First and last time I'm ordering here.....the bread was soggy and subs lacked flavor. I'd heard so much good I guess I expected better. Spicy meatball was NOT spicy and I'd asked for no bread but it came on the bread. Cajun chicken sorry to say was flavorless to say the least. Firehouse Hero was so soggy we couldn't eat the bread. Came here twice & both times we placed an online order. Food is good but it's never ready when we get there. We've been getting there about 30 mins after placing the online order & both times the guy was just mopping & our order hasn't even been started. What's the point of placing the order ahead of time when they're just gonna get it ready when we get there? When we walk in, no one greets us or helps us right away. We always have to wait a few mins until someone actually says a word. Customer service is horrible. Need to hire a new staff of train your staff about customer service. read more

First time here and was so excited to try! Decided on the Turkey bacon ranch on white, delicious!!! Perfectly toasted and cheese melted just right, bread was soft with a little crunch from the roasting! Will definitely be back to try others on the menu! Easily my favorite sub place in riverside. My only mistake was ordering the turkey bacon ranch my 1st time there. It was so good, I keep ordering it! I have yet to try anything else because of this but if the others are anything like this one, I'm sure they're great. The cookies & brownies are also yummy. And the service has always been great! Never write reviews but this place was so good I just had to. New favorite sub restaurant. I hope they open more in Riverside.

The subs I have had so far are very good, the bread is soft fluffy and chewy, the meat and additions seem to work well together and are of good quality. I have had the meatball sub, the New York Steamer and the new Cuban, all are very good. I look forward to trying different sandwiches. What I do have a small compliant about is the mac and cheese. It's almost $5 for a small little container that pretty much tastes like a box type. Not saying it's bad, it tastes fine, but nothing special that would warrant almost 5 bucks cost specially for the small amount provided. I can't attest to any other sides yet, its still a work in progress for me and it's not a deal breaker, just will stay away from that item in the future read more

I ordered a large order of subs. Mine was a Turkey club with ham and hardly any meat! It was all bread! A 12.00 sandwich for almost all bread? I don't think so! I wanted to like this place but I'm going to have to stick to Jersey Mikes. Meat portions are always right. read more

I love their food but the service is so slow. Every time I order my food online to be ready for a specific time and I have to wait 20-30 minutes after that time for it to be ready. No sure what the point of ordering ahead is if they don't make it to order. Same excuse every time that the ticket came out late or just came out. I will usually order 45 minutes to an hour before I want to pick it up so it isn't like I placed the order 5 minutes before. I know we are dealing with a pandemic but like I said I order ahead. They either need more help or more training. All their grubhub and postmates orders are filled in timely manners. I stopped a guy to ask what time the order was placed just to see. read more

Let me start by saying I walked in by chance Had to take my mother to Kaiser Er and we were not allowed to go in We are out of the area and were starving so we decided to try Firehouse Subs Ilene greeted us w a warm smile and great energy My first time at Firehouse so I did not know what to order so she offered a few suggestions. My family was in Riverside area looking at RV's and afterward looking for somewhere to get some lunch and sit outside to eat. We happen upon the FireHouse Subs on Magnolia. We were greeted warmly as we entered. One of the employees let us know how ordering worked and the 4 of us all decided on the Brisket sandwich. We didn't have to wait too long and we went outside in the shaded seating area. 2 of us also got a soft drink. They have a pretty cool soda dispenser and nice young man fixed us up. I was able to get a Cherry diet Dr. Pepper. Yummy! The Brisket sandwiches were delicious! So tender it just about melted in our mouth. The bread was fresh and equally good!! I would highly recommend this little treasure. The only bad thing is I live on the central coast and there aren't any Firehouse subs in our area. read more
