I've stopped here a couple times for lunch in the last couple of weeks. It had been a little while since I had had Firehouse Subs and I'm glad I stopped in. I am never disappointed by the food I get from this company. On my first visit, I went with an Italian, which is my go to favorite, but I customized it a bit. They did a perfect job on it, and I loved it. On my second visit, I tried the firehouse hero, which I also customized a little bit. This was my first time having this one, and I was totally impressed with it. I went with a medium sub each time and had them as a meal which comes with a small bag of chips and a drink. Every sub comes with a pickle unless you don't want one. if you haven't tried Firehouse Subs then you really don't know what you're missing. I always get a hot tub just because I like them that way. this location is right around the corner from the Florida mall tucked away in an odd corner. Like all their locations they have a long counter on the one side where you place your orders and then pick them up at the other end. They have a couple rows of tables if you want to dine in. Chips are on a rack towards the back near the soda machine. The one new thing they have which I tried on my second visit. Is there a hot sauce bar. I know a lot of restaurants have been doing this lately, but I have not really experienced one outside of someplace that was Mexican orTexMex. This is my second time coming to this location and this confirms that this location is the most unwelcoming restaurant business that I have ever been to the employees are dry. They don't greet you. They just walk up to you. Ask you need to order. No I'm good. This will be my last time coming to this location and then when they give you your food, they just set it on the counter. Doesn't even call your name either even though you're sitting right there which makes no sense. Do yourself a favor. Don't come here. read more

Sad to write this as I love firehouse. Ordered Uber eats from this location. Food was delivered and after a couple bites noticed the entire bottom bun was molded over. Not just a little(see photos). I called the store to tell them and got no real response. I was told, well we get fresh bread everyday so that's not possible. Well it's clearly possible. Called firehouse corporate. Was told the store owners would contact me. And, nothing. Filled out an online form and got 4,000 pts . Really. You sent me a disgusting, molded bun and offer me some worthless points. Unreal. Standard FH location. Very clean!! Tables aren't too close together and the pickup area is accessible. Staff seemed friendly but I did an online order so not much interaction. Everything was great and my order had no issues. Delicious, as always. Hook and Ladder has my heart! Notes: This has nothing to do with FH but the parking at this spot is a big mess. You'll likely have to park at the bank or by the dumpster. I definitely recommend going for an early or late lunch because right at lunchtime is definitely worse. The bank gets busy and this section of the strip just seems forgotten when it came to parking spots. read more

This location is one of my favorites. It's always clean and the staff is always friendly. My favorite sandwich is the Hook and Ladder. It never disappoints. Great taste and that bread is so fresh and soft. They have a new Coca Cola Freestyle machine. Love it! Tried one of their chocolate chip cookies for the first time. As one who doesn't like all chocolate chip cookies, I will say theirs are very good. read more

Do yourself a favor and do NOT go to this Firehouse Subs. The employees there are very unorganized, and the manager is very rude. I had placed an online order at 11:45a for a 1:10pm pick up. I arrived at the store at 1:15pm and had to wait 8 minutes for them to make my sub. When the manager handed me my bag, I had to ask for my cookie (that I had paid for with my online order). He placed the cookie in the bag and said "sorry about that." I told him how I placed my online order at 11:45a & still had to wait and he said "yeah, sorry" in a sour tone. I told him I would write reviews on social media and he, in a condescending way, said "I look forward to it". I have a very short lunch break is why I placed the order to pick up at 1:10pm. (11/1/2018) Came primarily to get a helmet for a party, got lunch to go. Had the Firehouse "Hero." Not sure how I feel about the steamed meats and cheeses. I find it gets squishy, but it's def moist. Got the sub "Fully Involved" (meaning topped with everything). Meats and cheeses were a good quality. Virginia honey ham was decidedly sweet. The sub roll is def on the chewy side. The way the subs are built, there's definitely a lot of slippage to it when you go in for a bite. Everyone was very nice, almost too nice. People were taken aback and unsure how to respond. First I'll explain why I deducted one star: horrible parking and not a lot of seating. Especially during lunch hour and this entire plaza gets slammed during lunch hour! But these things aren't entirely the restaurant's fault, so I can't hold it against them too much. Came for a medium Italian as always. The cashier (who I think is the manager) was friendly and quick. He was up selling the guy in front of me to upgrade to a large sub, but he didn't with me, for which I'm grateful. Stopped in for a quick lunch and maybe I should have gone elsewhere. The woman at the register was the highlight of the trip. She was so sweet, and funny. I ordered the hook and ladder fully involved with a pickle on the side. The major problem was that my sub was not hot. It was lukewarm on the outside, and the meat inside was cold. however the cheese was melted but the sub roll was soggy. They do put a good amount of meat on the sub and the sandwich did fill me up. My pickle was not a happy pickle. When I pulled it out of the bag it slumped down into a frown. It was such a sad little pickle, but I still ate it. Perhaps the problems I had here are indicative to the lunch rush and that during slower times you are more likely to get better food. read more

I love the bread that they use and the choices are your standard mix of hot deli style sub sandwiches. I've had almost all of them ranging from the Meatball sub (4 stars) to the Engineers sub (very close to 5 stars) For me, I can never give a Pepsi only fast food place five stars, although the food is fantastic, I'm a Coke fan from before the Mean Joe Green commercial. The food is good, as expected with Firehouse Subs, but what sets this eatery apart from other restaurants is the incredible customer service. I was seriously taken aback by the attentive, friendly staff, who really went out of their way to make the experience pleasant. I normally wouldn't write a review based solely on the service, but when a company has such overwhelmingly great employees and service, it deserves shoutouts and praise. I have always wanted to try Firehouse Subs, but I steered away due to the pricing for such small subs. Well, while vacationing with my bf recently. One of our stops was Orlando. My bf was coming down with a nasty cold (bummer) so I decided to go out and pick me up something to eat and bring it back to the room. Looking at near by eateries, I opted for Firehouse subs, hey there is a first time for everything. I entered the location which was ducked off in a shopping plaza. Three gentlemen greeted me. I was so confused on what to try because I was starving and everything sounded good. A few minutes later, I decided on the Turkey Bacon Ranch. GREAT CHOICE!! The sandwhich is a bit small but, my palate thanked me for the option. The bread was slightly toasted, the ingredients were fixed to perfection on the sandwhich. I think I may want another one as I am doing this review!! I will also say the prices on their to go menu is different from the prices on the board in the store. Not by much, only .20 but it is still not accurate. I pointed this out to the manager and he stated I was the first person to ever informed them of that. I like the Firehouse Steamed subs, they are delicious. I frequent this location from work often and felt I needed to list this location. They do have 292 other locations so look them up to find one closest to you. My personal favorite are the New York Steamer Sub and the Engine Company Sub. This location gets busy at lunch time and it can take a while to get your food. read more

What can I say about this place other then Amazing. The staff is so friendly and upbeat. This is mine and my family's go to place for subs. My daughter loves the broccoli soup and her chicken sub. My family and I have visited many firehouse subs and I have to say hands down this is the only location that I have received all of firehouse subs values and quality. Other restaurants may have nicer decor but their food quality is sub par or the sandwiches were not even made correctly or the meat steamed hot enough. This store gets it right every time. read more

Food is always really good here! It gets very busy around lunchtime and it can be confusing as to where to order your food at. Be prepared to wait about 10 minutes once you order your sandwhich but either way its still really good and also REALLY small inside. read more

So I've been to this Firehouse several times and I've never been disappointed. I truely love Firehouse subs because they're warm, hearty, and oh so tasty. My personal favorites are the Hook & Ladder (plus cucumbers - no extra charge) and the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket... you can actually see the smoke coming out of the sandwich! My daughter loves the meatball sub and my boyfriend really likes the Turkey Bacon Ranch. If you order the meal you can your choice of chips and soda... they have the soda machines that has a whole bunch of selections that you can mix flavors. Oh and you get a pickle! This place is way better than Quiznos and definitely Subway. It's more expensive but worth it! Enjoy! read more

Been here a few times. The subs are nothing special but pricey for there size. The service is good but that is about it. There are so many other better sub places around here for around the same price. About the only place which I would say fire house has better sibs than is subway. read more
