They have a great selection of chips, but try their fresh made sides - my favorite is their potato salad.

On every occasion, all our food has come to the table COLD. While the staff is eager to remake it once we say something, the issue is never fixed on the front end which leads to a lot of wasted food..which is frustrating and completely avoidable. We keep coming back hoping it's finally been addressed, and it never has. The overall experience feels extremely low-effort. Food is served on paper & with plastic, which immediately cheapens the visit. Much of the food comes out looking unappetizing, as if it's been slopped onto the plate, and at times it even looks microwaved rather than freshly prepared--especially disappointing for a BBQ restaurant. The food being delivered by a robot is also completely out of place and honestly awkward. It doesn't fit the restaurant at all and draws uncomfortable attention when it comes to the table rather than enhancing the experience. The bathrooms are another issue. They've been dirty on multiple visits, and there are no paper towels at all--only one of those hand blow-dryers. That might work in an airport, but it's incredibly impractical in a restaurant, especially when you're trying to clean kids' hands or faces after messy BBQ. The only reason we've continued to give this place chances is the friendly staff, and the hope that maybe the next visit would finally be better. The ice cream shop next door is honestly one of the biggest reasons we stop at all. Overall, the experience feels bare minimum. I'd rather run through a drive thru chain. It's unfortunate because this place has potential..but it's hard to recommend unless real changes are made. For now this was our last visit.

Chef's kiss. We sampled a few, and the views while snacking were straight out of a postcard--peaceful, pretty, and perfect for pretending you're in a cheese commercial. Whatever you do, don't skip the Café. It's in this gorgeous, huge old barn that's been lovingly renovated into a temple of ooey-gooey grilled cheese goodness. It's basically sacred ground for sandwich lovers. Grilled cheese is their thing, and oh boy, do they do it justice. My husband went for the Smoked Bologna, I had The Big Cheese (because... obviously), and our friends followed our lead. No regrets. These sandwiches are THICK, golden, buttery slabs of bread hugging melted cheese like it's a warm embrace from grandma. Pro tip: One whole sandwich is basically a cheesy Everest. My husband took half to go. I, on the other hand, showed no restraint. Dessert? Oh yeah. We shared a chocolate peanut butter shake (sin in a cup), and our friends had the cake batter one--because balance, right? Also, they have a super cute shop where I snagged some Tennessee jams to bring home. Gifts, I said. For others. (Probably.) It's a lovely spot--perfect for a chill picnic with family or friends... or to just sit quietly while your food coma gently sets in.

I'm not sure if the person at the counter was new or training but he didn't know if they served hot cocoa. Another staff member taught him how to prepare it and ring it up. She asked if I wanted whipped cream but didn't say it was a $1 up charge which is quite steep for a drink that's only $3.50 or so to start. It was just canned whipped cream so that felt very pricey: the cocoa was average. I also ordered a cheese Danish to go and the employee just opened a box and the lid of the Danish cloche and told me to grab one. I feel like they should use a paper to grab it; I don't like the thought of other customers putting their hands in to choose. I also didn't want to touch my own pastry with my bare hands before washing. It didn't really make me want to return to try a sandwich. I understand that new employees need training, if that was the case. But I do think they should be familiar with what basic beverages are available.

I got a sandwich with avocado and this is the first place I've ever been to that understands that gluten free bread is half the size of normal bread and served me two small gluten free sandwiches that were equivalent to a normal size sandwich. The service was very slow and the sandwich was very dry. It could have used a sauce or mayo or something. The rest of my group had bagel sandwiches that they didn't enjoy. The avocado was unripe and possibly or frozen and thawed which doesn't improve the texture or flavor.
