So I place my order, hit the "Redeem" button on my app, and I have 60 seconds to show them a number on my screen to get the deal. But the guy making my sub won't look at it - he says "wait until you get to the till and show the cashier". Meanwhile the clock is ticking....60 seconds pass and the code on my phone disappears. It's gone. I check all the screens and it isn't saved. After 60 seconds - gone. I say to the guy "Uh....my deal code is gone now. What do I do now?". The app doesn't allow you to get a new code - once you use it it's gone. Long story short, no deal for me. I guess my one star review isn't for the food, because I like Quizno's subs. My low review is for the employees at this location bumbling and not knowing how to use a restaurant-supported app. So I paid full price, and got no deal (the deal was the only reason why I went there). Employees didn't try to fix it, they just said "Oh that sucks, wish there was something we could do". They didn't care. I won't be going back.

I would go back for the food and good prices, but allow lots of time for the slow service.

There were a lot of tables and the whole place was very clean. They also have great specials and calories on each menu item. I got the Build Your Own Breakfast Wrap f3 eggs, feta, spinach, mushrooms, onions) with the potatoes upgraded to Crisp Up Your Homefries (homefries tossed with parmesan & topped with green onion). The wrap is small (which is fine by me) but it's because they skimp on toppings. It's mainly eggs. I don't think I had mushrooms at all and without hot sauce, this was not good. The home fries were clearly a second thought. Half of them had the paid upgrade and it was minimal at best. Like I said, this place was not for me. Maybe it was an off day but this was just not good.

I'd definitely go back except for a slightly upsetting experience when we were done with our lunch. My 12 year old niece came back from the bathroom - no tp. And when she tried to wash her hands, she turned on both faucets and only hot water came out - hot enough that when she came out of the bathroom, her hands were red and burned. Now I know that can happen, but when we mentioned it to the owner, and suggested that he reduce the temperature of the hot water, he refused to acknowledge that there might be a problem. He finally grudgingly went to check. My niece was left with red, sore hands, and feeling guilty for having said anything, and I was left feeling angry that the man was so dismissive!

For two burgers, one regular potato fries and a bottle of water, they told us it about $60. I told them the price didn't look right and I wasn't going to pay for that. The guy at the counter said he was customizing my order because it would be cheaper. All I wanted was to switch a beef pattie for a lamb pattie, that's all. One of the burgers already had lamb, the other one didn't so I wanted to switch it. Based on my calculation, it would be about $39 at the most with tax. How is $60 cheaper than $39? We didn't appreciate their staff looking at us every few minutes. Made us feel uncomfortable. There was nothing special about the burgers or the fries. Pattie was crumbly and the bun was soggy and couldn't hold the meat. We were glad to try it but it's not for us. Lesson learned from this dining experience: always question your bill when it doesn't look right. Even better, calculate it yourself and in advance is possible, that way you know exactly what you're paying for. And don't feel pressured to pay for anything until you're satisfied with your bill.

My experience at Fatburger Maple Ridge was one of the most humiliating and discriminatory…read moreencounters I have ever had in a public business. I am a disabled woman with a legitimate service dog, clearly identifiable and fully protected under British Columbia human rights law. Instead of being served like any other customer, I was treated with suspicion, stared at, interrogated, and made to feel as though I needed to justify my disability and medical accommodation to staff. That conduct is unlawful. Staff refused service, questioned me in an invasive and humiliating manner, and behaved as though my presence was a problem that needed to be examined or "verified." I was made to feel criminalized simply for existing as a disabled person. There was no professionalism, no apology, and no understanding of the law--only hostility and exclusion. This was not a misunderstanding or momentary confusion. It was a complete failure of training, management, and basic human decency. Under BC law, businesses do not get to decide whether a service dog is "real enough," nor are they permitted to interrogate disabled patrons or impose arbitrary standards. The duty is clear: you accommodate, or you discriminate. What occurred here meets the definition of prima facie discrimination. It is deeply disturbing that in 2025, a paying customer was subjected to this treatment. If this is how disabled patrons are handled, then this location is not safe, not inclusive, and not legally compliant. I will never return, and I strongly caution anyone with a disability or service animal to avoid this location. Corporate leadership should take this complaint seriously, as this conduct exposes the franchise to significant reputational and legal consequences. Do better. Train your staff. Learn the law. Disabled people are not criminals--and our service dogs are not up for debate.
