Amazing! I can't get over how delicious these subs are. They take long to come to your table or even take out but so dang worth it pricy but delicious read more

I'm always down for a good sub and this place did NOT disappoint. The firehouse meatball was really really amazing. Definitely recommend the sweet and spicy version of it. Their service was amazing! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it for our first time. The cashier even came by to ask if everything was okay, as well as picking up our empty trays. 2 big thumbs up. read more

This will definitely be my new sub spot! read more

Love the menu. So delicious!! The hot sauce are awesome. Puts other sub places to shame

First time customer and had a great experience! Greeted by Richard who was very welcoming. Overall pleasant, welcoming and friendly staff, and clean interior too. Ordered the firehouse meatball and Italian subs and they were both delicious! Definitely better than other sub chains I've tried. Would definitely recommend and return to try other subs! read more

Can never go back to Subway again! The quality of these subs are great, and they are loaded for fresh items. I had the turkey ranch sub and the clubhouse sub, LOVED THE clubhouse one. Staff are pretty friendly too. read more

Great food great service loved the welcome to firehouse subs when u walk in,very recommend it if ur in the neighborhood or done shopping at the mall read more

Wow! I am so glad we tried this. I was expecting another bland, pasty, sub shop. I had seen some people talking about how good they were on facebook recently and when we spotted this one we decided to give it a go. Absolutely not bland or pasty. The is not your ordinary sub shop. The place is big, bright, clean and friendly. The staff were patient with us as we took awhile to decide. Our food was brought out to us very quickly and it was beyond delicious. The flavours were to die for and the subs are thick and packed with ingredients, not just a thin layer on a lot of bread. We will be back to try more of the menu. read more

These subs are incredible. They make their cold cuts fresh everyday and the bread is delicious. I will be back to try more.

The Firehouse Smoke and Cheddar Beef Brisket (#10) is pretty awesome. The sub is smothered in delicious barbecue sauce (the way I like it) but the meat is more on the deli style, not the thick cut smoked meat you get at the smoked meat place in Vaughan. But for what it is, it's pretty good. Topping are extra but you definitely don't need them. read more

Incredible! Absolutely stunning! The sandwiches here are out of this world! Every Sub they make is absolutely PACKED with toppings, with a big ol' bun to hold it all, and guess what? IT'S AMAZING! I'd eat here for the rest of my life if I could, I haven't been let down a single time since I started eating here. The people at FireHouse, you oughta' be proud you work at a place like this. The sandwiches are endlessly delicious, I can't think of any other place to compare it to. Keep it up FireHouse ;D read more

Tastes good. The bread is fantastic. But the toppings are horrible. They barely put any toppings, you're basically getting meat and bread. It would be way better if they actually put toppings instead of putting a few little pieces here and there. Also, the price is way too high. The meatballs are good, but very similar to meatballs at subway. Not worth the price, but tastes good overall. read more

I don't understand why my husband loves this place so much. We just paid $47 for a doordash order and the restaurant followed zero instructions. $14 for a salad and the first bite was chicken grizzle (picked it all off for the dog), didn't hold the tomatoes, and had sliced deli provalone cheese on top when requested cheddar. My husband's sandwich was on dark bread (whole wheat or rye) when he chose white. Double checked that we ordered correctly and it isn't the door dash delivery person's fault but overall, we are very disappointed and I've refused to partake in ordering from here when we're eating together. It can be his solo thing. read more

Wow!! This place just opened and omg I think I've found my favourite sandwich shop.... sorry subway. Everything was made fresh to order and soooo warm and toasty. Service was amazing and everyone was really friendly and patient with our indecisive order haha. I'll be back!! read more

Popped in today for lunch. When you walk in you're greeted with "Welcome to Firehouse Subs". Puts me in mind of Chipotles, where they do the same thing. Atmosphere is warm and there are enough table and chairs to hold a fair amount of people. We made our way to the cashier and placed our order. I got #10 - Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket combo, on whole wheat, and the person I was with ordered a #7 - a Firehouse Steak and Cheese. Each combo included a bag of chips (or Doritos) and a medium pop. We both ordered a medium sized sub. My #10 was fantastic. The bun was ultra fresh and warm. The Firehouse BBQ sauce was more on the sweeter side, but had a nice smokiness to it. I added one of the litany of side sauces they have available (rated on a heat factor scale of 1 to 10...I added a 6) to take the heat factor up a notch. Next time I'll go up to an 8, as 6 was still too mild. There was plenty of beef and it was very saucy (it reminded me of eating a California sandwich) and your hands will get covered in BBQ sauce. It was perhaps one of the best subs I've ever had. Holy hell it was good. My friend loved his as well. He didn't add any heat to his but he raved about it. Staff member came by to see if we were enjoying our meal...very friendly. A great experience all around. 2 medium sized sub combos came to just over $28.....a bit steeper than other sub places, but it was worth every penny. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Very casual and chill place to go to when you are craving for some yummy subs. I tried two of the subs which were the beef brisket and cheddar sub and New York steamer. I wanted to try the beef brisket because its cooked for 16+ hours and was topped with barbecue sauce and cheddar cheese. I'm not really into barbecue but it was a good combination. However, I must say that I prefer the New York steamer better with its beef pastrami and the sauce that stuck out was the deli mustard with the provolone cheese. It was tangy combined with the flavourful beef pastrami. Must try. Plus++++++ one thing I really love this place is that it serves a purpose! It gives a generous amount of its funds to the community. Why would you not support this place? :) read more

Went into this place for The first time last week with the thought it would be just another sub place. Have had my share of subs from the big 3 sub places, but the name itself had me enticed to check it out. Good atmosphere when you walk in. Had the Prime Rib as this is not something offered from the others sub place and they smoke the meat. They had a decent amount of meat in the sub. I added grilled onions and grilled green peppers; however didn't see this on the menu and would have missed it if they didn't mention this. Skipped the mayo and kept the other sauce offered (forgot what they called it, but basically tasted like smoked BBQ sauce). Only offer white or whole wheat bread. Had the WW and it was toasted. The sub was $8.99 for a standard size, which was around "6 or 7" long. For an additional $3 had the combo which is the standard chips (or cookie) and fountain drink. The fountain drink machine had a number of options, so was fun to use, just took a long time to go through all the options. Ended up making the suggested drink (cherry with lime) - they had fresh cut limes too. Waited at the table for the sub which was delivered to the table, but took longer than expected and not sure why. The sub was good, no doubt. Not sure it was worth the premium price. They also ask all customers if they want to round up the cost of the meal to the next dollar (45 cent) to donate emergency equipment (defibrillator), so the cost of the meal came out to $14. Would probably go back to try another sub (one of their signature subs) but doubt will be visiting the Firehouse more often over the other sub places. read more

Best sub ever. I recently went to Firehouse Subs and ordered the Italian sub. It was soooo delicious. They are so filling too. Great customer service. Owner is so friendly and pleasant to talk to as well. My new sub place. read more

The employees are horrible. They're rude, and unmotivated, and are the SLOWEST workers I have ever had the displeasure of witnessing. It should not take 15+ minutes to make a sandwich. Even if I am the only customer in the place, it will take that long to get my food. The quality of the food is always really inconsistent, and I order the same thing every time. Sometimes it's good, other times it tastes bad, and sometimes it's soaking wet. They make a lot of mistakes too. If it's not on my food, I hear other people in the restaurant complaining about mistakes. It's a shame because I can see that the manager cares, but the rest of the employees look like they're there against their will. read more

My wife & I have been fans of the Firehouse Subs chain for years, since we first discovered them in Florida (we do a "snowbird" thing every year). One of the top highlights each trip was to hit a shop - there are 4 near where we usually stay. We were thrilled when we heard they were opening in Canada, and hoped they would uphold the very high standards. And they have! These subs are amazing - not made with cold meat then nuked or press-grilled, but heaped with fresh hot meat off the steam table, and great sauce on a toasted bun (Suggestion - order yours "fully-involved"). We've tried them all over the years in Florida, and most here at the new Vaughan location. They are all simply outstanding! OK, it's true the prices are just a bit higher than the mundane Subway, Mr. Sub & Quiznos, and it will take just a bit longer because the subs are far superior to the other chains and take a bit longer to prepare. They aim at 6-7 minutes, and you'll spend much of that at the amazing drink machine (seen them in Florida at Firehouse and other places but never before in Canada) choosing from over 200 soft drinks, and then browsing the wide selection of mild, hot and BBQ sauces. These subs are so far ahead of all the others, it's not even close. You'll really love the solid hot steamed MEAT taste. Only quibble - they don't have cold subs - in the States they have Tuna salad, which is great and chicken salad which I'm not a fan of. Really nice friendly staff, nice atmosphere and they donate a LOT to first-responders. (The chain was founded by 2 brothers who were firefighters in Jacksonville, FL). The Vaughan store directs it's funds to York Region first responders. If you drop by, say "hi" to Richard the owner - great guy! Fantastic subs!! - Brian & Pat Dawson read more
