Hailey, is always very nice and attentive. Food is amazing and always hits the spot. Very clean inviting.

Chili (with onions and fresh jalapeño) and luimpia

Very mixed vibe with young and old crowd. First impression was an open well decorated space that could definitely use a deep cleaning. The older gentleman tending bar, possibly the owner, had trouble getting our drinks correct and he unfortunately used old rotten limes in them. Service was quick with food and drinks coming out fast. The chili and "lumpia" were very different than most and we enjoyed them both. I would go back to try more food but they need to improve on the beverage experience and dusting.

Super flaming hot wings. Delish. Doing a video here as one of the top 5 spots to get wings. These wings are definitely fire!

Straight trash food. Everything here is garbage. Wings were overcooked, sandwich was dry, service was trash. Avoid this place at all costs

My local place, the hot and sweet wings smoke away anything else in the valley, crispy, sauced, and served hot!

The thing that jumped out at me was the photo of the burger, now call me crazy but I think at this point I can look at a menu, photos of food and then the reviews to guide me. Yelp hasn't failed me yet! The first thing was walking in the door there were two hostess who smiled and greeted me. We were seated at the bar since there were just two of us. I ordered the Crave burger with bacon and my guest ordered the house salad with tortilla soup. Everything was excellent! The burger was juicy, flavorful, the bacon was perfectly crispy, Smokey and the white cheddar cheese was the perfect compliment! Now let's talk about the bun, I typically don't eat burger buns but this one was the exception to the rule. It was homemade obviously, buttery, light, and toasted to perfection. I ate both of them! Hahahaha! I felt so dirty typing that the French fries were crispy, just the right amount of salty and fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. My guest agrees with everything in this review. The house salad was fresh, the vinaigrette was homemade and delicious and the tortilla soup was even great! The ambience was a place you could have a business meeting or take your significant other on a date night. There is literally something for everyone on their crave-able menu ( see what I did there?) Our server who was the bartender kept our glasses full and made sure he checked on us often. I found my new burger spot in Eagle, Idaho?!?! Five stars.

With its varied menu and delicious happy hour selection this place could be a favorite for a wide variety of the local population. Classy, welcoming with engaging staff. While the selections of taps are diverse and smart for diners, it is the kitchen that is the real star here. We tried the Happy Hour fare (3-5 pm). See the pics for details. We also tried the Kobe sliders, but they fell short of the Chicken Sliders with their tender, juicy cuts of breast. The lineup of drinks are on full display at the bar and with scannable menus. This is a solid place for bringing friends or family for a gathering - yes, like the name suggests "Common". If anyone in your group cannot find a drink and meal to their liking, then you need to replace that person from your social circle or family. 2 hour free parking directly behind the building makes this location much better than the downtown businesses in the liberal ghetto of Boise where they will soon tax the air you breathe. Here, the pricing will not require you to take out a second mortgage as the Boise elites would have you do for eating in their downtown. It is no surprise that more quality dining places are opening in cities like Eagle, Caldwell, Nampa and Meridian where Idahoans can enjoy life.

The rib appetizer was also cooked to dry bones. The steak fritters were battered and deep fried? Why in the world would you do that to a perfectly good piece of meat? My guess is because it wasn't a good piece of meat. That also was overcooked and just weird. Definitely overpriced as the food was not good. Maybe they have something they are known for and we missed something? Either way, too many options out there to ever try again. It was a miss for us. The set up and ambiance was nice and they were very busy so people must like it. We sat at the bar and service was fine.

For some reason, we were seated in a corner booth near the bathrooms, while other customers were seated elsewhere in the restaurant. We didn't mind, however, because it was nice and quiet. And, for me, convenient. My wife had the Sirloin Salad, and I had the Ahi Poke Salad. My wife said that her meat was cooked the way she likes it, and the rest of the ingredients were delicious. For me, the ahi, sesame vinaigrette dressing, wonton strips, onions, and greens were very good. The food is always good at The Tavern. And, the prices are reasonable. Unlike our past experiences, the service this time around was not up to our usual. Our server, Hannah C., seemed in a rush and impatient. Though she told us to ask her if we had questions, I didn't find her responses to be pleasant. The first dish my wife was interested in had Boursin cheese. My wife had not heard of it, and she cannot eat a lot of cheese. She preferred something milder, like mozarella. When she inquired of Hannah, the reply was terse. "We don't have mozarella." "Do you have another milder cheese?" "Like what?" Not in a nice way, and not professional, in my opinion. And, she was loud. We waited longer than usual for our food, and when Hannah brought it, she just dropped the plates and split. To her credit, she did check in on us once during our meal. Now I don't know what kind of day Hannah was having. Maybe not so good. I don't know what kind of person she is, and I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that she is a nice woman. Hopefully she is not like how she was with us to all of her customers. I'm a 20% tipper. For her, it was 18%. I wasn't given a choice, but I would have gone down to 15%.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to order food because we had to catch a movie. However, during our visit, we overheard who we believe to be one of the owners (his photos were displayed on the wall) speaking poorly about employees and referring to them as "idiots." That alone was disappointing, but hearing it within earshot of customers felt extremely unprofessional. As a long-time business owner myself, I firmly believe you are only as strong as your team. Respecting employees -- especially publicly -- is critical to a healthy work environment and strong customer experience. It was uncomfortable to witness and ultimately the reason we won't be returning. I genuinely felt sorry for the staff working that shift. Additionally, it appeared that both owners may have been drinking while on shift, which also felt unprofessional. One of them did approach us and seemed very sweet, but after overhearing the earlier comments, it unfortunately changed the entire atmosphere for us. The overall ambiance was decent, and Alex did a great job. It's just disappointing when leadership undermines what could otherwise be a positive experience.

I got the surf n turf which was a 8 oz Waygu teriyaki top sirloin with 3 tempura prawns with coconut sauce and mashed potato. I asked for medium and it was perfect red center and the teriyaki sauce on top was perfect and all the guys agreed. The prawns are the same prawns as the appetizer just 3 with the plate, but the coconut sauce was great! Creamy and coconuty! Mashed potatoes were really good no complaints, soft and not buttery but still tasty. The guys I was with got the vanilla bean crembrule and the chocolate lava cake and there was nothing left so that tells you how good both were! I'm usually on top of it for photos but forgot this time and only have receipt as proof, looks like I'll just have to go back.
