This is how the potatoe skins looked when they showed.

Food was bad. Server seemed bothered by having to wait on us. She walked away while my wife was trying give her order. Only to go to the bar and roll silverware.

Side dish of baked beans - you must try

We had a quick lunch at the Firehouse Pub. Very nice inside. Menu had burgers, wraps, salads, pizza, and a great selection of sandwhiches. The bake beans were so good as a sidedish. Our waitress was really nice and checked on us often. We were waited on right away. They were busy but plenty of seating. This is a nice place to visit and relax on a Saturday afternoon. I would recommend this place if you are driving through Roscoe. Looks like there is outdoor seating. Parking lot on the side of the building.

Cod and walleye with chips

Firehouse is a great spot for food. Especially their Friday fish fry. AYCE cod or walleye! Mix and match and you can't go wrong. Their southwest egg rolls are worth it for sure! The amazing item was the house chips. They are homemade and onion flavor, they give you a cup of sour cream to dip and it's like the best sour cream and onion chip ever!

My family and i have been coming here for years. Mainly for the half priced wings on Wednesday's. They have the best, most flavorful, crispy, delectable wings in the area for such a deal! We've tried their salads, fried pickles, burgers and honestly everything is such a great quality. You can serve yourself popcorn that's popped fresh daily while you wait for your food, or we typically just get take away food and bring it home ! They have great daily specials, the are great for large groups, birthday parties, family dinners, date night, or just carry out. They have so much seating, and the staff is always very accommodating. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant itself. If you haven't been and your in the roscoe area, try them out!

The Wednesday special chicken wings are tasty and delicious. Very good price. 50 cents each wing.

Louie's Tap House - Generations Pretzel City And Beyond Burger

Louie's Tap House

Came to this pub in Roscoe and had a pretty uneven experience. It looks pretty cool inside, with a…read moreton of TVs, and it's got plenty of room. Louie's Tap House is one of the few good hangouts in town. Has tons of local beers. The food menu has burgers and stuff at pretty good prices. A lot of people really come here just to get drunk. It's no wonder because there's a massive beer list. This is shown on a TV and goes through a few screens. A lot of local beers. It's about $8 for some of these. Among these is the Generations Pretzel City. There's tons of food though. It's $12 for the Louie Burger. Make it with a Beyond Burger patty for a couple bucks more. The food isn't really as bad as some people say. One thing sucks to be honest. The service. It was slow getting a small order of a Beyond Burger. This isn't even like it's a real one that gets cooked much. After that it was slow to get the check. The waiting was too long so we left money, though we didn't have enough for a tip. Good food, but it can take a long time, so keep it basic. It has tons of beers, which go great with burgers, or something. There's even burger options for vegans and vegetarians.

It's a shame the service is so poor at Loui's because the food is actually pretty good, but because…read morethey don't have enough staff or because there is poor communication the experience at Louie's is not good. We called ahead to let them know that 5 adults and two children were coming in for a birthday. We asked to be placed in the back room. They said they didn't take reservations, but the bar tender would be told we were coming and they could accommodate us. We arrived at 11:30 and were told we could seat ourselves in the back room and from that point on we were basically on our own. The bar tender appeared to be the only wait staff. So we went to the bar to order our drinks and then we went back to the bar with our food order. I am in no way blaming the bartender. She was on her own. There were people at the bar that she needed to take care of. However, we ended up getting our own silverware, straws...etc. once the food showed up. But a short time later people started coming into the back room and setting up for a party. And shortly after that we were asked to leave the back area. Our 8 year old birthday boy had not opened his gifts so we hauled the gifts to the bar area where he opened them. This "event" which we'd hoped to make special, was a bit of a disaster. Had I been the person writing our bill I would have deducted 25% and apologized. That did not occur. Full bill. No apology. We won't be returning.
