I'm really disappointed. I've read the terrible reviews here, on Google maps as well as on CGN and yet I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt in person. Suffice it to say I won't be coming back. The attitude of the staff really needs to change. They are blatantly ignorant, rude, condescending and unprofessional. I waited quietly in line behind a gentleman that was having some issues at the cash (no fault of his own) for probably at least 5 minutes. I didn't say anything and when it was my turn I walked up for the counter. At the same time someone walked into the store and approached the counter from behind me. The staff member (some bald guy) greeted the person behind me and said nothing to me. He started helping that person despite me having stood there patiently waiting for him to finish with the guy ahead of me. Seriously? Then he laughs at me when I remark that apparently it doesn't matter what order you walk in because it seems they just serve whoever they want. Overhearing what I was looking for when I started talking to another staff member, the first guy that completely ignored me pointed to one side of the store and said "they're over there." Unable to get the help I needed. Another staff member approached. Despite being hesitant at first to help me, he at least asked me what I needed and made the effort to find what I was looking for. It's almost like I was expected to know how they did things there despite it being my first time. It was also my last. I won't be going back again. read more

I always order from this store, but after a shipping mistake was made, Dan over at the shipping department was a true gentleman in helping me out with my problem. Customer service was amazing. Every time I shop here I am always satisfied with everything from the variety to the prices. I've been shopping here for a while and will continue to do so. I have ordered from this store in the past and never gotten even good customer service from the staff. THis last time I ordered 1000 rounds of 9mm and 6 snap caps from them online due to COVID-19 restrictions. THe sale price was adequate. But the customer service was completely negative. Alfred Yeung a staff there threatened to call the RCMP and tell the RCMP that he had just sold a "large quantity of ammunition" to an unstable person! THat is a very serious threat that could ruin my life and cost me thousands of dollars in legal costs! Why did he make the threat? Because I said I was contacting the BBB for file a complaint about the poor customer service and lack of a proper confirmation of sale for an online order. THe reason Alfred states is that I entered my email incorrectly, but I didn't enter my phone number incorrectly and they never called me to confirm the purchase when the email bounced. Most places you talk to on the phone with a good staff member and even if you get harsh in some emails a friendly and courteous staff member calls you and works everything out and everyone is happy at in the conclusion. NOT FOC! they threaten to call the RCMP and make unfounded and false accusations about your mental status. Here is a firearms store that promotes hate and intolerance from what I see. How would you like to get ripped off by a firearms store and then have them turn around and call the RCMP to investigate you for being "unstable" and have a large amount of ammunition. BTW 1000 rounds of 9mm is not a "large amount of ammunition" I know preppers that have over 100,000 rounds of various caliber ammunition and they say they have a small amount compared to the American preppers. In conclusion, FOC has committed a grave offence and has shown me that the staff there, especially ALfred Yeung, cannot be trusted with any online sales. I would ask the legal, law-abiding firearms owning responsible and patriotic people of Canada to boycott a store that makes such harmful and hurtful threats to a customer. No one after the tragedy of Nova Scotia wants to have the RCMP investigate them for being reported as "unstable". That false accusation can ruin a person's life, and for what just because you said you were going to complain to the BBB about the service? Alfred Yeung and FOC need to be taught a lesson that no one can make such threats to a customer. THreats like that must have serious repercussions and we the law abiding legal responsible firearm owners of Canada need to send a message to FOC telling them that this obviously lack of customer respect will not be tolerated by good people of Canada. Stopped by looking for ammo, staff was so helpful with my needs and questions! I have a hard time finding my ammo but they carry it. I snapped up all they had. I emailed the staff about future purchases and he had the ammo restocked for my next visit. These people are on point, wouldn't hesitate to refer them. A welcoming, friendly, helpful approach can make or break a first time buyer experience, and FOC did quite well. I dealt with one rep through e-mail, who rarely hesitated to respond quickly and usefully. The order placement, revisions, and needs were handled professionally, in a timely manner, and I would be more than delighted to (prices allowing) do business here again, just because of my first experience with them. I ran into a few small procedural snags (doubtlessly thanks to javascript silliness) and the FOC rep walked me through correcting the issues quickly and simply. There was an order problem (I received at first only one of four items I ordered) and they re-dispatched the remainder of it immediately. Just for their problem solving acumen, FOC gets points. I buy lots of stuff here. There is a reason for that of course. Great service and knowledgeable staff. Price wise, not too bad, but its all about the people. Times like right now when i dont have the time to go to the store, you can place an order online and either have it delivered or pick up in person. Its a small store but it has just about everything i need for local hunters and target shooters. read more

Service is top notch at FOC, great staff with a ton of knowledge. Always have felt welcome in the store and the staff never have an attitude and won't up sell you. Never felt forced to purchase anything. They have great prices plus multiple sales per year and a excellent selection of non restricted and restricted.
