Unbelievable Friday Night Dinner at The Draft House!…read more While visiting family in Janesville, my uncle took us out to the drafthouse... the entire experience was a 10/10. The vibe was relaxed, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the food was top-tier. We ordered the Friday Dinner Features, and every single component was executed flawlessly: * 28-Day Aged Filet Mignon: A tender 6 oz hand-cut USDA choice filet served over a rich mozzarella-infused sweet potato mash, smothered in a savory bourbon brown sugar-espresso demi-glace, accompanied by two perfectly crisp bacon-wrapped shrimp and citrus buttered broccolini. * Tuscan Faroe Island Salmon: Beautifully seared salmon served over a bed of linguine tossed with heirloom cherry tomatoes and sun-dried tomatoes in a decadent Tuscan Parmesan cream sauce, paired with citrus buttered broccolini. Between the exceptional dishes, great wine, and warm hospitality, perfect service, it was by far one of my favorite dining experiences in Wisconsin. I highly recommend checking out their weekend features! #DraftHouse #JanesvilleWI #WisconsinEats #FamilyDinner #FiletMignon #TuscanSalmon #FoodieGram #WisconsinDining #GoodVibes #FiveStarReview #fyp #viral #reels #viralreels #fypシ #fyp #viralreelschallenge #foodie

There are stairs to get in the front, but it is level in the back where there is a parking lot as well! Our server was super nice and treated us well. They have pretty good beer list, but have a huge wine list surprisingly. They have many cocktails to choose from too! Our food was all delicious. They have a variety of options that span from fairly priced elevated "bar food" to gourmet dishes. The cheese curds came as cubes and were delicious! Super fun take on the traditional, and a must have for a bar in Wisconsin. For meals we got the hot honey chicken sandwich, tai chicken flatbread on cauliflower crust, lobster ravioli and DH burger! Everyone loved their meals. We'll be back for sure!

The staff attended to us like we were long time regulars, never hesitating to offer recommendations or samples of things. We loved everything we ate, ESPECIALLY the Fried Green Tomatoes. An ominous start....before arriving we wondered if it was even worth it ...It was!! After finally arriving we were quickly greeted and seated. Our server Angelica brought menus and took our drink orders promptly. The menu was quite impressive, many different choices and priced quite reasonably. My lovely bride ordered the Whiskey Ranch Chicken Sandwich w/waffle fries and for myself the Slow Smoked BBQ Beef Brisket that came with two sides and a salad. I chose waffle fries and mac and cheese. My bride called dibs on my salad with thousand island dressing. The side salad was a more than generous size with fresh greens and a very tasty salad dressing. After an appropriate amount of time the entrees arrived hot, fresh and more than generous proportions. Seeing that, we asked Angelica for carry out containers ahead of time in attempt to portion control. It was a good thing we did. My wife loved her Whisky Ranch Sandwich that came with Jack Daniel's glaze, bacon, lettuce, tomato onion, onion straws along with waffle fries as a side. The smoked beef brisket had the right amount of being smoked, not overpowering, a drizzle of bbq sauce, garlic bread and amazing waffle fries. I have to mention the brisket was so tender and was able to be cut with a fork. Angelica was an amazing server, excellent food at a more than reasonable price. I normally post a receipt, but the serving size and food quality and value was simply amazing. It was a good thing we had to park several blocks away, we definitely need the walk back to the car to burn off some calories. Kudos to Whiskey Ranch Bar and Grill for such an unexpected great meal.....also to Angelica for amazing service too.

The bar was severely understaffed for a holiday rush at 6:00 pm but the drinks we ordered were very good. The atmosphere is just what you want in an Irish bar. Just lots of friendly people having a good time. We both ordered the corned beef and cabbage and the portion could have fed a family of four. My only critique is that the brisket was not sliced correctly. It tasted really good but it was hard to eat as it was cut with the grain instead of against the grain. We topped of the meal with a Bailey's Irish cream cheese cake which was delicious. Will definitely try this place again to try their other culinary options. Just a fun place!

Whether its an undercooked hamburger or an Italian beef with barely any meat, or this most recent meal; It got so bad before I swore off that I would only order the taco salad because I knew the kitchen didnt make it. The most recent bad meal involved a chicken sandwich with no seasoning whatsoever on the chicken. Like many such Boundaries, meals, it lay half-eaten on my plate as I paid the overpriced bill. Service is inconsistent, but generally pretty good. Overall this is a place to get a drink, skip the dining unless its Friday fish fry.

Cheese balls are as good as you'd expect from Wisconsin. I had a chicken quesadilla and it was six large pieces and grilled perfectly. So my $8 supper is now going to also be tomorrow's lunch as I could only eat half. Hubby had a prime rib sandwich dinner. Wasn't cooked how he ordered but for ten bucks we didn't expect much. Said it was good though. His double pour drink was really a triple. He had to leave it. I've never seen him do that before. And was $9.50. My mixed rum drink was a little weak even for me, but was only $4.50. We will def visit again. Nice Inside with one part kind of country sports bar and the other sides more dining room like. Also had a covered back patio. For a quick really cheap really decent meal this is your spot. This sits behind the Hampton Inn and Home 2 Suites not far off the interstate.

Bobbleheads is not a place you can easily find - from Janesville its pretty much halfway to Beloit…read more I think the easiest way you can know about this space is the blue FOOD highway sign along I-90 to exit onto Afton. So although this property is a sports bar & grill, I suspect there is a family that actually lives in the commercially zoned property. Be that as it may for better for worse, here is my review. Huge expansive place. I had only been thru a handful of times, always off hours. Sure it has some potential. And for what it is, you can get what you want. Drink your typical drafts, eat simple food they grill right next to the bar. Score! But the tavern is poorly kept, perhaps that is good enough for the regulars which dine there but clearly there is not a great investment in making this the kind of place you would leave your house to go watch the big game, or the thriving place to want to spend your free time blowing off steam off the job. I thought about offering some of my own bobbleheads to donate to bobbleheads. But sadly with the pride they demonstrate in operating their place, I think my toys are probably better displayed in my storage locker buried in a crate. Regardless, if it was someone elses idea to grab a bite or spend time at bobbleheads - I would go. It is what you would expect.
