This is a really great place and a unique experience I'd highly recommend! A group of animal loving friends and I made the drive from Colorado Springs this Saturday for their Meet and Greet experience. It was a little bit difficult to find because it's kind of in a warehouse section back from the street but inside it's adorable. It was a one hour experience and at first I was surprised by how many people were with us and I worried we might not get much time with the kangaroos but we totally did! We got to first sit in chairs and meet two two-year old male kangaroos and then got to sit on the floor on a rug and meet two one-year old female kangaroos. We got to feed them throughout the time- carrots, lettuce, apples and pears, and got to pet them and take lots of pictures. What adorable fun creatures!!! The two guides were so fun and informative- it was sometimes hard to pay close attention to their education because the kangaroos were so fascinating but we all picked up different interesting details that we had never known before. They do great work and we were all impressed and happy as we left. There is a great gift shop too with many cute kangaroo stuffed animals and other toys all at surprisingly reasonable prices. We each left with a little polaroid picture of us with a kangaroo and cute kangaroo stickers (and a coloring book if desired too). I highly recommend this experience!

Best pumpkin patch in Colorado! We had the best time and will be back! I recommend buying tickets…read morein advance online because you get in faster! What is great is you can use the tickets for any day the whole season so you don't have to pick a day to go and worry about needing to change the day! Super convenient and the price is good! We paid for the basic entry ticket and nothing extra and it was worth it! So much is included you don't need to worry about not being able to do anything! We were there for 4hrs and didn't even do all the things we could have. We ate lunch there, the food was expensive but that's common nowadays. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious! So don't worry about not liking the food, it's well prepared and tons of options. We also got a coffee and it tasted good too! They really have it all! My favorite part was the mutin-busting, they made it so fun! The corn maze was a close second, it's not too hard and fun! This place is super kid friendly and the price is worth all the fun you get to enjoy! Also they out wood chips on the ground everywhere so you don't need to worry about mud! We will be back!

The pumpkin patch itself is not nearly as big or cool as some of the others, and the corn maze was only about waist high, but the overall experience Was way more enjoyable here. Pig races were a blast. Food was really decent stadium food quality overall great experience highly recommend if Ryan had kids I think he would bring him here.

There was a $14.99 fee per kid at the pumpkin patch which included painting a small pumpkin, bouncy obstacle course, lots of games, a playground, and gawking at goats. :) Adults were free. We did need to sign a waiver. Pumpkin prices ranged from $1.50 for a tiny pumpkin to $19.99 for a very large one. Good quality pumpkins and a lot of variety. Super friendly people. Apparently they purchased the property in August and will sell Christmas trees after Thanksgiving and do farmers' markets in the summer. They did have a food truck there. J&J's Mexican food I believe. It looked delicious but we already ate. The front parking lot filled up quick. There was another parking lot past the main entrance.

I never thought I was a zoo person, but this completely changed my mind…read more I visited during the zoo's extended summer hours (Fridays and Saturdays until 9 p.m.--despite what Google Maps says!), and it was one of the best decisions I could have made. We practically had the zoo to ourselves! Google still lists the zoo as closing at 4 p.m. every day, and I don't think the zoo advertises these evening hours nearly enough. Going later in the day made the experience so much better. First, it was much cooler and more comfortable. Second, the animals were incredibly active because the heat had died down. And third, many of them were being fed their dinner near the viewing areas, so we got to watch them up close in a way you normally wouldn't. The staff and volunteers were another highlight. Everyone we talked to was friendly, enthusiastic, and genuinely excited to answer questions and share stories about the animals. You can tell they're passionate about both the animals and the zoo's conservation efforts. I also learned how important it is to support AZA (Association of Zoos and Aquariums) accredited zoos. I came away really impressed by everything the Denver Zoo does for conservation, research, and animal care. If anything, I think they should do a better job of bragging about all the incredible work they're doing--it deserves more attention! One of my favorite moments was watching the tiger stroll across the overhead bridge directly above us. The elephants have a similar crossing, although they weren't using it while we were there. The habitats throughout the zoo were beautifully designed and created such an immersive, interactive experience. I can't recommend visiting during the extended summer hours enough. It felt like having a private zoo experience, and I'll absolutely be back!
