking for luxury when we look for an RV park. Gorgeous view of the Tetons! read more

Only plus side to this rv park is the location and the wonderful woman checking you in. Now the bad. I believe it was the owner of this "rv" park not sure if he was having a bad day or just always that miserable if so god bless you sir. We didn't even have a chance to put the truck into park before this grumpy old man rolled over in his side by side and not a "hello, how are you" or "welcome to the park" nope we got "get off my grass" and turned around and left on his miserable way. The park looks let go like it's just problem to keep it running but no problem taking peoples money. Best of luck read more

Our friends stayed here back in June and told us they didn't care for this place. We should have listened. We gave them a shot anyways. What a dump! Besides the poorly laid out campground and zero amenities the staff were so NOT helpful and incredibly rude-specifically the curly haired blonde. The sites are literally on top of each other! Don't waste your money staying here! Also we drove down the road to The Hatchett and so much nicer all the way around! Staff were smiling and friendly when we walked in. This place !! read more

Very disappointed about this park, is so expensive and they advertise services that they don't offer, worker are very rude and had a lot of actitud. With the parks in and around Jackson Hole, you pay for the location. We are glad we picked this park because it was very near the Moran side of the Grand Teton NP while also giving easy access to the south entrance of Yellowstone. The views of the Tetons from the park were fantastic. The sites and interior roads are gravel with a small grass area with picnic table at each site. The wifi at the park worked great. They have multiple locations with showers and bathrooms located around the park. The park is part of a restaurant, bar and convenience store. We highly recommend the wings and burgers at the restaurant as they were just what we needed after a long day of hiking in the Tetons. What a beautiful place to stay at! Because most of the campgrounds in Yellowstone National Park were first-come-first-served, we stayed here for our first night before entering the park. Very great first impression when we called the office about mailing in medication. They said yes and everything went smoothly. the campground was very on top of COVID procedures and kept everything clean. Really enjoyed the shower house and laundry room (don't forget to bring quarters). At night, they had a storyteller around the firepit with campers gathered around to listen to stories. Would come back again. The view was gorgeous. read more

We were very disappointed in this RV park. check in is not until 2:00 PM. I asked if we could check in at 1:00. the lady said for an extra 50.00 dollars. we reserved a pull through when we checked in we were told only back ins were available. I asked for help for my husband to back into the space. the two guys that were going to help watched has he backed into a wooden table that caused damage to the rv. The space was not that nice compared to some of the other spaces...... This was not right :(... The lady that checked us in was very rude and was trying to intimidate me by talking over me and talking very loud. not having this... how terrible. I must say everyone else in the store was very nice. the spaces were not groomed. and the water behind the RV. was more like a swamp. lots of bugs. There was a nice view from the park was a positive. Fireside buffalo valley RV Park 1 star Beautiful and majestic mountains, so so WiFi, and really close to Grand Teton National Park. STOP Has limited camp store with pool table and Bar. KEEP READING. DO NOT IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS. YOU WILL BE EATEN ALIVE BY MESQUITOES . NO shade anywhere which is a problem for small trailers(no awning) and tenters. Bathrooms are in desperate need of repair and need remodeling. Men's room urinal is missing in our section. The ladies bathroom doors are missing 2 of the 3 locking handles for privacy. The electric outlet is dead so can't blow dry hair. There is a pond creek by our site but water is stagnant thus resulting in lots of mesquites. BRING DEET and plenty of it !!! There is a netted enclosure in the center of the park covered in netting but the netting is covered in bird poop. Just power wash as it's disgusting!! Yes it's an RV Park with full hookups but considering we are paying $91.00 including taxes per night it's beyond disappointing. This park has so much potential if they would do the really necessary upgrades it desperately needs. The closest trash bin is next to the camp store which is a quarter mile away. Add cable TV option!! Overall impression is the park is run down and needs TLC. Wouldn't and won't stay here again. Our section has only 7 trailers, sad since this is prime season. Out of 179 sites more than half are VACANT! ITS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THEIR YELP SITE IS "UNCLAIMED" AND THEY HAVE NEVER RESPONDED TO ANY COMMENTS ABOUT THEIR PARK!! THERE IS ZERO PRIDE IN OWNERSHIP. read more

We were scared to stay here based on the reviews but glad we did. Staff was always friendly to us and our kids. It is true that WiFi is extremely spotty but it is in the country away from the big city. The main draw back we had was the mosquito's but that isn't the campgrounds fault. Use at least a 25% deet spray. The stream next to campground was stagnant due to a lack of rain to keep pushing the water. We learned not to plan always on the base a campground reviews. I guess some people are just going to be unhappy regardless. The views were stunning, clean bathhouse, kids enjoyed petting the horses next to campground and well maintained area. read more

This is a gorgeous park with gorgeous views! It is obvious they are slowly fixing it up. Sites on one side have recently been renovated and they are working on the other side. It is coming along. There is a great general store that is clean and well stocked. They have a bar that seems popular. They also have a gas station!! So convenient! The sites are long and wide. Big rig friendly. They are easy to enter and exit. They area is amazing. We could see the Tetons from our site and watched a herd? A pack? A bunch? of horses running just on the other side of the fence. Understand this is not a resort. Don't expect a pool or wifi. This park is a few miles up the road from the entrance of Grand Teton NP. It is a perfect to relax after a day of playing in the park. The staff is super helpful and friendly. This park deserves a much higher rating than it has. From the reviews I read, this is a much nicer park than it was a few years ago. We will definitely be back! read more

If you are looking for a rustic campground out of town, Fireside in Buffalo Valley is about a 30 min drive from Jackson. The views of the Tetons from here were gorgeous and it was nice to wander with our dogs around the campground. This place has a very low key / chill vibe. The folks that work here are very friendly gave us some good recommendations. We found a few places to eat that were open and in general really like the small town vibe in the area. We hung out at the bar one night which has a really good selection and friendly folks. I was also happy that ATT has service out there since I had to get some work done. read more

Ignore the bad reviews of this place if you're looking for somewhere to CAMP. The people who claimed this place was dirty/gross were apparently better suited for a hotel. This place is a perfect drive through the Tetons if you're looking to camp outside of the national parks. The bathrooms were in the exact condition you would expect for a CAMPGROUND, maybe even better. We were well taken care of by friendly staff. Very efficient. The cabin had a strong must, but once again, it's a cabin, not a pent house. We wanted to go up to the awesome little bar on the front of the grounds but it was closed at 8 p.m. Overall, a great place to stay and relax. Found some good reviews for a different RV resort thru Good Sam. Directions took us to Fireside Buffalo on a rainy, miserable evening in mid October. We were met by an extremely rude and inconsiderate younger female who was obviously in charge. She seemed disturbed that she had to wait on a customer. Although 90% of the park was empty....she gave us the worst spot in the entire facility. ....a spot so small that when we stepped out, we were in mud on the intersection of two roads. An extremely nice maintenance guy could not believe that this female had assigned us this terrible spot and told us to take one of the many empty sites next door. The rest rooms were fair at best with several stalls "out of order". The park is need of maintenance and someone at the desk who has a little customer service skill. There is good reason why the ratting is low over and over The young female working the bar is friendly and pleasant. read more

I am going to start with saying BECKY and BARBARA went so far above and beyond expectations I was in awe of their kindness. We had a situation with our dogs busting through our door while we were out. We carefully had everything planned with our fur babies being alone for a few hours... except for thunder!!! Becky called me on my cell phone to let me know she "found" our dogs roaming around the campground. She kept them, bathed the mud off of them and let them sleep quietly with her until we were able to return, which was a 2 hour drive away. In the meantime, while we were trying to get back as quick as we possibly could, the maintenance crew had cut a piece of wood that fit the hole left in our RV door !!! All acts of kindness. They were so thoughtful and accommodating for a situation we never planned on happening. Could not have had a better "staff experience" than this one. They were helping us before we even knew we needed help!!!! :-) The bathrooms and showers are spotless clean!! Laundry room is convenient and also super clean. This location is fabulous. We wanted to be a little off the beaten path of crowds and our view is amazing. We are a short drive to the parks and we appreciate the "lack of chaos" around us. Honestly, everything you need here.. including a full bar and a pool table. If you plan on a few days in the parks and have a vehicle to drive this is the place to stay :-) I will update with pictures as soon as I can. read more

The staff was nice and fixed the problem we had with our electrical hookup. Apparently many of the sites are listed as having amp hook ups that aren't available so they have adapters to loan. The view of the Tetons and location are the highlight for sure. read more

Love this wonderful campground, it's clean quiet and has nice views of the mountains. A nice little store, a gas station and a full bar with a pool table if you are so inclined. Also laundry and showers. Most of all the people who run the place go above and beyond. We were camping with friends whose dogs broke out of their 5th wheel and Barbara took the dogs in. Bathed them and let them sleep until we returned. Now that's service above and beyond. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Close to the entry of Grand Tetons and 30 miles from Yellowstone. Great location for seeing both parks without being so crowded like the RV parks in the parks. Come to Wyoming, you will love it here. read more

Horrible place to do business with. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Read cancellation policy really well.

I really tried to like this place, but every time I had to deal with the people here, they told me no. The park is pretty run down, with the only positive thing is the view of the Tetons, and you're near the national park. The mosquitos are terrible, maybe because there is a stagnate creek (pond) surrounding the park. The people here do not care one bit about the needs of the customers. They seem to be bothered by anyone who asks questions, or for assistance. If you have any other options, take it. Definitely will never stay here again. EVER. Move on.... read more
