A Truly Memorable Alpaca Experience…read more We visited Smooth Alpaca Experience as a group of six, ranging in age from 12 to mid-60s, and every one of us absolutely loved it. Joe was wonderful -- fun, informative, kind, humorous, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the entire experience engaging for both kids and adults alike. We especially enjoyed getting to know all of the alpacas, along with the hilarious three brother goats who definitely put on a performance for us! We learned so much about alpaca behavior, personalities, eating habits, the shearing process, and the care involved in raising them. It was also fascinating to see the finished alpaca products, including socks, hats, gloves, sweaters, and blankets, and to better understand the process from animal to finished product. Overall, this was a unique, educational, and genuinely enjoyable experience that we would highly recommend. Joe made the day extra special!

The alpacas are incredibly well cared for, mild-mannered, and friendly, each with their own unique and endearing personality. Joe is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely loves sharing facts and stories about the alpacas. You can tell he's passionate about what he does, and his enthusiasm makes the experience even more special. We learned so much while still having plenty of time to interact and enjoy the animals. If you're looking for a peaceful, educational, and truly heartwarming experience, this is it. Highly recommend to anyone

The experience is interacting with two 1 year old female kangaroos. We got to feed them and pet them and take pictures with them. We also learned a lot about kangaroos. We were also lucky because they were testing out joey holding as well, so we got to cuddle little joeys. Staff was great. Very knowledgeable and made the experience awesome. The experience is pricey, but would recommend and think it is worth it.

It was a little bit difficult to find because it's kind of in a warehouse section back from the street but inside it's adorable. It was a one hour experience and at first I was surprised by how many people were with us and I worried we might not get much time with the kangaroos but we totally did! We got to first sit in chairs and meet two two-year old male kangaroos and then got to sit on the floor on a rug and meet two one-year old female kangaroos. We got to feed them throughout the time- carrots, lettuce, apples and pears, and got to pet them and take lots of pictures. What adorable fun creatures!!! The two guides were so fun and informative- it was sometimes hard to pay close attention to their education because the kangaroos were so fascinating but we all picked up different interesting details that we had never known before. They do great work and we were all impressed and happy as we left. There is a great gift shop too with many cute kangaroo stuffed animals and other toys all at surprisingly reasonable prices. We each left with a little polaroid picture of us with a kangaroo and cute kangaroo stickers (and a coloring book if desired too). I highly recommend this experience!

Who knew Goat Yoga was a real thing? When my work hosted an event at Barnyard Buddies, I quickly…read morejumped on board to see what this new trend was all about. Let me say, it was so much fun! A few things: + They provide a yoga mat, as your personal mat will get really dirty! + Located on a beautiful ranch/farm in Loveland. + No need for any yoga experience! The instructor leads the class with basic yoga poses, yet the focus is more of the baby goats prancing on and around you! + The instructor and her husband are really engaging and do a great job of making you laugh. + The farm hosts a lot of animals! From a wild turkey and horses, to the instructors golden retriever roaming around, it's fun to see and pet all the animals. + A small souvenirs shop is onsite with coffee mugs, yoga mats, T-shirt's and goat inspired trinkets! + Makes for a great group event! Lots of laughs and baby goat fun! This is definitely the place to check out for a unique and fun experience!

Yes, of course there is yoga involved. But instead of focusing on the eagle pose, you focus on the fun pose that is conducive to pro-goat poses! The staff was so entertaining and nice! Our instructor did a fantastic job of leading the class and was so patient. All the while a friendly gentleman (I believe her hubby) made sure we all got some quality goat action! No one left unsatisfied that they didn't get the full run yoga experience! I went on my own because I'm a one man wolf pack. But most others went in small groups or with a friend so I imagine it's even more fun when your friends can snap photos all the while there is a goat enjoying your mat. :) Give in to your inner goat loving self and enjoy the quirk that is goat yoga! I dare you not to smile. You'll never make it through without giggling!

So let me start off by saying that this is a great place to bring kids. It didn't seem "run down"…read morelike someone else mentioned and it offered lots of cute activities for the little ones. Sure some of the activities were built using older machinery or even a few dated items but you're visiting a farm not some fancy outdoor mall or something. There was a bouncy pillow. Which I've never seen before but was a ton of fun. A little sketchy & very slippery if you're wearing socks but you just need to be cautious and aware of the other people bouncing. Both me and my husband bounced with our 27 month old and we all had a blast. There was a big hay slide, which our son also enjoyed. It was fairly high but was a great slide for kids. The tractor swings were cute but sorta what you'd expect from a set of swings. There was a little barrel train that's pulled around using a riding mower. But again, my 27 month old had a great time on these. They also had a few bouncy houses which are always pretty popular with the kids. There was face painting, a little playset for toddlers and of course the animals. My son petted the goats and enjoyed visiting the animals. There were pigs, ponies, goats, a sheep & a llama. I didn't see any other animals so there could have been others but those were the ones that were out when we visited. Now the reason why I didn't give this place 5 stars is because this is by no means a pumpkin patch. Yes, they sell pumpkins that you can purchase for a separate price. And yes, they advertise and stage the place like an actual patch, but this is certainly not an authentic pumpkin patch. One thing that stood out to us - we noticed one of the barns was the designated backstock where they kept huge crates of pumpkins purchased from elsewhere. They would obviously just go pull from the crates and set them out in an empty field to make it look like they were grown there. I guess if this is something you're not bothered by, then by all means. But it definitely bothered me and stuck out in my mind because I grew up going to pumpkin farms where they'd grown rows and rows of pumpkins and you'd have to walk up and down each row looking for just the right one. It just gave off a certain charm to be part of that. Whereas this place felt more like an imitation patch that offered lots of fall activities. In other words a fun center, NOT a pumpkin PATCH.
