If you order anything from the grill, which has never been cleaned, expect it to be full of grease. They don't rotate stock they just put new products on top of old ones. Why can't ALL Sonic's be as good at making drinks as this Sonic does? We usually get the same drinks all the time, cherry limeade and a cranberry limeade. At our regular local Sonic's we have to taste each one to figure out which is which. Usually we have a hard time figuring it out because the flavors are so bland and the same (my wife does NOT like cherry). We've even asked for more flavoring because of that problem but, we never get. There was absolutely NO wondering which flavor was what at this location!! The flavors were spot on and absolutely delicious!! The cherry was cherry! The cranberry was cranberry! If this Sonic was closer to us than the hour drive (one way) we would be getting a drink there at least once-twice a week. We enjoyed it so much that we stopped going and coming. If the manager sees this review, please share with the Maryville locations so they too will know how to make a REAL drink. This location knocks it out of the park with their drinks! So disappointed w/our meals here, a week ago. They left off the fixings (tomato, lettuce, & onion) on my burger, which I didn't realize until I was home. Fries tasted like 'old grease' and couldn't be eaten. Shakes were just 'OK', nothing to right home about (Krystal across the street tastes better). We spent over $40 for 2 shakes, 2 burgers w/fries and the tip.... Too expensive and they are cooking in old grease that tastes horrible. If they are charging $35 for 2 hamburger meals w/a shake, they should be able to change out that old grease! read more

I had just come home from a long day from work and had gotten a footlong hotdog from sonic, I got home and eaten it and hopped in the shower. 3 hours later and mind you I have not eaten anything all day so this footlong was heaven at first, I find myself over my bathroom toilet puking and heaving and after that still puking when nothing left is there to throw up. Unreal!!! I like Sonic but this one takes the cake. I ordered a simple hamburger with mustard, ketchup and lettuce only ....the first one came to me with cheese on it. The Second one came to me with tomato and no mustard and ketchup...now we are waiting for the third one. It came back correct but burnt. Also ordered a double bacon sonic burger. Got home and NO bacon was on this. The large pineapple shake was full of pineapple tidbits. Too many pineapples. Will not be back at this location. read more

I used the app to order. Waited 10 minutes to head that way, it said the food would be ready for pick up in 5-7 minutes. It took me 5 minutes to drive there and I still had to wait another 10 minutes for them to bring my food. the food was okay except my bacon was over cooked. read more

Sadly I have to give at least 1 star and I promise you 1 star is to many!!!! We ordered a #6 hotdog meal with chili, mustard and onion, tots (wanted onion rings) because they were put of everything but tots and fries and a strawberry shake. Next was a #7 foot long loaded but o it came with chili and cheese, no onion, mustard etc. etc. etc., tots for the same reason as 1st order and an un sweet tea. From the time we ordered to time we got food 1 1/2 minutes. Order wasn't right, got a sweet tea instead of shake, charged us for the shake and the sweet tea and said they couldn't give us our money back unless we called the 800 number provided!!! What kind of bs racket are they running here? Talk about thieves!!!!! Anyhow, back to order. I get the tots out, ice fricking cold she says she can take tell back and give us fresh. She brings out the " so called" fresh and they were a mix of fresh and the same fricking cold ones we just sent back. My advice to you is just choose one of the other food venues here read more

Can't take order correctly. Food not good. Chicken precooked and soggy. BLT bread too toasted.

We just spent 25 min waiting on food. Although it was busy, I have never been to a Sonic, busy or not,that was that slow. When they brought the combo they didn't bring the drink after all that time. There were many employees there too. I walked up front at one point to ask if the order was actually processed to be sure no computer error and neither of the employees came back to answer. Of course, they have your money already so you can't leave. I will avoid this Sonic for sure. read more

Who doesn't love Sonic? The best place for a limeade on a road trip! Nothing out of the ordinary. Glad they were here.

Very good sonic. This has been newly refurbished, new manager and great food. Best milkshakes in Madisonville. Highly recommend this place.

My son & I went to Sonic Drive-In in Madisonville, Tn a few minutes after 8pm. We ordered 2 lg strawberry cheesecake milkshakes & after waiting 23 minutes, I asked how much longer. The girl who answered didn't say anything. Then, I'm assuming her manager, said "as soon as possible." I explained we had been there for 23 minutes already and needed to go & she proceeds to say,very rudely, "then leave then" and hung up, so we left. I promise you that Sonic will not get another cent from me. I explained to my son that it's one thing if they are busy and short staffed. They could let the customers know when they start to place their orders that "it may take longer tonight bc of this n that," giving the customer a heads up and the option to leave if they don't want to wait, but to be rude like that is not the way to handle things. So, if you are into waiting and being treated rudely then by all means this is the sonic for you. read more
