Called in an order when I was passing through on I-75. Was told it would take 20-25 minutes, which seemed like awhile but ok. Got here, waited in line to pay, including adding 2 drinks. Went over to fill our cups with iced tea and they were out. When we asked they said, "Oh, our tea machine is broken." Of course there's no sign letting you know until you have already paid for your iced tea. Just got my sandwiches after 32 minutes and they apologize for the wait. You can Not get service there. The assistant mngr Quinton is on some power trip like he has power over the customers. I literally watched an entire family of 6 walk out tge door, 5 minutes later a family of 4. 5 people lined to get orders, couldn't get them either. I watched a guy come out go to his wife in the car who was absolutely livid, tgey could not get there order. This was in the evening of Friday, however Friday was same, and Quinton again. He stops to re do his hair on the line, juggles tickets so you can't get your order. I watched him juggle tickets again abd then watched him walk out the vack door with food and leave. I will not go there again iluntil these matters change. Quinton is mouthy to customers and makes snide remarks. Emwhen you ask for management day or night you are told they have no manager , and the district manager never comes there, so it doesn't matter. Many people have said the same, both shifts 5 people were present on staff, but yet you can't get your food at all. Doordash was lined up, being held up at least an hour some more . Walk in, either walking out or again waiting extensive amounts of time, or canceling their orders. Unacceptable at best, however the attitudes of the so calked asst mars appalling. Look out Subway and Quizno's....This place has your number!!! Came in hungry and boy did this place satisfied!!! Same kinda feel like Subway... but the decor has history behind it... The owners father had 43yrs of firefighter service... as bits and pieces of firefighter memorabilia covered the walls... this place had a very comforting and homey feeling... The Staff had that lovely, down home, southern hospitality!!! gotta love that!!! I had the: Firehouse Steak & Cheese® Tender slices of sauteed Sirloin Steak smothered with melted Provolone, sauteed Onions and Bell Peppers, Mayo and Mustard Now because They steam their sandwiches... instead of rubberize it in a microwave like some places(subway) or burn it up in a toaster oven like others(quizno"s) This really makes a difference cause it locks in so much moisture...it... just... tastes... better... I only left one star because 0 wasn't an option. Does this store have any type of management? I'm not sure who's supposed to be running this store but they really need to get a grip on it! The employees were running around laughing and playing, it took almost 5 minutes for someone to even take my order and when my order was taken the cashier was so rude to me I felt as though I was an inconvenience to the business. When I finally got my order, none of the tables had been wiped clean, with covid you would think that sanitation would be a priority for a business who relies on their customers to keep them running!! I do like Firehouse subs. So me and our boys went in for dinner one afternoon a couple of weeks ago and the cashier had mistakenly gotten my order wrong. I went back in and paid for the rest of the order and thought well I could have gotten a larger sub at the same price. I am not that fond of subs, generally, but I love Firehouse Subs. I've had a couple of different kinds, and they're all good, but my favorite by far is the barbecue cheddar brisket. Also, the cherry limeade is absolutely incredible. read more
