    Ramen

May be 3.5 stars restaurant. It is just a bit below 4 stars. For the Chinese food or fusion Chinese cuisine, they may be good enough or the local Florentine. We started with Japanese Ramen. It come with charshu pork, egg, seaweed, veggies and noodle. The egg is not a porch egg. I wouldn't said this is traditional ramen. Light broth. There is room improve this dish. For the broth, egg and pork. The second dish is better. Braise beef soup. This dish has good beef. Their specialty may be is at Taiwanese side. The last dish is the shrimp steam dumplings. Each piece is about a Euro. Average pricing. The dumplings is good. The service is good and attentive. The food also came out quick.

The pad Thai was flavorless. I asked for chicken and for it to be extra spicy there was not one chili in there. I ordered the kung pow chicken for my wife and it came with fish somehow? She could've had a major allergic reaction if she was allergic to it. Do not eat here. The one star is because the food was presented decently. Plenty of other authentic Chinese restaurants to spend your money at.

Matcha milk tea with tapioca pearls

I stumbled upon this place while walking to dinner. ATMOSPHERE: This is a great dining area if you're looking for indoor seating to meet up friends or have a family dinner. Plenty of tables were available and the lady at the cash register taking my order was super approachable and friendly. :) DRINKS: I ordered the matcha milk tea with tapioca pearls and I was pretty impressed with the milk tea. I could taste the matcha and it wasn't just powdered artificial flavoring. Coming from California (OC/SF), this days a lot!!! The tapioca pearls were a bit tough, but there was a hint of honey on them which made the drink enjoyable. I wish there was more tapioca with the drink. DESSERT: I also got the matcha tiramisu to-go. This was very delicious with a great taste of matcha. The tiramisu wasn't too sweet. The mascarpone was a nice, creamy texture. OVERALL: I told the lady I would definitely be back to try out the food from this restaurant. She mentioned that the dumplings are handmade. Stay tuned! Updated on 05/22/18: I tried the shrimp dumplings and the spicy beef noodle soup. The shrimp dumplings were hands down delicious! Authentic with lots of shrimp and the texture of the dumpling skin was perfect. :D Impressive!!! The spicy beef noodle soup was good. The soup was flavorful. The beef was very tender, but a bit bland. The noodles were similar to homemade spaghetti which adds the Italian flare. There were carrots which I've never had in my beef noodle soup before. Food was great!

If you want an easy and quick ramen, fried rice, or noodle meal this place is pretty good. They have pretty good dumplings, not the best I have ever had but I would get them again. It's well priced for asian food in Italy as well. The best part about this restaurant is that they give you free edamame and shrimp crackers!!! Love this part so much. I got the spicy shrimp pad thai and it did not really taste like pad thai I am used to but the noodles were well cooked and it had nice small veggies and bean sprouts. It wasn't very spicy. My friends got ramen that looked good. The noodles were thick. Service is very good and restaurant is very clean and well kept and organized.

Leave it to my mom to find an Asian fusion restaurant owned by another Shanghainese woman. We stumbled in after a visit to the Accademia and was warmly welcomed by the owner. Their menu has a variety of popular foods ranging multiple countries. We ordered the Shanghai eggrolls both with & without meat, bi bim bap, cold vermicelli noodle, and stir-fried veggies of the day which happened to be cong cai (water spinach). Everything was super fresh and delicious. Since I was sick, the matcha tea was perfect. Mom said that the egg rolls were better than ones in the US - big words.

Read through many reviews for different ramen spots in Florence and decided on Firenzen. It was a great location, outside/inside seating and delicious food. We had complimentary rice chips, spicy beef ramen, chicken fried rice, bottle of white wine and ended with complimentary fortune cookies. Perfect break from Italian food during our trip. Would recommend!

This is one of the best Thai food we have ever had while traveling! We ordered veggie Thai spring rolls, spicy veggie fried rice & spicy veggie Thai curry.. my hubby had tough time deciding what to eat last! Every dish was extraordinary! Most likely our day 2 dinner in Florence will be here again :)

We didn't eat any food here but stopped by to get some bubble tea! It was around 4pm so there was no one else in the restaurant but the woman behind the counter was very helpful! I can't remember what teas we ordered, but they weren't very sweet. However, the tapioca pearls were made perfectly, which is hard to do! I would definitely come back to try the food here

This is not a restaurant. Was informed they only do catering. Nice people. Yelp needs to fix this.

It was a great respite from the continuous (albeit delicious) Italian food we had been having for the past few weeks in Italy. Thoroughly satisfying. We ordered: * Steamed Fish - Branzino Al Vapore * Chili and Sour China Cabbage - Cavolo Cinese Agro-Piccante * Pork Rib Bone Noodle Soup * For Dessert: Yam Roll - Involtini di primavera dolci Highly recommend this place for a quality, inexpensive Chinese meal on the particularly cold days we've been experiencing in Florence. It's right across from another Chinese restaurant (Impressione) that had a line going out the door - 10-deep. Rather than wait around for a disgruntled lady to add us to the waitlist, we just went across the street. The food came out within 15 minutes and everything looked and tasted fresh. It was almost too fast for me to only get a photo of the chicken (cold dish). We also had the beef noodle soup, vegetable noodle soup, garlic steamed bok choy, and sour wonton soup. I would highly recommend this place for authentic food, but it's not fancy and the atmosphere is anything but cozy.

The dishes we ordered had well-Balanced sauces. We had a dish with braised quail eggs and pork belly ("Quail eggs and Bacon") which was very good. We had a greens sautéed with garlic. Very good (it's the type of dish that's SUPPOSED to taste the same at ANY restaurant and L'Angolo did not surprise us. That's a good thing). We had sweet and sour shrimp. The sauce contained fresh pineapple and fresh tomatoes and head-on, shell-on shrimp. The sauce was very good and not cloyingly sweet nor gelatinous. The only caution I would give is that if you're looking for American -style General Tso 's chicken or chop-suey, I don't think it's on the menu. This is more akin to a mid-tier American Chinese restaurant -- not a take-out joint.
