I had never been to a Huddle House before, I always went to Cracker Barrel. What I found was a clean restaurant, friendly staff and great food. When ever I'm close to a Huddle House restaurant I'll be stopping again and hope it's as good as this one. read more

Great place for a relaxing meal with friendly people. The staff is friendly and helpful, patrons are friendly but still allow privacy if that's your thing. The food is always served hot with ample portions for an attractive price. We love coming here on weekends for breakfast. read more

Family was traveling the mountains and spent a month in Sweetwater. Someone recommended Huddle House so we went because we love a good breakfast place. We were not disappointed. Both the food and service have been great, and we have been there at least 3 or 4 days a week during our stay. Try the Southern Benedict... Yum! read more

Stayed at motel next door and tried this restaurant for breakfast. Hubby had blueberry cheesecake French toast, with sausage and eggs, I had cinnamon pecan French toast. Both were delicious. Service was friendly and quick. Would return if we are in the area. read more

Not sure why the ratings for this establishment are so low because every time I have been in here its been GREAT!! This place is packed to the fullest. Not a seat available. I always order the MVP!! It has 2 eggs, hash browns or fruit-I chose the fruit, biscuits and gravy-I chose the grits and wheat toast, and a waffle.....which I love! There are 3 cooks. 4 waitresses all VERY busy while things are running very smoothly. No complaints from anyone. Food looks great going to the tables. Making me very hungry!! The eggs were cooked over medium perfectly, the fruit was honeydew, cantaloupe and pineapples. The grits were hot and great! The waffle was of great vanilla flavor, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. Great meal- Will be back and challenge anyone to come in and revise these bad reviews to the true service and food quality they most deserve. There is nothing wrong with this establishments service and the way the food is prepared. read more

MY wife order breakfast the eggs tasted like rubber hashbrowns on taste. Biscuit came with meal and she order Rasin bread first so the charge her .99 cent of the upgrade the charged her for the biscuit another 2 dollars and some change. I got Philly sandwich and fries. Meal was good tasting but the sandwich had about a once of meat on it. It cost over 5 dollars for coffee and Ice tea. Can't say I will go back again read more

Great food, excellent service! My husband & I have been going every morning since we arrived in TN, we've never had a single complaint. Food is delish, you can watch them cook right in front of you so you know it's fresh. Put's Denny's & IHOP to shame, prices are more than reasonable, always exceptionally clean. My husband and I went to Huddle House in Sweetwater, Tn today for lunch. The place was packed. Apparently you need more help as half the tables were still covered with dirty dishes that no one cleared off. We asked to have a table cleared so we could sit down. We ordered our food and after 45 minutes,asked how much longer before our food would be teady. There were all kinds of food sitting on the warming shelf, but none was going out. When asked who it belonged to, the waitress said they were misorders...mistakes. The waitress came back and told us 8 minutes, so we told her to cancel order, that we were leaving There were other people leaving also. Too bad, you probably lost alot of customers, including the ones who came in and turned to leave when they found no clean tables . read more

This is a clean restaurant with friendly prompt service and very fair prices. The portions are large. If I had one issue it is they don't have spinach or feta on the menu for a healthy breakfast omelet choice. But considering the region it's understandable. I will go back. read more

We live local and eat here the reason why they got two stars today was due to the male server that was working this morning was loud boisterous out loud carrying on the dining we couldn't even hear each other when we were conversing also when he went to the kitchen area behind closed doors and was carrying on loudly you could hear him in the dining area. Finally we had to speak to somebody about loud noise and carrying on nothing rude. His carrying on that he was doing but it was interrupting to dining area. They followed through and it improved. For the black first, I'd like to mention the food was very good. Our waitress very good. Always had good food there. We've been going there for years and this is the first legitimate complaint that we have especially when we were dining as a family. We will be back again and submit another rating. I came in here this morning our waitress we saw literally twice, once for our drink order and once to take our food order. The food tasted AWFUL and we never got drink refills. Only thing good to say is we got large food portions. I'm very disappointed and won't be back I'll be going to the Waffle House From now on. read more

Huddle house Well here is another depressing review. What is so sad about it was the fact that we had looked forward for so long of getting the huddle house in Sweetwater. We have eaten here 4 times since the opened about two to three weeks ago. The first trip was a bit of a let down. The server staff was a bit slow and badly trained. Our drinks went empty for more than 20 minutes. It took over 40 min to get our order taken and then another 30 min for the meal to be brought to the table. We also saw one of the kitchen staff picking up dirty dishes from the tables, carrying them to the back then NOT CHANGING her gloves. A clear health code violation. As anyone who have read my blog or reviews before knows , we have been restaurateurs for over 30 years and my wife and I are classically trained chefs. So we do know what we are talking about. A bad first start. However, we had looked so forward to it coming we tried it a couple of more times giving them the benefit of the doubt as they were new. Today's visit really took the cake though! We went in for breakfast. We were promptly seated by a very polite young man right to the left of the kitchen, where you could see all of the cooking being done. All I can say is if you are cooking in an open kitchen, you had better be 100% by the health code and very clean because EVERYONE SEES YOU! He was very chipper and enthusiastic. After about 20 minutes our waitress came and too our drink order. Then they seated a family behind us after about 15 minutes. As we were sitting there waiting on our drinks we were watching a video on my phone and all of the unclean things that the cooks were doing. Primarily one older woman and a younger girl. They both touched there clothes including the seat of their pants to pull up their pants, picked up two dirty bowls and baskets that were knocked to the floor and NEVER CHANGED THEIR GLOVES! This is a health code violation! It's dirty, the younger girl actually reached into a bowl of broken eggs to get a shell out and had not changed gloves since touching her shirt, face and pants. You are supposed to change gloves after handling dirty dishes, touching clothing or anything due to contaminating you good. Come to think about it I never saw any of the kitchen staff change there gloves. At this time we told our waitress that we were not going to order because they had unclean food handling practices. Then the older woman started yelling out that I had been recording them. She should have checked before she made a fool of herself as stated earlier we were watching a video on my phone. The owner just happened to be there at the time we were leaving and heard the commotion of the older woman cook yelling at me . He asked what was wrong so we told him about her and the others health code violations. I showed him my phone so he could see the video we were watching. He apologized and said they needed more training. I told him that his cook that was yelling across the room that I was recording her needed help that something was wrong with her. But we will never go back! read more

The food at huddle house is excellent. Except for one thing the hashbrowns. The hashbrowns are terrible they are nothing but stale.

Amazing restaurant! Relaxed atmosphere and kind employees. Accurate and very on it. Loved my visit! Will be back!!

Service has been fantastic, food is "upscale Waffle House". Parking is tight because people can't park their pickups. Food has generous portions. read more
