And the quality... well, there's no comparison. You do get what you pay for. This Thriftys has very friendly staff who all recognize me and always say hi. I buy a lot of fresh veg and bananas, and the produce is excellent albeit a little higher priced. But I'll pay a little more for consistency which saves me time going to another store. I've also always had very positive interaction asking if they have more/bigger in the back. Well stocked shelves, very clean store, lovely bakery, nice variety (especially considering it's a smaller store), nice atmosphere, and great floral department. Some good snack and lunch ideas in the deli department. The store may be small but they almost always have what I want and more. One stop shopping 99.9% of the time. Their customer service is excellent. I also want to mention one specific experience. I'm a local shop keep and my two door freezer went down one day. I went over to Thriftys and asked if there was any chance I might be able to store some inventory in their freezer for a day or two til mine got fixed. One of the owners said they didn't really have the space (like I said, it's small store), but then he looked at me and said, "You know what? We'll make the space for you." I was so grateful.
