I went with a couple of friends and it was so fun! We met outside Red Rocks and followed him to the farm. He was driving a little fast, so we were worried we didn't turn in the right spot when we couldn't see him, but we made it! It was such a unique experience to interact with the alpacas and the goats, and we got some great photo opportunities!

Overall it was a great experience! The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. My two young kids and I had a blast with the alpacas and goats! Highly recommend!

We had the BEST time! The owner was so welcoming and met us at the red rock amphitheater parking lot. We drove to the venue and had so much fun petting, feeding and interacting with the animals. Great activity to do for family or with friends! Thank you for having us!

I enjoyed the experience. We met up with our group at the red rock park which is only a few minutes away. We spent time with the alpaca and the goats. Fed them. Combed them and learned so much about them. Then we went into the shop to buy a few alpaca things.

Had the best experience at Joe's ranch. His alpacas and goats were so sweet and Joe was very knowledgeable. My friends and I came to Colorado for the weekend and this definitely made our trip!! Highly recommend!

Such a fun time and Joe was great!highly recommend whether you're a child or an adult! Red rocks is right there so you can visit that before/after.

This was a really special experience for us and our granddaughter. Joe has a remarkable venue and took the time to share his journey and how he got to this amazing place. The Alpacas and the goats are very docile and friendly and love being fed by visitors! I would recommend booking directly with Smooth Alpaca Experience and not going through Virgin. They were hard to reach and using the gift voucher was challenging.

Such a unique experience! Joe is very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions you have. The alpacas and goats were adorable and you get to feed, pet, and brush them. Definitely recommend!

Great host - explained information about the animals, let us feed and hang out with them, and calmly and engagingly answered our questions. You can tell he really cares about his animals and this makes the experience that much better. We will be back.

The experience was so much fun! I went with my best friend and her 6 month old daughter. Joe was so knowledgeable about everything and it was truly so enjoyable! The animals are so sweet.

The experience is interacting with two 1 year old female kangaroos. We got to feed them and pet them and take pictures with them. We also learned a lot about kangaroos. It was a little bit difficult to find because it's kind of in a warehouse section back from the street but inside it's adorable. It was a one hour experience and at first I was surprised by how many people were with us and I worried we might not get much time with the kangaroos but we totally did! We got to first sit in chairs and meet two two-year old male kangaroos and then got to sit on the floor on a rug and meet two one-year old female kangaroos. We got to feed them throughout the time- carrots, lettuce, apples and pears, and got to pet them and take lots of pictures. What adorable fun creatures!!! The two guides were so fun and informative- it was sometimes hard to pay close attention to their education because the kangaroos were so fascinating but we all picked up different interesting details that we had never known before. They do great work and we were all impressed and happy as we left. There is a great gift shop too with many cute kangaroo stuffed animals and other toys all at surprisingly reasonable prices. We each left with a little polaroid picture of us with a kangaroo and cute kangaroo stickers (and a coloring book if desired too). I highly recommend this experience!

What is great is you can use the tickets for any day the whole season so you don't have to pick a day to go and worry about needing to change the day! Super convenient and the price is good! We paid for the basic entry ticket and nothing extra and it was worth it! So much is included you don't need to worry about not being able to do anything! We were there for 4hrs and didn't even do all the things we could have. We ate lunch there, the food was expensive but that's common nowadays. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious! So don't worry about not liking the food, it's well prepared and tons of options. We also got a coffee and it tasted good too! They really have it all! My favorite part was the mutin-busting, they made it so fun! The corn maze was a close second, it's not too hard and fun! This place is super kid friendly and the price is worth all the fun you get to enjoy! Also they out wood chips on the ground everywhere so you don't need to worry about mud! We will be back!

They had a few treats like caramel apples, tea, and hot cocoa, which made it feel extra special. We leisurely walked the trail, and it took about an hour to see everything. Crowd: Going late in the season was perfect practically no one there. We could take our time and really enjoy the lights without feeling rushed. Customer Service: Staff were friendly and welcoming. Check-in was easy. Just scan your ticket at the front and everyone at the food/drink stands was helpful. Overall Experience: I had a great time. While I might personally pick Denver's Blossom of Lights first, Chatfield Farms is still a fantastic, affordable, and festive experience. The majority of our party lives in Littleton and was excited to check out the location Unfortunately, a negative staff interaction--combined with the management's subsequent response--left us unimpressed and unlikely to return or join. We needed to change a soiled diaper and politely asked the restroom attendant (female, long brown hair) to briefly use the nearby locked restroom for that purpose only. She refused, directing us to walk "down the path" to another restroom she was "pretty sure but not 100% sure" had a changing table, and displayed clear frustration (sighing heavily, pretending to search for security) when we asked again. No other guests were around. This posed an unnecessary health risk to our infant and felt anything but family-friendly. After escalating the concern, the manager emailed us explaining that their processes were only implemented in June 2025 and they're "still working out the kinks." More frustratingly, they admitted the restroom was intentionally closed on Free Day specifically to prevent lines from forming--not for maintenance or any operational reason. Prioritizing crowd control over basic family needs like diaper changes is disappointing for a venue that promotes itself as welcoming to families. I followed up with the management asking what changes had been implemented and did not receive a response. Very unprofessional. Regrettably, this experience has left us neither confident nor interested in becoming members.
