Is this place ever reopening??!

Probably not since there has been a For Lease sign on the front window the past month and a half. Shame really because I really wanted this place to take off

Glad we gave it a second chance now I know why people rave about it! Food was excellent best eggplant rollantini I've ever had tasty perfect spicy sauce. I had pasta with olive oil and garlic was cooked perfectly. Hubby had a chicken dish special first time he's eaten it all not taking any home! Mine was plenty to take home and savor! Good tools as well. It's not a very quiet place but that's due to being packed but not uncomfortable! There was a line out the door when we were leaving . Service was excellent as well. Yes I'd go there again!

They state that for the past 16 years they have used fresh ingredients in all their dishes and you'll notice that fact in every dish. The Ambiance: This lovely little restaurant reminds me of the bistro's I enjoyed in Venice. Get there early as it's always packed and there's not that many tables. They also offer several tables for outside dining. The Service: La Forchetta lost a star here as the service was slow and perfunctory at best. Our server couldn't seem to get her act together and seemed to be flustered by anything out of the norm. If I was to guess, having owned a few restaurants myself, I'd guess she was new and overworked having more tables than she could handle. The Food: A good sign of the quality of your meal is the quality of the salad and bread. Although this time we skipped the salad, the bread, or more precisely the garlic rolls featured the perfect balance of garlic butter and were good enough to be a meal unto themselves. After gorging on the rolls, we decided to share the calamari which turned out to be oh so crispy, and unlike so many other overly chewy offerings, was mouth watering tender. For our entrees, we chose the Penne pasta which was made al dente and featured a wonderfully robust bolognese sauce. Our second entree was the lobster filled raviolis which featured an amply filled fresh lobster covered in a creamy pink sauce. For desert we shared the house specialty tiramisu which was good but not necessarily memorable. The Bottom Line: As with all my reviews my "customer so what" would I come back... the answer is yes, because the food was so good, we'd try it again and hopefully the service would be up to the food.

The last four or five 'highly recommended" Italian restaurants in the Jensen Beach/Stuart area we tried were OK to even pretty good but not at all memorable or begging another visit so we always went back to our favorite. Felt a little guilty coming here but WOW-we were blown away. We ate here twice before writing this review because I wanted to make sure our first visit wasn't a fluke. On the first visit my wife ordered Shrimp Linguine Fradiavolo which was a generous portion of shrimp over linguine with a wonderfully spicy marinara sauce. (She let me try it). I ordered Gnocchi Sorrentina which I customized to my preferences. Substituted marinara for meat sauce and added some charred Italian sausage. Probably the best gnocchi I've ever had. Portions of both dishes were large enough to take back to enjoy for lunch the next day. On our second visit, my wife had Spaghetti Al Pomodoro and I tried Veal Marsala. Both were north of wonderful! During both visits we also enjoyed fresh garlic bread. Uncle Guiseppe's is busy and noisy. Service is so good you don't notice the "busy" once you're seated. This was our best restaurant find this trip.

This free-standing establishment has an elegant feel without the pretentiousness. With black and white modern decor and attentive staff, Pastaio's gave us a 5-star experience all around. Our server, Axel, was amazing - great suggestions, anticipated our needs but didn't hover. Our meal began with complimentary garlic bread that was warm, tasty and just plain good. My husband and I also ordered a salad - the burrata caprese - to split before our entrees came out. We gobbled up the dish quickly - it was fresh, colorful and light. For my entree, I ordered the spaghetti with marinara and my husband ordered the lasagna. We both truly loved our dishes - to the point that I joked that we would have to spend hundreds of dollars on Uber Eats to get this food to our house (3 hours away) whenever we craved Italian! It was that good and now I really want their spaghetti....(leaves to access Uber Eats)

The Shrimp Scampi came out first, so we encouraged our friend to eat. About 10 minutes later, two pies came out and we were waiting on the third, which never arrived.
