The first two small baskets of chips are included and with the second basket they didn't bring or offer to refill the chunky salsa. Both were tasty. If you want more than that, there's a small fee. For drinks, I ordered the sangria fresco, which was fine, but I wouldn't order it again. Something in it gave me an immediate headache. No idea what that could have been. Another in our party ordered a margarita and that was really good- served in a mason jar on the rocks with a salted rim. Refreshing and tangy as you'd expect. Our meals: Fish tacos served with grilled tilapia - for a nice bonus they were served with avocado on top. He loved these. Fajita salad with chicken in a taco shell bowl. She said it was yummy and very filling. Veggie burrito made vegan by replacing the cheese sauce with a red sauce. The red sauce was basically a plain tomato sauce with a little seasoning - not great. The veggies in the burrito included an over abundance of sautéed spinach, a disappointing scant amount of barely there mushrooms, grilled onions and peppers, and weirdly raw broccoli florets. I love a bite of raw broccoli on a raw veggie platter, but inside a burrito was ... weird. It was difficult to cut and the texture didn't mesh with the rest of the burrito. It needed to be steamed longer or grilled / sautéed. The rice and refried beans were delicious! Probably the best beans I've had in recent memory- they have some texture to them, not soupy smooth like some places, and a fabulous smoky flavor. Get the beans. The place itself is set up the same way the former restaurant was, with the same nasty mold on the ceiling tiles (so gross). The building owner needs to hire a good roofing company. The people were friendly and service was good, but we were there mid afternoon on a Sunday and no one else was in the place. It looks like they do a trivia night and have other things happening.

The restaurant was very clean and gave off a great vibe. Our waitress was friendly and gave great suggestions. We order quesadillas. I got steak and sis got chicken. Very flavorful but needed more cheese. The guacamole was chunky with lots of flavor. Margaritas top notch. Will definitely be returning.

Our breakfast was sizable, a fair price and all had a southern charm to it. From the eggs Benny, to the bacon infused waffle, to the breakfast potatoes, everything was delicious. My biggest recommendation is to get on the virtual wait-list prior to arriving at the restaurant, you will be quoted a time and then just show up and check in within that window, effectively getting you ahead of some of the walk-up traffic and getting you on with your day.

Also, there are only a handful of free parking spaces so your best bet is to use the free trolley or just pay for parking. Also, you have to wait outside, so keep that in mind if it's cold out! The pancakes are delicious and perfectly cooked throughout despite being extra thick. They are fluffy and very fairly priced. Biscuit and gravy was also a great choice. Gravy was creamy and smooth with a hearty biscuit. Biscuit breakfast sandwich was also top notch, with perfect egg and sausage and Biscuit. We ordered a cinnamon roll to go, and while we really liked the super smooth and light icing, we all felt the roll itself was pretty dry and bland (we ate it about 10 minutes after receiving it). That was the only dissapointing piece. Food was served very quickly, impressively so. Service was friendly, but the server only came by to take order and see if we wanted anything else before the check. A very friendly gentleman in a white chef type outfit delivered the food to the table. Restaurant was clean and large with a nice selection of reasonably priced options. We would definitely go here again.

Based on the reviews, I was so looking forward to our visit here. Truly though, we couldn't get out…read moreof there fast enough. Everything was unclean, which is the nicest I can put it. Visible dirt everywhere, hair found in our food, and our meal was unmemorable at best, since we were fighting flies the entire time, even though we were sitting inside. Whew.... Never Again!!

We came on a very busy Saturday night (weekend of Dogwood Festival, theatre night, and prom night)…read more Thankful to have a reservation, we were promptly seated while others with no reservation were being told three hour wait times. I loved the vibe of Tupelo, the hanging lush green plants on the side of the bustling kitchen, the cheerful staff and the lively music. Lizette was our server and she was just a darling. It was our first time here, and she was so helpful with her all of her recommendations. One of Lizette's favorites was the "Peach, don't kill my vibe" sangria. Which I just loved. I nice mix of peach and pineapple in a sangria. For our mains, we had the grilled harvest chicken and the chicken tenders. Both mains came with two sides. With my grilled harvest chicken, I got the mashed potatoes and the braised bacon green beans. The green beans were to die for, even my hubby was saying he should've ordered that as his side. The harvest chicken I loved--especially the sautéed spinach, red peppers and tomatoes on top. But if you can't handle spicy, this dish does have some heat to it. And we ended my birthday celebration with the heavenly banana pudding. It was heavenly in every way. Made in house, and so delicious that even my hubby ate it and he never cares for this dessert. If I could've licked that little bowl, I would've. We already cannot wait to come back and try some of the brunch items on their menu. We loved everything about Tupelo and hats off to Lizette for making our night even more special!!
