Absolutely delicious! I hadn't been to Firehouse Subs in quite some time. I downloaded the mobile app and ordered it using the app. Super easy super fast. Make sure to give them some time. Don't order it while parked in the front and just expect it to be ready. What I ordered was delicious!!!!!! It was such good goodness in my mouth!!! I got the club On a sub and it was out of this world. I didn't make any special requests. Had them make it how they normally would and it was crazy delicious. I will definitely be going back. The Stuart store is in new hands since my last visit and it's for the better. I didn't realize this location was still open. Placed my order on the website and stopped by to pick it up. I'm in a wheelchair, so doing all this is extremely difficult, but the very polite owner was there and held the door for me. Got home and my New York Steamer was DELICIOUS!!! The sub was so good it just fell apart, toppings going everywhere. I didn't care, because I was in heaven!! Gonna try their delivery option next time though. So happy I came here!! The torta girl and the discount Fabio guy fucked up my sub while I was standing there in front of me and then laughed when I said something about it. I had asked the discount Fabio if I can have a little extra salt and pepper on my sub and when the torta girl was putting salt on she asked discount fabio if that was enough salt and he proceeded to keep smacking the salt shaker dumping a lot on and the torta girl said omg that's a lot of salt and discount Fabio said well her asked for extra and they both were laughing then I made a comment saying I said a little extra not make it inedible and they kept laughing until he gave me the sandwich. read more

I walked in and placed an order for a Roast Beef sub with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, salt and pepper. What I received was a Philly Cheese Steak. I can't comment on the quality of the food but I see why it only has two stars. I stood there for 10 minutes and wasn't even looked at once. There was no one in line, they were just busy with online/door dash or whatever. This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had at a fast food place. I am giving them zero stars for their service, plus zero stars for they soggy disgusting Italian sub. So I ordered an Italian Sub using the yelp/Grub Hub app cause it was convenient and the Firehouse Subs app was not working for me. Once I completed and paid for the online pickup order, the ordering site it would take 20-40 minutes to complete the order. I thought that was a long time to wait when I put the order in at 11:15 AM. So when I get there at 12:05 PM, I go to the pickup delivery order spot expecting my hero to be ready for pickup. I literally stand and wait there for 10 minutes till an employee finally addresses me and screams you have to let me know you are standing there for a pickup order. Then they finally proceed to make my order (what was the point of paying and ordering on line when they don't make the hero till I walked in 45 minutes later)? So they cut and toast the bread (that's a process in itself), and they take my Italian cold cuts with provolone cheese and put that in a steamer to heat and melt the cheese. Once steamed and melted they then take that out and drain literally a cup of water from the cold cuts and melted cheese, a disgusting site to be seen. They finally assemble my sub and present it to me. I say, why did I have to wait for an online preorder. The Manager immediately gets in my face and says grub hub orders are not prepared till the grub hub driver walks in. I said I am a customer and a veteran, not a grub hub driver. She then walked away, no apology for the service and their policy on how they treat people who order through the Yelp/Grub Hub app. I said to her and her staff that I will never ever go to a Firehouse Sub ever again, and I will go back to my favorite Jersey Mike's sub who knows how to treat people and knows how to make a superior sub. My Firehouse sub was gross, all that water made the toasted hero roll soggy, ruined the taste of the cold cuts that were wet and warm, it was just horrible. 12:10 pm. The food was good, I had a meatball Sub. Finding a clean table? Front area near the entrance has 8 tables, two were occupied the rest were not clean. I wiped off one and sat to wait on my food. 3 front of the house employee's only two orders including mine while I was there and no one looked up from their phone long enough to notice the condition of the dining area. My family and I have have been going to Firehouse Subs for many years. This location has had its issues in the past but we love the subs so we kept going back. Recently new owners took over, was excited. But nothings changed. The workers are and always have been friendly. These new owners are lacking customer service skills and trying to retain customers. On 1/19/25 I placed an order online in the app. I received my order completely wrong. When I called the Location and spoke to the manager regarding the mistakes and missing items, he actually tried to tell me they always get their orders right! And then Proceeded to tell me I had a big order with too many customizations and they got busy. I ordered 3 subs, 2 sodas, and chips. Either way customizations or not I was also missing half the order, if they can't handle customizing a sandwich maybe they shouldn't be in sandwich business. Instead of him apologizing, he tried deflecting, blaming me, the customer. He did offer me a store credit, no refund. I ended up choosing to contact Customer Service Corporate and received my refund. Unbelievably bad experience. We all understand whatever staffing shortages that are occurring in this industry, but what is going on at this location is beyond that. Sunday hours are 10:30-2:00. Order online for 11:20 pickup. Show up at 11:20, doors are locked but lights are on with one employee behind the counter and one on a stepladder loading ice into the drink machine. Tug on the door, knock, no response from either employee. I've worked in fast food and fast casual dining as an hourly and a manager. I give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they're struggling to get the store open. Wait 10 minutes. Call the store. After 2 dozen rings a woman picks up and rattles off the greeting with a normal cadence like everything is normal. I tell her I have an online order that was to be picked up at 11:20 and the doors are still locked. She says "oh we're having some, um, electrical problems, we should put a sign on the door." I said what about my order, she asks for the name on the order, I tell her and she says "oh we'll have that in 20 minutes." Great. Wait 20 minutes, don't see it on the takeout rack, no one has opened the doors. Call again, rings infinitely. It's one thing to be short staffed, it's another to disregard all communication and responsibility. I understand that all of these stores are franchises. Does the owner not understand that this ship is sinking, not because of a lack of manpower, but a lack of respect? read more

The Stuart location has been plagued with mismanagement for over a year. They don't honor the hours posted on their door and state the door is wrong. They are frequently closed during the hours on the door and the web. They don't seem to be able to hire or retain staff. I'm surprised they haven't permanently closed. read more

I used to love this place when I lived in another state. completely different experience here in Stuart, FL! Horrible customer service. Lady taking the order acted like she didn't want to be there. There were three customers dining in when I placed my order. All got their sandwiches and finished and left before I got my small sub Sandwich. it took over 30 minutes to get my one sub at 2:00 in the afternoon. I will never step foot in this place again. Im used to JJ subs, quick, clean and excellent customer service. JJ subs has your order ready in about 1 minute so waiting 30 minutes for a tiny sub is absolutely insane. Never again! read more

Down here to visit friends for Spring Break. I like that Firehouse Subs "takes it up a notch" and not the same boring sub you get at that "other chain". They make it exactly to order and you can then customize it even further with the biggest array of Hot Sauces I've ever seen. Reminds me of some of my favorite NY Deli Sandwich's. There's a donation box for change like most places that I am always skeptical of but I actually watched a news story back home where Firehouse Subs bought a Remote Bomb Squad Robot for the Louisville Police Department! Good to know they do what they promise they do. My only complaint is there is no way to "keep" my hot sub to enjoy later. It's just not the same as when you get it handed to you fresh! read more

It's extremely unfortunate that I have to give it one star. I placed AND PAID FOR an online order and when I went to the location to pick up the order the doors were locked and there was a sign on the door stating that they were closed due to shortness of staff. I could see employees in the store so I knocked on the door to get one of them to come to the door so I could at least ask for my money back. Instead of coming to the door to help me they pointed to the sign on the door and then proceeded to ignore me for about 2 or 3 minutes finally a female manager by the name of Melody came to the door and was extremely rude and unpleasant. She stated that their web orders were still on and accepting orders (and payment for orders) even though their store was closed. I stated that it was ridiculous that the two employees acknowledged that I was outside but refused to come to the door to see what I needed. She then told me that she told the employees not to open the door for anyone. Why would you advise your employees to ignore any and all customers when you KNOW that your web orders are still on... taking orders and charging people money for orders that you're not capable of providing?!?! That sounds like a scam to me. This situation was a problem created by poor management and then followed up by an extremely ignorant and rude attitude from management, which involved cursing, pounding on the computer and at one point telling me she wasn't going to give me a refund and told me to leave and to call corporate for a refund. I love Firehouse subs but this manager needs to be retrained or replaced because she's clearly in the wrong profession...customer service is DEFINITELY not her forte!!! Based on other complaints here about a female manager at this location it sounds like she is often unpleasant and bad for business. I am seriously in disbelief after just leaving this location. Ordered a sub over the app and it was made wrong when I got there. Asked the guy at the front and he got his manager from the back. (Honestly wish she wasn't there, he was the shift lead and would have done a much better job handling it) she comes out of the back and once explaining what was ordered and on ticket she starts saying she's not remaking the sub!! so naturally we ask for a refund so we can go to the other location 15 min away. She says they are corporate so I'll have to call corporate to get a refund!!! Then walks back to the back and refuses to come back or give her name!! I was standing there in shock and did not know what to do. I call the Jensen beach location and they apologize and can't believe what happened. They ask exactly what the sub is and say it will be ready in 10 min at no charge. So now I have to drive 15 min much further from my house to have the same company remake the sub... You know it's bad when even the other workers at the Stuart location looked ashamed of how the manager was acting. I called corporate to report her and they said that location is not corporate it's privately owned so they easily should have handled everything in house. They reported her to the owner and gave me a refund. Please please please save yourself and go to a different location. But then again I'm sure that manager won't be there much longer... read more

Had a coupon buy one get one free. . .from a coupon book I PURCHASED The subs were supposed to be Medium.. Rather on the small side though. Didn't carry Philly Cheese but close the man said. . .also one other sort of briscuit of beef. . Didn't matter they were both tasting so strongly of LIQUID SMOKE that they were awful. No one would eat them. The bill came to $9.00 even. When paying I was told most people donate and round out their change to the local Fire Department. I know Firemen..they get paid well with insurance and pensions, etc. They are to be honored for the dangerous work they do and risk their own lives to save a life. . .but the change goes to them ?
