My experience dealing with Peck Plumbing and Jenna was a complete waste of time. We scheduled and had a confirmed appointment with Peck Plumbing to repair our shower. On the day and time of the scheduled repair, no one showed up. I waited a half hour, called, and was told she (Jenna) had forgotten to put us on the schedule and offered to re-schedule us next week. I informed her how my wife and I made arrangements and prepared for this repair job (such as boarding our dog, childcare plans, adjusting work meetings, removing doors and items from the bathroom). When I requested an appointment later the same day, Jenna then transitioned to the weather and road conditions. She made it clear that they had no interest in honoring our appointment. I do not feel the weather was an impediment to this repair job. Regardless, she did not offer to rectify her mistake in a manner that was appropriate to us, the customer. I expressed my frustration with her lack of understanding the inconvenience that Peck Plumbing caused us. Jenna responded in a bizarre, argumentative manner and asked if we made childcare plans for the other plumbers we scheduled estimates with - as if a 10-minute estimate is comparable to a confirmed repair job. It was clearly an attempt to distract from her failure. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH PECK PLUMBING! I recommend looking elsewhere for a dependable, professional company. read more

We asked Jerome to install a wash sink that we had purchased, in our basement. He was here within a few days and did a nice, clean job at a fair price. Jerome and his team recently replaced all of the 1930s galvanized plumbing in my South Hill home, as well as installing a water softener and whole house filter, and putting in an extra hose hookup outside, and did an absolutely incredible job. I had multiple companies out to make bids on the project, and not only was he the most knowledgeable and professional (he noticed things no one else noticed and came up with great work arounds!), he was also the most reasonably priced. Communication was excellent, he was willing to listen to exactly what I wanted, even when it was more difficult/labor intensive for him and his team, and the job was done really well. I even got some tips about possibilities for ceiling finishing in the basement, and ideas about HVAC possibilities for the future. Overall, I can't recommend this company enough, and I am so grateful I searched the r/Spokane subreddit for other options before going with one of the other local plumbing companies. They are the true "one call, that's all" plumbing company in our area. We had some projects that we have simply been putting off for years, and finally looked at each other and said let's call Peck's. Jerome was right on time with his crew, and went straight to it. We now have a brand new, frost free water spigot on our deck where one did not exist, replaced the original spigot in the front with another frost free, and a new garbage disposal unit that is such an upgrade from our last one. That spigot on the deck is such a joy to have now. They are very fair and affordable! We are set for plumbing for the future, but know if any unforeseen things crop up, Peck is on speed dial. Called Peck after reading some of the reviews here on Yelp. The plumber came out and took care of a number of minor issues that we had been putting off. Replaced a leaky spigot, repaired bathroom and kitchen sinks and looked at a heating issue, recommending a company for repair. The work was completed in a timely fashion for a fair price. I needed two water lines replaced under my kitchen sink. The quality of the work was outstanding. Originally I had expected that I would need to replace my kitchen faucet but the plumber was able to fix my problem so I was able to RETURN the faucet to Home Depot for a full refund. I wouldn't trust my plumbing needs with anyone else! I manage a 35 unit, family-owned apartment complex in Cheney, let's just say plumbing issues are not the least of my concerns. Peck Plumbing was the first company I called because of their trusted reputation and family-owned orientation. Their technician was very knowledgeable about my issue and explained my options in detail before proceeding with the work. The price and the materials that would be used for the job were both discussed before the work started. He was very efficient and willing to explain what he was doing while he was doing it. The project went smoothly, the attention to detail was top notch, and I paid exactly what I was expecting to pay when all the work was finished. 12/10!!! Because I manage so many units and have a fair amount of issues, I am not always able to get my project done with Peck Plumbing. I have tried every other major plumbing outfit in the Inland Northwest and I always leave the transaction feeling slighted and unhappy. Not to say that the work wasn't done but I didn't get that friendly vibe like I do from Peck Plumbing. Sure you can get the work done elsewhere but wouldn't rather know that your issue is going to be cared for by professionals that care? read more

Water heater literally dumped all the warer out of it late Saturday night, making the basement a swimming pool. Turned the water off, mopped, set fans going, tried to get some sleep . . . and after church Sunday morning, went to a big box store to get a seemingly, highly rated gas water heater installed as quickly as possible, using one of the store's contractors. I was told that I would be contacted soon. I didn't buy the tank then. I figured that I would talk to the contractor as to the procedure for purchase and installation. Monday morning came with no word. I called the store and asked for the contractor's number just in case the store hadn't called. Called, left a message and two hours later, still no word. As I was waiting with pots and tea kettles heating on the stove, I checked Yelp and found Peck Plumbing. Gave them a call and was told that they could be out with a new, better recommended water heater by 10AM the next day. They showed up on time, was done within two hours, and at a cost (I was later told by a knowledgeable friend) lower than what other businesses would charge. My 98 year old mother still lives in the house my dad built in 1953. Recently her bathtub faucet began to continuously drip. Another plumber in town told her the whole wall needed to be torn out in order to fix it. She asked me to find a new plumber for a second opinion and hopefully an easier fix. I looked on Yelp and found Peck Plumbing for her. She got an appointment in less than a week. The repairman was not only on time, but called to say he could arrive earlier. He was respectful, knowledgeable, and, best of all, fixed the problem quickly! No need to rip out a wall! My mother was thrilled. I just had Jerry of Peck plumbing and heating take care of a water heater problem that I had. I scheduled the time of 2:30 in the afternoon and he showed up at 1:50 ready to go. He was excellent! These guys are the best! They pointed out to me that I still had a couple of months left on my warantee for my water heater which enabled me to order a replacement part at n/c. They installed it the day I received it and charged me about $1,500 less than the first quote I received from Mainstream Electric. They were very knowledgeable and professional. ADDED $160 to my quote for no reason. I gave Peck Plumbing & Heating a call because I wanted to support a local, father & son business. Mr. Peck (father) was nice enough to come over and provide a quote for some work I needed done but had to repeatedly excuse himself to take a cell phone call from Lil' Pecker (son) who apparently was buying a new boat and needed to bother his father at work. After apologizing for his son's annoying calls and texts, we got back on track and agreed on a price of $300 for the job. We shook hands and Mr. Peck informed me that his son, Lil' Pecker would be emailing me a bid the following week. The next week, I received my quote from Lil' Pecker stating the job would now cost $460 rather than the $300 that his father and I agreed upon. (Guess it cost me an extra $160 for Lil' Pecker to compose an email?) I replied to the email stating this bid was way more expensive than his father's quote and I wasn't sure what could have changed over the weekend to make the price go up so much. Lil' Pecker's reply was that I should get several quotes from his father's competitors if I did not like it and even offered to provide me a list of his father's competitors to choose from. It goes without saying that I will not do any business with Peck Plumbing & Heating and I will tell everyone I talk to about Lil Pecker's antics. I find it tragically sad that Old Man Peck has his good name on the business and side of the van and Lil' Pecker is doing everything in his power to drive his father's customers to the competition. No problem... I actually got one of Peck's competitors to honor the price his own son wouldn't honor. read more

After trying to fix the toilet it was determined we needed a new toilet. He showed up early the next morning and had the toilet installed in less than an hour.
