Had an opportunity this week while in the Smokey's to visit Benton's Smoky Mountain Country Hams…read more Had a wonderful visit with Allen Benton and his son Darrell. He took us on a guided tour of his facility. We got to see the hams in the process of curing and the storage rooms. Also got to see the staff processing bacon and packaging it. We picked up a country ham, several packs of bacon, smoked sausage and some smoked cheddar cheese. We just loved the place and the hospitality! Very nice, clean facility!
