Helped us pick out a fireplace that met our needs, they came and removed our old one. Told us it should be about a week to get the new one in. After two weeks without hearing anything I sent this email to them. "Just checking to see if there's an update on our fireplace. The last I heard you were hoping for an arrival last week and an install the beginning of this week. Thanks." I never received a response. After a few days I called and talked to Ron. He told me they were still waiting on a few parts. I said ok, I would just wait to hear from them. About 3-4 days later I receive a check in the mail from them refunding my deposit. When I call to figure out what is going on, they tell me that based on the email I sent I seemed upset and they feel that they can't satisfy us. I have no idea what type of business they are trying to run, I just know that I am left stuck with a hole in my den that I've had for the past few weeks already that I now have to start the process all over to find someone to install a fireplace. Crazy.

Naturally, I called and asked for someone to come out to look at my chimney flashing. The owner, Scott, came out to look. Needless to say, I will no longer be recommending this company. Scott was RUDE and argumentative today. I mentioned that the flashing didn't look right, when I meant the tar or rubberized coating, or whatever was originally used by the original installers. I used the wrong vernacular, and he sternly corrected me. I wasn't saying anything negative about him or his company, but actually paid him several compliments on his other employees. Scott came down from my roof and then asked me about a permit when it was installed. I informed him that as far as I know it was pulled, as Country Homes Power told me that they did. Scott then decided to lecture me on how I would know. (I found the permit and receipt of permit with my city). It was an authoritative tone. I've spent enough time in the military to understand when I'm being "dressed down." Then I asked Scott about the repair, and he said he'd get back to me but they were busy. So I clarified by asking him if he was busy the rest of the year, or just now. He then said that his company would not be able to do anything for me this year. He NEVER told me WHY my flashing needs to be replaced. His crew had inspected everything just a few months ago this summer and said everything was just fine. I called Mr. Chimney to get his name and was informed that he was the owner. The girl on the phone got defensive and said "I'M SORRY THAT YOU FEEL THAT WAY" in a snotty tone. I was calm and cool as a cucumber on the phone with her, as you get more bees with honey than you do with vinegar. But that was the end of that conversation. It's awful to say, as I really used to like this company, but I asked them to disregard and I won't ever be utilizing them again. And if the young office girl is reading this, try learning some customer service skills please. You NEVER tell a paying customer "I'm sorry you feel that way." I would have respected you more if you would have just said "Piss Off" and hung up. Customer service can and will make or break a company. Mr. Chimney clearly has some issues to sort out, as the owner doesn't know how to properly communicate with people. My advice to the owner, stay away from customers if you are going to behave in your current state, and let your employees deal with the company, as the ones who came out here before were very professional. Perhaps sir, you could take some cues from them...... *******ADDITIONAL NOTE******* CUSTOMER BEWARE: If you leave a negative review or call to complain, the owner Scott may threaten you with filing a false complaint regarding any animals that you may have. My dog is a Certified Service Animal with her own ID card that the TSA recognizes. She's actually a Disabled Veterans Service Dog and makes Lassie look more like Cujo, as she's the sweetest thing. I informed Scott (the owner of Mr. Chimney) that she was a Service Dog and that she was very friendly. She sniffed him with her tail wagging and like he was a long lost buddy. Hey, she's in her own home, not at work, right? I then I shoo'd her off so Scott and I could speak about my stove chimney. After I called the office to voice a complaint, I get this voice mail (see attached) that Scott is wanting to talk to me over the phone "man to man." Well, you can read it for yourself. This guy must have a couple screws loose upstairs, or perhaps he had a previous bad experience with animals? Scott made this personal by threatening to file a fictitious dangerous animal complaint against me. My dog never threatened him in any way. And this didn't come up until AFTER I called the office and stated that I'd be leaving a negative review. As Scott was leaving my Ring Camera shows me extending my hand, us shaking hands, and him leaving peacefully, and in one piece. This guy is unhinged, and he's supposed to be the owner????

Not only did they provide a competitive bid but they returned my phone calls, showed up on time, honored their estimate TO THE PENNY, and absolutely killed the craftsmanship. Our stone chimney was completed over a weekend, and easily exceeded our expectations. (and all of the walkers/joggers that stop to comment about it on a daily basis.) Roger showed up with his crew and set up camp on our property for the weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed their company and shared many laughs and stories around the campfire. When we had another masonry job recently, it was nice to have a "go to" team that we knew would be up to the task. Roger, Rafi and Jack showed up on time (again), delivered exceptional work (again), stayed with us (again) and honored their estimate to the penny (AGAIN!) A visible film coats every wall and lungs as well! Dr. Visits are reoccurring more often while living here. - Bottom floor apartments utilize drip buckets and touch up paint on the ceiling from reoccurring leaks from apartments above. Ceiling has been soft to the touch after flooding and maintenance has taken over 24 hrs to assist. - - maintenance is a joke- bottom dollar effort and it shows. - inspection of furniture supplied is quarterly as they try blame prior damages to areas and appliances and furniture on tenants. Diana, the manager can't be trusted. She lies to suffice but never follows through. - so much more... check your air vent
